After returning to the small house at the spawn point, Drake quickly figured out the Sea King function.

When Drake served as the Sea King, he gained the ability to breathe underwater and move freely there.

He could also grant others the Sea King's Blessing, giving them the sa buffs, though it only lasted ten minutes.

Besides that, he could open the Sea King's shop and buy various ocean-thed items.

But what made Drake happiest was that from now on, even when there were no contractees around him, he could still open a shop interface to buy and sell items.

"Now I never have to worry about my inventory running out of space again."

The Sea King's shop contained many weapons. Most of them were related to the sea.

Drake glanced through them.

Those weapons were fairly average, and he basically had no use for them, but they could be placed in the shop to fill out the display.

Other than that, there were the spoils from the Giant Clam.

Because it was only a mini-boss, the Giant Clam did not drop a treasure bag.

Drake sorted out a pile of materials from the Piggy Bank — Navystone and Mollusk Husks.

These two were materials used to craft Sunken Sea-series equipnt, and they could be made into Mollusk armor, which possessed extrely high defense.

This armor set provided excellent stat bonuses, comparable even to mid-Hardmode armor.

However, it greatly reduced the wearer's mobility and was extrely heavy.

"I wonder if my ability scores can offset the negative effect of this armor."

Since he had the [Terra Craftsman] Skill, he would have to make a set sooner or later anyway.

So Drake simply took out all the Sea Prisms he had collected and began crafting.

Crafting a full set of Mollusk armor required 31 Mollusk Husks and 60 Sea Prisms.

Because he had already explored the lab, Drake had plenty of Sea Prisms, but he had only just enough Mollusk Husks.

After making one set of armor, he would not be able to craft any other Sunken Sea-series weapons.

Although that was sowhat regrettable, the mont Drake saw the Mollusk armor's attributes, his eyes lit up.

[Mollusk Armor — Pink]

[ 55 defense]

[ 37% attack damage]

[ 14% critical strike chance]

[-22% movent speed]

[Allows free movent in liquids]

[Summons two "Shellfish" to protect you]

[Equipnt data is for comparison only and will not be described in detail.]

To be honest, even with the negative effect, it was hard not to be tempted by those attributes.

One had to know that Drake's current best armor, Jungle armor, only had 17 defense!

"This set of equipnt should probably last until after the Wall of Flesh."

Drake equipped the full set of Mollusk armor and imdiately felt that his movents were slightly hindered.

But the effect was not too serious.

As long as he got used to it, it was basically just so extra weight.

However… Drake was not particularly satisfied with that result.

"If I use the decomposition ability of Stigmata Alchemy, maybe I can…"

Gazing at the heavy armor on his body, Drake lightly ran his hand across it.

When he had crafted it earlier, he had already completed his analysis of the Mollusk armor's structure and materials.

[Decompose]!

The armor covering Drake's body suddenly began to disappear, as if it were lting away.

Eventually, it revealed the ordinary clothes Drake was wearing underneath.

But as Drake gently snapped his fingers, the armor that had just vanished actually appeared on his body once more.

"Not bad. I can manifest the armor only during battle and save ti changing equipnt."

The attributes of equipnt and items in Terraria were fixed.

However, Drake could use his own forging techniques and alchemy to modify them.

The "one-click equipnt swap" he had just demonstrated was the result of his recent research into Stigmata Alchemy.

Aside from the Mollusk armor, the Giant Clam had also contributed a magic book and two accessories to Drake.

It could be said that it had emptied out its entire fortune for him.

"So it was this thing."

Seeing the magic book with a trident pattern printed on its cover, Drake was sowhat surprised.

"Looks like the Superheated Plasma Cannon is finally going to temporarily retire."

[Poseidon — Pink]

[Consus 12 mana. Releases the typhoon of the sea god Poseidon. Each typhoon can deal damage up to 6 tis. The typhoon automatically tracks enemies, dealing 52 magic damage and inflicting the "Eutrophication" debuff.]

This was a magic weapon with tracking effects.

