"Yes, his magic theory is enough to completely overturn the entire mage system, and this is a feat he accomplished in less than a month," Riveria chid in.
During this ti, Riveria had also learned many secrets about Sion, which was why she was even more amazed.
If she were told that he had an entire research team behind him, or that Sion had been rigorously practicing magic since childhood, it would all be understandable.
Yet, he had only perford his awakening ritual a month ago, and entirely on his own, he had created a complete, revolutionary system for the arcane world.
Undoubtedly, all the inhabitants of gekkai would eventually benefit from this in the future.
"As your future husband, he is qualified," Alfia finally acknowledged.
Although, in teria's view, Alfia's words seed more like a cover up to mask so new confusing feelings of her own.
However, Alfia refused to accept this idea, constantly deceiving herself, unaware of how things would develop in the future.
teria was not dissatisfied with this. In fact, she even wanted to help Alfia realize it. Unfortunately, she was just the physically frail twin and could hardly force her sister to confront her feelings.
Nevertheless, she was looking forward to the outco.
"There is no such thing as being qualified or unqualified," teria shook her head softly.
"Whether he is strong or weak, whether he is a genius or not or even whether he is handso or ugly none of that matters."
"To , those things are rely added value, much like sister's silentium eden."
Was the ability important? It was, but it was nothing compared to the intrinsic value of Alfia herself.
Often, a Falna could inspire acquired magic that far exceeded the user's base value, but this did not apply to Alfia.
Even if her status were completely reset and her magic slots wiped clean, Alfia would still inevitably manifest her spell, and she'd not even need a grimoire to do it.
teria's love for Sion was exactly the sa. She had fallen in love with him first, and only afterward discovered his monstrous talent.
teria understood this with crystal clarity and was unwilling to let her pure, original feelings be tainted by vanity or a desire for power.
"He said he would help . He said he would rid of the recoil of my debilitating Skill," teria said softly, gently holding the unconscious Sion's hand.
"I'm deeply moved, but it has nothing to do with his magical ability, and everything to do with his sheer devotion."
"He is also the only person who truly understands . Even if we cannot be together in the end, I still want to leave behind a child of our love for him."
Hera could not stop her, nor could the rest of her Familia. teria's resolve was to love him with everything she had, even at the cost of her own fragile life.
Fortunately, Hera cared deeply for her, and teria had already expressed her unwavering conviction to her god. Sion's desperate efforts to cure her were his response to teria's devotion.
This was beautiful...
"I see," Alfia finally understood.
From the very beginning, Alfia had no say in their relationship. Even if Alfia tried to pull rank as her sister to tear them apart, it would only lead to the complete breakdown of their sisterly bond.
Fortunately, Alfia respected teria's will above all else and would never do anything excessive, even if she was initially unwilling to accept the situation.
She should have felt very uncomfortable when she realized this, as if her precious younger sister had been stolen away. But for so inexplicable reason, Alfia only felt a strange sense of lancholy at this mont.
It was not anger, but a bizarre sense of hollow depression. She had tried to change the subject earlier, but it had only made her feel worse.
"That is wonderful..." Riveria, who was standing nearby listening, couldn't help but sigh wistfully.
Alfia remained silent, for even she could not help but recognize the strange emotion welling up inside her. It was, undeniably, envy.
She was, after all, still just a 16 year old girl. In the lightnovels, her traumatic experiences, high stress environnt, and terminal illness prevented her from ever entertaining such romantic thoughts. But the current situation was vastly different.
The butterfly effect stirred up by the Sion was indeed quite significant. Although this budding feeling was not yet entirely obvious to her, it would inevitably grow sooner or later.
This was exactly why teria had teased her earlier.
Two hours later, Sion woke up to find that the three girls were actually getting along very well.
My body and Mind have sowhat recovered, but I still feel a strange lingering sense of fatigue, Sion thought. This is probably what they call mind down.
"You are awake!" teria looked at Sion with a bright, surprised smile, then asked with a hint of concern, "How is your mind?"
"I am okay, just a little exhausted," Sion said, rubbing his temples. "I will be fine after a couple of days of solid rest."
Alfia's expression was sowhat unnatural as she looked at him. This was the first ti in her life she had ever owed soone such a colossal favor, and that person happened to be her future family.
She knew all too well just how precious this Imprint spell was. She deeply understood the imnse physical and ntal sacrifices Sion had made to cast it.
In the end, this was a debt that was basically impossible to repay.
"Riveria," Sion said, breaking the silence.
