Xu Li also smiled and invited, "Aunt Kang, Chaozi, please co in. Let’s go inside and chat."
The group softly chatted as they turned and went inside.
Once inside, they sat on the sofa next to the living room. After so small talk, Kang Huijun directly revealed the purpose of her visit today.
"Jiang Tao, Xu Li, Ah Liang and I ca here first to thank you in person for looking after our Ah Liang."
"And also..."
As Kang Huijun spoke, she took out a wallet from her Hers bag and handed it to Jiang Tao.

As she spoke, Kang Huijun took out two square rosewood boxes from her bag and handed them to Jiang Tao and Xu Li respectively.

Xu Li also smiled and expressed her gratitude to Kang Huijun.
"If anyone should thank soone, it’s thanking you. Ah Liang’s father and I have been looking for him for decades."

As Kang Huijun spoke, her gaze fell on Zhang Chao, filled with maternal affection.
Though mother and son had been separated for over twenty years, Zhang Chao was still her flesh and blood; their bond was strong, and blood is thicker than water.
From yesterday afternoon to this morning, in just a day or so, Kang Huijun and Zhang Chao had already ford a deep bond.
The one million reward and a small token of thanks were really nothing to Kang Huijun and Xu Xinglei.
Having delivered her sentints and finished the talks, Kang Huijun left with Zhang Chao.
Jiang Tao and Xu Li walked them downstairs.
They watched as Zhang Chao and Kang Huijun got into the backseat of a rcedes Maybach.

"Oh, right! The money! That wallet Aunt Kang gave you, is it filled with checks?"
At the ntion of money, Xu Li’s eyes sparkled brilliantly.
