So it’s perfectly normal for him to be able to concentrate Primordial Qi. However, as Bright hasn’t mastered the technique of harnessing Primordial Qi, he can only rely on athletic skills to mildly channel a small portion of Primordial Qi to unleash power.

In fact, most athletic skills show traces of harnessing Primordial Qi. Even vocal techniques have skills to exert force from the Dantian, making the voice more solid. If you observe carefully, you’ll find that many sports coaches emphasize core training when training students, because the core can support and enhance the power of all the muscles in the body, which is equivalent to the container of Primordial Qi. The more developed the core muscles, the fuller the Primordial Qi. The more coordinated the core muscles are, the more units of Primordial Qi can be mobilized. In plain terms, Primordial Qi is a steady, coherent Vigorous Qi using the core, also called Dantian, as the central location of the body’s thoroughfare, providing fundantal strength to arms, hips, and legs.

As Bright’s thoughts grew clearer, the Primordial Qi within him gathered even more.

When the Primordial Qi in him condensed into a core, Bright’s body suddenly lunged forward, with his legs quickly providing the pedals with both upward and downward force, delivering an initial thrust to the bicycle. Although this action seems simple, it requires the cyclist to have excellent control over balance and timing to swiftly propel the bicycle forward during the shift of balance.

Squeak——

A violent force erupted from the gear and chain, transmitting to the rear wheel’s tube.

His ride imdiately began to accelerate, jumping from an initial speed of 5 kiloters per hour to 30 kiloters per hour in just three seconds.

Buzz!!!!

Bright and his bicycle, like a dark streak, instantly sped past all the observing competitors, accompanied by an intense tire noise that pierced the eardrums, pushing the speed to its peak.

"Fuck!"

"How did he speed up so quickly?"

"His move is so aggressive, and the power is extrely explosive. How did he do it?"

"His leg strength is at least 1.5 tis his previous strength! Did he specially train in weightlifting to gain power?"

"No, no, no, you weren’t here just now. You don’t know, ten minutes ago Bright was not like this."

"So all of this was just his progress within ten minutes?"

"It’s unimaginable; such a huge change in just ten minutes!"

Amidst countless exclamations, Bright’s speed continued to increase.

He circled the training field lap after lap,

with no signs of slowing down, actually getting faster and faster.

It’s important to know that track cycling is also anaerobic exercise. Most anaerobic exercises are likely to be overloaded and highly intense in a short burst, making it difficult to sustain for long periods, and the recovery ti for fatigue is also slow.

When the exercise intensity is not too high, such as long-distance running or long-distance cycling, the body’s energy supply mainly cos from aerobic tabolism of carbohydrates, which is referred to as aerobic exercise in sports. But when the exercise intensity is very intense or rapidly explosive, like weightlifting, 100-ter sprint, short burst cycling, at this mont the body needs a large amount of energy instantly, and under normal circumstances, aerobic tabolism can’t et the needs of the body. Thus, the body converts to anaerobic tabolism to quickly produce a large amount of energy. This state is referred to as anaerobic exercise.

It’s crucial to understand that the ATP energy stored in the human body can only sustain maximal intensity exercise for about 2 seconds, followed by the synthesis of ATP by CP, which can sustain about 6 seconds, totaling around 8 seconds. This ans the body would expend all its energy in a very short sprint distance; to maintain extre speed running, new thermal energy substance ATP must be rapidly synthesized from blood glucose in an anaerobic state to provide energy, with lactic acid being a byproduct. Running 200 ters or 400 ters, 100 ters swimming, tennis, and soccer basically all rely on energy provided by the anaerobic breakdown of muscle glycogen, hence a substantial accumulation of lactic acid occurs in muscles post-exercise, causing intense muscle soreness.

Of course, this anaerobic tabolic ability can also be trained, which athletes refer to as speed endurance. This training can raise the body’s lactate threshold, improving lactic acid resistance. If a normal person’s lactate threshold is the capacity of a bottle of mineral water, the lactate threshold for most top athletes is the capacity of a bucket, allowing them to accumulate much more lactic acid compared to ordinary people.

But the problem is, the lactate threshold has a limit as well. Many athletes never progress beyond that limit following their training. Most track cyclists slow down after their extre bursts last over ten seconds due to unbearable soreness in thigh muscles, and by that ti they’ve typically almost reached the finish line.

But Bright is different; his extre burst duration has far exceeded ten seconds, reaching twenty or even thirty seconds, which certainly doesn’t fall within the human range. Even using the world’s top training techniques, trained athletes can’t maintain an extre burst for such a long ti.

However, there is one exception among humans——

That’s Wang Ye.

As early as half a year ago, he could maintain extre running speed and cycling speed racing for several minutes. And now Bright, who inherited his attributes, can naturally exhibit a lactic acid resistance ability surpassing ordinary people.

Seeing Bright’s terrifying cycling ability, surrounding competitors couldn’t sit still.

It’s important to know Bright is their rival,

and now that their rival has made such great progress all of a sudden, how could they be at ease?

"This guy actually reached 70 kiloters per hour in an instant! And he’s still accelerating, how is he doing it?"

"This already matches the speed and endurance range of a world-class championship! How could he suddenly make such a big progress?"

"Could Bright have been hiding his potential all along? This is terrifying!"

"Oh no, we won’t get good rankings in this competition, Bright is too terrifying. After the competition, I definitely need to seek advice from him!"

Subsequently, the eyes of many competitors shifted to Wang Ye in the corner.

If they weren’t mistaken, Bright had achieved such significant progress after receiving guidance from Wang Ye.

If even Bright could make such progress,

then how fast could that Asian’s limits be?

They dared not imagine...

After about three minutes, Bright’s stamina finally began to show signs of exhaustion, and his speed gradually decreased.

Against the pressure of wind resistance, he slowly stopped on the track.

After several minutes of explosion, Bright, now drenched in sweat, was too exhausted to the point of breathlessness, and his thighs and calves were so sore he couldn’t stand, collapsing on the wooden floor looking very disheveled. But the people around did not cast any disdainful or contemptuous glances at him as Bright’s performance outshone all of them. No one would show contempt or disdain for a strong perforr.

After completing four sets of training, Wang Ye helped Bright up, patting his shoulder,

signaling for him to take a rest, conserve his energy.

Prepare for the upcoming competition.

Bright cast a grateful look at Wang Ye and then pushed his bike back to the rest area. He naturally knew all his improvents were due to Wang Ye, but he was really exhausted now, and with only half an hour left until the competition, he needed a good rest.

Wang Ye wasn’t worried about Bright’s recovery,

knowing his recovery ability was already over a hundred tis that of a normal person.

After Bright had accepted so of his attributes and traits, his current recovery ability is several tis that of a normal person’s, and his lactic acid tabolism capability and muscle fiber strength were more than ten tis that of a normal person. Half an hour is enough for him to recover from fatigue to a state of full energy.
