"A-Amazing—"

Lefiya's eyes widened in shock as she watched Aiden effortlessly boss around a Goddess to run an errand for him. She felt her entire worldview being challenged.

Even their frivolous patron deity, Loki, commanded imnse respect within their Familia; every mber treated her with reverence.

She had never seen a Goddess treated like a little maid by her own Familia mber before.

Ais's golden eyes also widened slightly.

Furina didn't feel like a Goddess to her at all.

She possessed none of the overbearing capriciousness typical of the gods, nor their tendency to do whatever they pleased without consequence. Instead, she was easily manipulated, acting exactly like a normal human girl.

Before long, Furina ca running back out, hugging the White Tassel that was taller than she was. Because the spear was a bit heavy, her steps were sowhat unsteady.

"Here!"

She shoved the spear into Aiden's arms.

Aiden took the spear effortlessly and habitually gave the stubborn ahoge on the Water God's head another rub. It felt just as silky smooth as always.

"You!"

Furina pouted in displeasure, looking like a riled-up kitten, and shoved Aiden forcefully in the back. "Go on, get out! Stop being an eyesore!"

Seeing her acting tough but aning well, Aiden chuckled. Carrying the White Tassel, he turned and headed toward the Hephaestus Familia's shops with Ais and Lefiya.

Walking down the streets of Orario in the morning, the sunlight was warm and pleasant.

The trio walking side by side drew plenty of attention, especially when people recognized the Sword Princess and the Thousand Elf.

"Mr. Aiden, what is that spear?" Lefiya asked curiously, eyeing the antique-looking polearm in Aiden's hand.

"Oh, this? I got it by accident."

Aiden weighed the spear in his hand, explaining with a smile. "But no one in our Familia uses spears, so I'm planning to sell it to the Hephaestus Familia."

There was no need to hide it.

"I don't know much about weapons, but this one looks pretty good. It should fetch a good price, right?"

Lefiya studied the spear shaft, then turned to her companion. "What do you think, Miss Ais?"

Compared to Lefiya, a mage specializing in spells, Ais, a top-tier swordswoman, naturally possessed a far deeper understanding of weaponry.

"May I see it?" Ais looked at Aiden, her golden eyes serious.

"Of course."

Aiden handed the spear over without hesitation.

The mont Ais took the spear, she felt its unusual balance and heft.

She gave it an effortless test swing. The spear tip instantly sliced through the air, creating a sharp gust of wind. Fortunately, this stretch of the road was mostly empty.

Ais stopped, her pale fingertips lightly tracing the cold tal of the tip. After a mont, she delivered her verdict. "Second-Class adventurer equipnt. Suitable for Level 3 adventurers. It's hard to pin down an exact price, but it shouldn't be less than three million Valis."

"?!"

Lefiya stared at the White Tassel in shock. She never imagined that this plain-looking spear was actually highly valuable Second-Class adventurer equipnt.

"Second-Class adventurer equipnt, huh—"

Aiden rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

The best weapon he had bought so far was a Third-Class weapon that cost less than a million Valis.

Although he felt the White Tassel was superior to his current longsword, he hadn't had a clear grasp of exactly how much better it was.

Now, with Ais's professional assessnt, he finally had a concrete understanding of his system's drops.

A re 3-star White Tassel was already considered a Second-Class weapon.

Then what about a 4-star? It would likely be a First-Class weapon.

And a 5-star goes without saying—it would probably be a devastating weapon that transcended conventional First-Class gear entirely.

"Thank you, Miss Ais. Now I have a good idea of its worth," Aiden smiled, taking back the spear Ais handed over.

"Mm. You're welco," Ais replied softly, her words concise as always.

That was just her personality. If this were a light novel or an ani, she would be the deadpan background heroine who barely had any lines.

"To show my thanks, let buy you both so Jagamarukun."

Catching sight of a Jagamarukun stall by the road, Aiden suggested with a smile.

He rembered clearly that this expressionless Sword Princess had a soft spot for this particular commoner street food.

Sure enough, at the ntion of Jagamarukun, a bright spark lit up in Ais's usually tranquil golden eyes.

"Miss Ais, Miss Lefiya, what flavor do you like?"

Aiden didn't give them a chance to decline. He walked right up to the stall and turned back to ask.

"Red bean cream," Ais said without a mont's hesitation.

"? Then—I'll have the sa as Miss Ais," Lefiya said softly, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Got it. Three red bean cream Jagamarukun, please," Aiden told the stall owner.

Soon, three piping hot, aromatic Jagamarukun were ready. Aiden took them and handed one to each of the girls.

"Thank you."

After a quiet word of thanks, Ais and Lefiya began taking small, elegant bites of their snacks.

Chatting and laughing along the way while sharing the sa food naturally brought the two girls and Aiden closer together.

Suddenly, Aiden's body stiffened. He jerked his head around, staring toward the distant, towering Babel Tower, his brows furrowing imperceptibly.

"What's wrong, Mr. Aiden?" Lefiya jumped at his sudden movent and asked with concern.

"Nothing. It just felt like soone was watching . Probably just my imagination."

Aiden's eyes darkened for a second before he looked away and smiled apologetically at Lefiya. "Sorry, did I startle you?"

"N-No, it's fine," Lefiya waved her hands hurriedly.

"Trust your instincts."

Ais stopped eating, her expression turning serious, her tone carrying far more weight. "Are you being targeted?"

Adventurers—especially those who had leveled up—had their fundantal life state elevated. Their instincts were far sharper than ordinary people's.

The chances of it being a re hallucination were incredibly low.

If Aiden felt soone watching him, then he was more than likely right.

After all, the Loki Familia had a Captain, Finn, whose intuition was basically a cheat code.

"It's fine," Aiden laughed easily, smoothly turning it into a joke. "I'm walking with the famous Thousand Elf and the Sword Princess, after all. It's only natural to draw so attention."

"N-No, that's not it at all! I still have a long way to go! Miss Ais is the radiant one."
