"Why don't I have any system as a transmigrator...?"
Under the night sky of another world, a boy with blonde hair walked down the street, helplessly observing his surroundings.
The houses were mostly Greek style, with a Gothic church up ahead and a towering structure in the center of his view, likely the Babel.
In addition, there were so strange and unusual buildings, resembling a hodgepodge of different mythologies.
His na was Sion, an Earthling who had arrived in this unknown world in the blink of an eye.
The idea that arriving in another world would automatically grant you a harem and the pinnacle of life was utter nonsense. He couldn't even overco the most basic language barrier.
He had just been a nobody on Earth, so thinking he could suddenly beco soone superior in another world was impossible.
Although he wasn't completely useless, he had no system or resources. His sudden transmigration made re survival a challenge.
That would have been fine, but the main problem was that he didn't understand the language of this world.
After several unsuccessful attempts to communicate with a shop owner, Sion was driven away by the impatient man, leaving him holess on the streets.
"Let's try one last ti. Hopefully, the priest in the church will have so compassion, otherwise I'll have to spend a cold, hungry night on the streets..."
"Damn, when have I ever suffered like this?"
Sion complained as he walked toward the faintly lit church up ahead.
He knocked, and with a creak, the church doors opened.
Surprisingly, the person inside was not a priest, but a beautiful girl with white hair wearing a black Gothic dress.
"Um... are you alright?"
A gentle voice brought Sion back to his senses. The soft spoken girl with white hair was looking at him with worried eyes.
"Um, hello."
As Sion spoke, he rubbed his stomach, which let out a grumbling sound. He then put his hands together against his cheek to make a sleeping gesture, and finally pressed his palms together in a pleading motion.
"You don't understand Koine?"
The girl blinked, and without hesitation, extended her hand in invitation, "Would you like to co in?"
"Thank you."
Sion stared at the girl in surprise, then stepped inside at her invitation.
"Being hungry is awful. Here, let's eat sothing," teria spoke softly and gently, then handed him a loaf of bread.
It looked fairly soft, not like a rock hard baguette that could kill soone.
He looked at teria. Her face was flawless, her clothes were spotless, and her hands were smooth and delicate, she was clearly a young lady from a wealthy background.
It was unlikely she would give him her own dinner and leave herself without food...
Grumble, grumble~
Just as he was thinking this, a similar sound ca from teria's stomach.
"Ah..."
teria blushed, looking incredibly charming.
This caused his eyes to flicker slightly. He glanced at his dirty hands, then took out a handkerchief from his pocket.
He carefully broke the bread in half, then handed a piece wrapped in the handkerchief back to teria.
Sion gestured, asking if she wanted to eat together.
teria seed to understand. She accepted the bread with a smile, "Thank you. Actually, it's fine to just use your hands."
This was the first ti he had ever seen a young lady like her. People with such elegance and pure eyes were practically extinct on Earth.
Sion quickly devoured his half of the bread. Although he was only half full, he breathed a sigh of relief.
The feeling of starvation was awful. It was the first ti he had experienced it.
As the girl handed him a glass of water, Sion thanked her again.
"My na is teria, and I am a mber of the Hera Familia."
The beautiful girl with white hair smiled gently, pointed to herself, and repeated her na, "teria."
"... teria?"
Following the girl's voice and gestures, Sion realized what she was doing.
Is she introducing herself?
"That's right, it's teria. Rember that." teria looked happy.
"My na is Sion."
