Miss Eina worked quickly. Before noon the next day, she had already delivered the first batch of iron ore.

The funds for purchasing the ore were advanced using the money from the potions that had already been sold.

Drake had provided 50 Lesser Mana Potions and 50 Healing Potions in one go.

The expected total return on those potions was about 600,000 valis, enough to buy a considerable amount of iron ore.

'Once the Molten Festival is over, I'll have to invite Miss Eina out again and properly repay this favor.'

Looking at the pile of iron ore stacked in the open space, Drake thought to himself.

Then he used Appraisal on the iron ore from the main world.

[You appraised "Iron Ore" x330]

"So it works after all!"

Seeing the prompt before his eyes, Drake's spirits rose imdiately, and his eyes lit up.

After being appraised, this iron ore had turned into proper crafting material!

It was essentially no different from the iron ore mined in Terraria.

If there was any difference, it was only that not every piece of ore had successfully passed appraisal.

So of the lower-quality pieces remained behind as re junk.

Still, that wasn't a major issue.

Being able to gain this much was already more than enough to satisfy Drake.

"At last, this solves the ore shortage right in front of ."

Using the furnace, 3 Iron Ore could be slted into 1 Iron Bar and the process completed instantly, without taking any ti at all.

In the blink of an eye, Drake's inventory had gained 110 Iron Bars.

That speed was the sort of efficiency every blacksmith could only dream of!

With those tal bars, the very first thing Drake needed to do was fully equip himself.

[Iron Armor (White): Includes Helt, Chainmail, and Greaves. Provides a total of 9 defense, 1 life regeneration, and 10% damage reduction.]

Crafting a full set of Iron Armor required 60 Iron Bars.

After putting it on, the number of iron bars Drake had left instantly dropped by more than half.

The remaining tal bars were then used to make an Iron Pickaxe, an Iron Axe, and a Fishing Rod.

[Reinforced Fishing Rod (White): Grants 15 fishing power.]

This was the best fishing rod Drake could obtain at the mont.

The bonus it gave wasn't large, but it was serviceable.

Those two iron tools were sowhat better than the copper pickaxe and axe he had before, allowing him to improve gathering efficiency a little.

As for weapons, since he already had an iron sword brought over from the main world, Drake made an Iron Bow as a ranged weapon instead.

[Iron Bow (White): Deals 8 base damage, added on top of arrow damage.]

The defining feature of bows was that they could use different types of arrows.

The final damage dealt was the bow's own damage plus the arrow's damage.

So arrows also ca with additional effects.

The most basic Wooden Arrows could be crafted from any kind of wood plus stone blocks.

It only took 1 unit of each material to make 25 arrows, making them the very definition of cheap and plentiful.

They could also be bought from the shop for 5 copper coins each.

One gold coin could buy 2,000 Wooden Arrows, so they weren't exactly expensive.

But Drake's funds were limited, so in the end he chose to craft them by hand.

Once he stopped being short on gold, he could buy as many as he wanted and save himself the ti.

Besides that, Drake also turned part of the Wooden Arrows into Flaming Arrows.

It only took 1 torch to turn 10 Wooden Arrows into 10 Flaming Arrows.

Although Flaming Arrows only dealt 1 more point of damage than Wooden Arrows, they had a chance to inflict Burning.

Not only did that deal extra damage, but in dark environnts they also provided light.

Whether for exploration or combat, they were extrely practical.

Drake saved the rest of the iron bars for making things like chests and other facilities.

"Ti to head out and explore."

After resting briefly, Drake looked at the sky and stepped out of the wooden house.

...

Lili, who had been busy all day, was already resting in the room next door, so Drake didn't disturb her and quietly left on his own.

"Based on the terrain I saw from up high, the four directions around the spawn point correspond to four different bios."

"Desert, snowfield, grassland, and jungle."

That was practically the full set of surface bios already.

As for the Ocean and the Corruption, he would have to keep exploring to find them.

This ti, Drake's destination was very clear—the Jungle.

There was only one day left until the Molten Festival.

Converted into Terraria ti, that ant two days.

Within that ti, Drake needed to gather materials and craft a weapon good enough to earn the forging goddess's approval.

On top of that, he also needed to collect equipnt, strengthen himself, and challenge King Sli!

Taking all of those factors together, Drake believed the Jungle was unquestionably the best place to explore.

Although Terraria's jungle was full of thorns and monsters, it also possessed extrely rich natural resources.

Defeating monsters in the jungle bio could drop materials such as Stingers and Vines.

Together with the Jungle Spores scattered all throughout the Underground Jungle, they could be used to craft all kinds of jungle-thed equipnt.

That equipnt was far better than the iron armor and weapons Drake currently had.

For example, a full set of Jungle Armor didn't just provide twice the defense of Iron Armor—it also increased maximum mana by a full 60 points, along with 6% magic damage and critical strike chance!

But what Drake valued most was a weapon crafted from Stingers, Vines, and Jungle Spores—

the Blade of Grass!

The na of the sword sounded rather plain, but its rarity was orange!

In addition to the high base damage expected of that rarity, it also inflicted Poisoned on enemies it struck.

And when swung, it could also fire piercing leaf blades as follow-up attacks!

Those leaf blades could inflict Poisoned as well.

No matter how you looked at it, this was an extrely powerful weapon.

Most importantly, this sword could later be combined with other weapons to upgrade into the mighty Night's Edge!

Of course, the other three weapons needed for that recipe were all much harder to obtain than the Blade of Grass.

With Drake's current abilities, he couldn't gather them yet.

By comparison, the Blade of Grass, which only required jungle materials, was clearly the best option.

This was also the work Drake intended to present at the Molten Festival.

"Once I've got the Jungle set, the Blade of Grass, and the Superheated Ion Blaster, I'll be ready to challenge King Sli."

"Hopefully this exploration… doesn't go wrong. At the very least, hopefully I don't die."

Looking at the pitch-black jungle pit that led deep underground, Drake took a deep breath and slowly lowered a rope.