Drake walked out of the small house and raised his hand, releasing a cyan-blue whirlwind.

The whirlwind paused briefly after being released, then flew toward a Sli in the distance.

In less than a second, the Sli that had been swept high into the air turned into several silver coins and so gel, dropping from above.

"High damage, multiple hits, and tracking… this is the one."

Drake happily placed the magic book near the front of his inventory so he could easily take it out.

With his total mana, he could instantly release more than a dozen Poseidon typhoons, sweeping the entire field.

The Superheated Plasma Cannon was good, but before its third upgrade, its base damage was a little too low to justify the 20 mana cost.

After Drake defeated the Eater of Worlds, perhaps it would enjoy a second spring.

The final item dropped by the Giant Clam was a ring embedded with a large pearl.

[Giant Pearl — Green]

[Grants you "Pearl Aura" when equipped.]

[Enemies and projectiles within the aura are slowed.]

[Provides a small amount of light underwater.]

[Aura effect does not work on bosses.]

"Not bad. Although it can't be upgraded further, it should be useful during regular exploration."

Drake put the pearl ring on his hand, and a soft glow radiated from his body.

He discovered that his skin had beco smooth, fair, and lustrous like a pearl, looking strangely alluring.

"This thing even has a beauty effect?"

Drake did not know whether to laugh or cry as he turned off the accessory's visual effect. Only then did he return to normal.

Although it looked decent, having his body glow was far too attention-grabbing.

After defeating the Giant Clam, Drake's equipnt had completed a full round of upgrades.

In terms of weapons, the Superheated Plasma Cannon was finally retired and replaced with the more powerful Poseidon.

His armor had been greatly upgraded, and his accessories now included practical items like the Shield of Cthulhu and Giant Pearl.

Next… it was ti to challenge the boss of the Corruption, the Eater of Worlds.

"With my current strength, I should be able to clear it easily in one attempt, right?"

Drake simulated it in his mind. Unless he deliberately threw the fight, he should absolutely be able to crush the Eater of Worlds.

After all, his current equipnt was already at late-pre-Hardmode progression, while the Eater of Worlds was only an early boss.

"I'll find so ti tomorrow or the day after to awaken and kill the Eater of Worlds. That should trigger the teorite event."

"After defeating the Hive Mind, I can also explore the Floating Islands and gather so Aerialite Ore along the way."

"After that… I'll have to go deep into the Underworld and mine so Hellstone."

"There really are too many things to do."

...

Stretching lazily, Drake first had Enju return to the company, while he himself went back to Orario to check on the shop.

After all, although he had handled the Loki Familia's provocation in the morning, there was no telling whether other accidents had happened.

"Hm? Riveria is looking for ?"

After listening to the ssage relayed by the petite goddess, Drake was sowhat puzzled.

"Why would the famous Nine Hell suddenly visit… Oh, is it because of Lefiya?"

Only then did he rember that after the Mana Crystal he had given Lefiya was sohow used, the elven girl had fallen unconscious and had to be sent back to the Loki Familia for examination.

He did not expect them to co looking for him as soon as he returned.

They couldn't be asking for compensation, right?

"Relax. Judging by that girl's attitude, she probably isn't trying to make things difficult for you."

Seeing Drake frown, Hestia reached out and smoothed his brow.

"She even ca this morning intending to apologize to you."

"Apologize to … why?"

That only confused Drake even more.

"You already forgot?"

Hestia pointed at the shop counter and reminded him, "This morning, a group of Loki Familia children ca to ask you to custom-make equipnt, didn't they?"

"It's probably because of that."

"Hmm…"

Drake pondered for a mont, then shrugged.

"I took their money, and they got equipnt they liked. It was mutually beneficial… What's there to apologize for?"

"But since Riveria wants to et , I might as well go see her. It's not like I'll lose anything."

"Did she say where to et?"

"Where else?"

Hestia shrugged.

"Of course, at the Loki Familia's favorite tavern — The Hostess of Fertility."
