Unlike the fourth floor of Babel Tower, where equipnt priced in the millions and tens of millions could be found everywhere,

most of the Hephaestus Familia businesses on the fifth floor catered to mid- and low-level adventurers.

Of course, there were still so extrely expensive high-end pieces on display, but most of those were store treasures that would not easily be sold.

Because of that, most of the adventurers gathered on this floor were Level 1 rookies, followed by Level 2 and Level 3 mid-level adventurers.

Although there were other shops elsewhere that sold cheap equipnt, fraud was easy to run into there.

In such a mixed environnt, a shop carrying the Hephaestus Familia na was naturally far more trustworthy.

Even if the prices were a little higher than average, the quality and after-sales support were guaranteed.

Over ti, the fifth floor of Babel Tower had beco a kind of paradise for low-level adventurers looking to replace and upgrade their gear.

"Huh? Was this shop here the last ti we ca?"

As a rookie adventurer party passed Drake's store, they stopped in confusion and looked it over.

"'Adventurer's Ho'… that sounds more like the na of a tavern or an inn."

"But the Hephaestus Familia crest is on the sign, so it's probably an equipnt shop too, right?"

"Yeah, but all the display window shows are potions… I really don't get it."

The rookie party, made up of a warrior, a mage, and an archer, exchanged glances.

"Should we… go in and take a look?"

In any case, they had co to Babel Tower this ti to stock up for their next adventure.

Since this place also seed to sell supplies, they might as well check the prices.

"Welco."

Seeing new custors enter, Drake, who was personally acting as the shop clerk, walked over with a smile.

Since today was only a soft opening, he hadn't gone to notify Hestia yet.

And as for Lili… she wasn't even taller than the counter, so there was no need to force her into front-desk work.

"What can I help you with?"

"Uh…"

The boy who looked like the party leader—the warrior—looked around and voiced the question on everyone's mind.

"So… what exactly does this shop sell?"

"As you can see, adventuring supplies. And equipnt."

Drake had already expected this question, so he answered smoothly.

"Though I'm still in the process of gathering the materials needed to forge equipnt, so for now I'm mainly selling supplies."

"For example—this magic torch."

With a serious expression, Drake took out an unlit torch from behind the counter and introduced it.

"It can freely switch between lit and unlit states, is unaffected by the environnt, and has an almost infinite burn ti—as long as you don't throw it into water."

After saying that, Drake felt that even if he had never transmigrated, he might still have made a fortune as a salesman.

Being able to make ordinary Terraria junk sound like treasure was a skill in its own right.

That said, in every important way, he was still telling the truth.

"Th-that can't be possible!"

One of the warrior boy's teammates couldn't help objecting.

Judging from his clothes, he was probably a mage apprentice with so knowledge of magic.

"How could there be a torch that burns forever… was it made with dragon's blood or sothing?"

"The crafting thod is a trade secret of this shop."

Drake smiled and gave a noncommittal answer.

"If you have doubts about what I said, why not buy one and try it? It's only 2,000 valis for a reusable magic torch."

At that price, even the skeptical mage adventurer fell silent.

At that level of cost, forget burning forever—even if it only lasted a week, it would already be a bargain.

"Let's buy one and try it."

The warrior boy coughed lightly and pulled out his coin pouch.

"Do you have anything else?"

"Yes, custor, yes I do…"

Drake glanced at the composition of the rookie team and the corners of his mouth lifted slightly as he took out two bundles of arrows.

"Ordinary Wooden Arrows—one bundle of 100 for only 500 valis."

"And over here are Flaming Arrows. They deal more damage than wooden arrows, and have a chance to inflict burning on hit."

"Flaming Arrows cost 20,000 valis per bundle, also 100 arrows each."

After hearing the description of the Flaming Arrows, the archer girl in the rookie party imdiately lit up.

"Enchanted arrows?! El— I want those!"

Apparently, the warrior boy's na was El.

Hearing his teammate's request, he scratched his head awkwardly.

"Uh, Eileen… twenty thousand valis is still kind of expensive."

"Expensive?!"

Without needing Drake to explain further, the archer girl had already rushed up in front of her teammate, clearly afraid of missing out.

"These are enchanted arrows! That ans they're only 200 valis each—that's already really cheap!"

"With these Flaming Arrows, I can provide much stronger ranged support… we might even be able to explore the second floor of the Dungeon next ti, which ans more inco too!"

Seeing that the warrior boy was still hesitating, his inexperienced face showing the embarrassnt of soone short on funds and tighter on budget than he wanted to admit, Drake gave a generous wave of his hand and set several potions on the counter.

"You're the first custors since I opened, so I can throw in so potions for free."

"These have already been appraised by the Guild, so you can use them with confidence."

"For example, this Lesser Mana Potion can instantly restore all the mana of a low-level caster, with no side effects. Its regular price is 10,000 valis."

This finally made even the mage apprentice who had questioned him earlier widen his eyes. After coughing once, he leaned in toward the captain.

"El, we ca here to buy supplies anyway. Since they're giving us free potions, I say we should just listen to Eileen and buy the enchanted arrows."

"All right… if both of you are saying that."

Seeing that his two teammates had both voted in favor, the captain, El, had no choice but to change his plan and pull out the full budget.

After taking the valis the custors handed over, Drake added, "This store will also be selling armor and weapons suitable for low-level adventurers in the future. Before your next expedition, feel free to co take a look."

"Thanks… we will."

The warrior boy nodded, glancing at his teammates' expressions.

One of them was holding the Flaming Arrows as if she couldn't bear to put them down, while the other had already hidden the mana potion like it was a treasure.

Even if he didn't want to co back next ti, those two would probably drag him here anyway.

Hopefully, by the next ti they visited, there'd be so armor he could use. His weapon needed replacing too.

After seeing off the first group of custors, Drake stretched lazily and waited for the next wave to co in.

He believed that with the cheap, practical, and genuinely effective goods in his shop, the na Adventurer's Ho would spread quickly.

At the very least, it would beco well-known among low-level adventurers in no ti.

"After all, Lesser Potions, torches, and arrows are all things I can farm infinitely."

"Once the shop gets going, all I'll really need is to drag Hestia over here to serve as the mascot."

After the day's business ended, Drake stretched and flipped the OPEN sign at the entrance around.

At the sa ti, a new system prompt appeared before his eyes.

[A world available for travel has been found.]

"Hm? Tokonosu City…"

Seeing that location na, Drake raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"So it's the world of Highschool of the Dead."

"Let think… the characters in that world really do have potential for contracting."

At the mont, Drake could assign two new roles.

They were Nurse and Demolitions Expert.

Shizuka Marikawa from Highschool of the Dead just so happened to be a doctor.

There was a good chance she might possess a contract skill related to dicine.

As for Demolitions Expert…

Drake couldn't imdiately think of anyone who fit.

"If the entry point is at the airport, then maybe I'll run into Rika Minami."

"Hm? There's more information?"

Right after that first system prompt, two more lines appeared before Drake's eyes.

[This world is affected by the power of "Calamity." A "Blood Moon" event will occur every 7 days without fail.]

[The next world expansion slot will be unlocked after defeating "Skeletron."]
