Maybe because he had spent too much ti with Yang Qing or maybe because of the changes happening to his body that made the need to eat such a crucial part of his daily routine now, but as he was walking away despite knowing how torturous it would be on him having endured it a few seconds earlier, but Ma Yuan found himself turning his head back, facing where Yang Qing was, with a little bit of hope in his eyes.
Sensing his gaze on him, Yang Qing waved his hands in a spirited fashion which Ma Yuan felt more than likely had sothing to do with the juicy diamond echo fruit he had just consud and the two more waiting to be devoured.

How much does Chief Song actually earn for his abode to be transford this much? My place looks like a beggar’s shack when compared to this and we are in the sa compound," Yang Qing muttered with envy as he breathed in the cool refreshing spiritual qi that had just had the right amount of yin, yang, and the five elents.
Song Chuanli still lived in the Blue Valley, similar to Yang Qing and the rest of the employees of the Order who were in the core formation realm and those who refused to move even after they got the qualifications to move over to the next valley, like Yang Qing, Dai Chen, and Zhang Qingee who elected to stay in their abodes in the blue valley rather than move over to the gold valley which was where those in the palace realm usually stayed.
Yang Qing chose to relinquish that option and receive funds equal to the value of the abode he would have received if he moved to the Gold Valley, which he did receive and had used a substantial part of it to support the Ma Yuan’s gardening project in his abode while the remainder of his funds he had decided he would use to commission a few works from the Formation Array Hall.
He wanted to improve the spiritual gathering array to a middle-tier blue grade one, among a few other things, and whatever was left over he would use to grow the collection of books, scrolls, and tos he had in his library at the abode, along with maybe buying a few things when he tried his luck at the cultivator open-air market.
But even with the changes he had made, or was planning to make, the difference between his abode and Song Chuanli’s were night and day. Be it in terms of the quality of spiritual qi, the inhabitants, or the arrays, he was beaten soundly on all fronts. Being here to him was no different than being in the dark valley where the domain experts lived. He could already tell that Song Chuanli’s abode had a mature dragon spirit vein underneath, which he wondered was sothing that had naturally ford because of being influenced by the unique plants and trees growing around like the Divine pollen tree or was it sothing the Order had done, because of Song Chuanli’s station.
The Order despite its stingy nature, had countless unique treasures, which was why Yang Qing was always at loggerheads with them, not hesitating to sche against them should the chance present itself. Among those unique treasures, there was no shortage of those that could do stupendous things such as evolving the quality of a spirit vein.
Yang Qing knew for a fact they had it because at so point when he was earning rit points like crazy from his extracurricular activities as a devout historian, archeologist, and lost arts enthusiast, he had acquired an obscene amount of rit points because of his research results that he felt he could slap around the Order with it.
Looking back, he does admit his head had gotten a little swollen because of the windfall of rit points he had gained to the point he started entertaining so outlandish ideas like converting his rit points and using them to install himself as the president of the Order.
It was a crazy idea that was impossible to execute but with how amazing rit points were and their ability to acquire almost anything within the Order, from saint-grade treasures to even an increased number of leave days, one could even switch their job posting using them, Yang Qing had on more than one occasion entertained the thought if there was anything rit points couldn’t buy.
The basis of that was the nature of rit points itself. By definition, one could only earn rit points through ’ritorious’ contribution to the Order. Anything that added value to the Order would be counted as a ritorious contribution. Yang Qing completing various incomplete arts, restoring a few scrolls, sharing his research findings, translating various works, handing out so of his lucky finds to the Order, and his duties as a judge, all earned him rit points because it all added to the strengths of the Order in so shape of form.
So to earn a lot of rit points ant you made great contributions to the Order, and following that logic, if you used your rit points to buy a post, why wouldn’t it be possible? rit points could be loosely translated to your value and the more rit points you earned the more value you had and added to the Order and by relation, it stood to reason you should be able to have valuable spots within the Order if your value points was sufficient.
