The Dead End Butcher slamd its mallet into the earth with a deafening roar, repeating the action three tis in rapid succession. Each strike left a massive crater in the arena, sending violent shockwaves that made the entire floor tremble.

After the third strike, the monster fell into a brief state of stagnation.

"Now! All out!"

The group, having waited for this exact opening, unleashed everything they had.

Ais's [Ariel], Bete's kicks, Tiona's Urga, Tione's scimitars, and Tifa's teor Plu... A relentless barrage of attacks poured onto the monster like a cascade of fireworks. Seizing the opportunity, Alicia finished her concurrent chanting, and [Crysta Novus] exploded against the beast, coating it in a thin layer of frost that sluggishly slowed its movents.

However, this brief lull was rely the prelude to a more violent assault.

The mont the onslaught ceased, the Dead End Butcher yanked its mallet from the ground and began to spin like a deranged top. The massive weapon transford into a scythe of death, its reach covering the entire lee range.

"That's so cheap!" Tiona scread, rolling backward in a frantic scramble.

Thanks to Robin's early warning, everyone had evacuated the kill zone just in ti, narrowly avoiding being shredded by the terrifying whirlwind. Seeing that lee was no longer viable, the Dead End Butcher raised its left hand. A sphere of purple energy coalesced in its palm and hurtled toward Alicia, homing in on her position.

"Gospel!"

Aiden raised his hand and fired a sonic blast, intercepting the energy ball with surgical precision. The resulting explosion kicked up a fierce gale that sent Alicia flying backward, only to be caught firmly by Aiden.

"Thank you." The blonde elf steadied herself and offered her thanks, though her eyes flickered with a strange, unreadable light.

"This bastard knows how to play dirty!" Bete spat.

The Dead End Butcher attempted the sa trick again, but this ti it drew energy directly from its weapon, manifesting three slowly expanding orbs of energy that pursued Ais, Tifa, and Daphne respectively. Their sluggish speed combined with their ever-growing size exerted a crushing psychological pressure.

The three imdiately split up, moving at high speeds in different directions to shake the pursuit, but the orbs clung to them like maggots on a bone.

"Watch out, they're about to detonate!" Robin warned.

Almost simultaneously, the monster raised its hand, and the three spheres exploded.

In the mont of crisis, Ais used a sharp, limit-breaking turn to escape the blast radius. Tifa used the shockwave to perform a mid-air roll and landed gracefully. Daphne instantly activated her defensive magic, [Lamour]. Enveloped in a shimring coat of light and further bolstered by Jeanne's barrier, she weathered the aftershocks. Though pale, she remained unhard.

"It's not over!" Robin's voice rang out again.

The Dead End Butcher swept its mallet across the ground, sending out purple ripples of light that flew low to the earth toward different adventurers. Raul barely dodged the first wave, only for it to arc unnaturally in mid-air and strike from behind. He was forced into a desperate roll to escape.

"Maintain formation! Don't panic!" Anakitty shouted, weaving through the light waves with agile grace while guiding her comrades.

The rhythm of the battle turned lethal and complex. Then, without warning, the Dead End Butcher's silhouette vanished.

"It's invisible! Everyone, guard up!" Robin's voice carried a hint of urgency.

A second later, the massive fra of the monster materialized directly in front of the rear-line mages, its mallet already mid-swing in a devastating rotation.

"Oh no!" Lefiya's face went white.

Just as the mountain-shattering strike was about to pulverize the mages, a stalwart, reliable figure threw himself into the path. Gareth planted his massive shield, etched with countless scars of war, firmly in front of Lefiya and the others.

The collision between the mallet and the Great Shield produced an ear-splitting boom. A physical shockwave rippled outward in concentric circles, stripping a layer of solid rock from the floor. Yet, despite absorbing that thunderous blow, Gareth stood like a rivet driven into the earth—immovable, unyielding.

It was the Dead End Butcher that recoiled from the sheer force of the counter-shock, its massive body stumbling as it lost its balance.

"Now!" Robin signaled.

"Aiden!" Bete let out a sky-rending howl.

Aiden understood instantly. With a flicker of thought, he activated his enchantnt magic, [Everlasting Flas]. Platinum-gold fire draped over him like a divine robe. He reached out, aiming toward Bete's silver mythril boots.

The hyper-compressed fla energy transford into a stream of pure heat, striking Bete's tal boots, Flos Virt, with pinpoint accuracy. The tyrannical flas were drawn into the boots as if by a magnet, completely absorbed by the specialized footwear.

Bete felt his legs ignite. With a roar of pure exhilaration, he crossed the distance in a few strides. His right leg, saturated with the power of the flas, struck the Dead End Butcher's exposed chest like a screaming teor.

BOOM!

Amidst the violent explosion, the monster's chest armor shattered. Massive sparks scattered like festive fireworks.

"Move, move! My turn!" Tiona shouted, spinning her massive double-blade, Urga, into a golden whirlwind above her head. "I'm gonna cut this thing in half!"

With a fearless charge, Tiona leaped high into the air, tracing a graceful arc before pouring every ounce of her strength into a downward cleave. The savage strike tore through the air and shredded the monster's hardened shell and knotted muscle, severing its entire left arm at the shoulder in a single blow.

Ais's figure blurred into a gale, appearing behind the staggering beast. On her sword, Desperate, the hyper-compressed hurricane let out a piercing shriek before she lunged. The blade pierced through the wound Bete had opened, erupting from the other side and leaving a gaping, translucent hole through the monster's torso.

"Still not done!" Raul and Anakitty blurred forward like twin shadows, their longswords cutting precisely into the monster's leg joints.

With the screech of tearing tal, the Dead End Butcher—unable to support its massive weight—finally collapsed to its knees.

"Everyone back! Mages, fire!" Robin issued the final command.

Ais and the others didn't linger, withdrawing instantly to clear the line of fire. Behind Gareth's unbreakable defense, the mages, led by Lefiya, had already finished their final incantations.

"—Pierce, absolute striking arrow!"

Dozens of magical volleys streaked through the air like a teor shower, carrying a brilliant, purifying light. They rained down upon the kneeling, immobilized Floor Boss. There was no scream, no struggle.

Within that torrent of magic—hot enough to vaporize steel—the Floor Boss that had caused them so much trouble was blown into nothingness.

Under the gaze of the weary group, the ominous purple magical veins that had covered the monster converged in the air, finally solidifying into a massive, translucent magic stone that hit the ground with a crystalline clink. The monster's body dissolved into black smoke, leaving behind a strange block of tal flickering with a dark green luster.
