"It's always good to have more power, and this is only a fraction of it. Next, I'll teach you all the spells I've created."
Sion calmly looked at Alfia and said, "Moreover, this move has an advanced form, which involves changing the elental nature of your Mind to create new magic effects, such as incorporating your Silence into it."
Sion continued, "Or you could complete the change in elental properties. It doesn't require chanting, and its power is no less than your third spell."
Alfia already owed Sion too much, and she was fairly certain this move was his trump card.
Even so, he still taught her without hesitation. Knowing its imnse value, Alfia couldn't help tremble.
Although I don't want to accept it, it's undoubtedly just my own pointless pride.
Whether it was to increase her chances of winning or for teria's sake, she had to accept it.
But deep down, Alfia's feelings for him had long since changed.
He's practically family now, isn't he?
After giving herself a ntal prep talk, Alfia reached out her hand.
Failed?
She tried a second ti, and then a third ti.
The wind generated by the spell caused the library's bookshelves to creak, but Sion blocked the impact with a barrier spell.
Two minutes later, a sphere spinning erratically appeared in Alfia's hand.
Because magic is highly compressed, the amount of power it can exert depends entirely on the individual's output.
In particular, the unstable magic would cause an Ignis Fatuus every ti she failed, but fortunately, it was just a minor problem for soone of Alfia's caliber.
"Amazing! It took two whole days to finalize this, but you only needed to watch it once."
Sion exclaid, "I haven't even taught you the underlying theories to master this magic yet, and you've already learned it."
Seeing that Alfia had learned the Spiral magic in just five minutes, Sion was genuinely envious.
Although Sion, as the creator, had to explore and experint to even build the prototype, learning the spell after just one viewing should've been impossible.
"Next cos the change in elental nature."
Sion stood up and said, "Let's go to the training grounds."
At the Hera familia's training grounds, Sion taught Alfia all of his spells.
Even so, Sion still felt a deep sense of crisis.
He was truly afraid that his influence would cause Alfia, who could have otherwise survived, to die on the battlefield.
"I'm the one who'll be going to the battlefield, so why are you looking so gloomy?"
Alfia looked at Sion's expression and was left speechless.
Sion shook his head and said, "If you die in battle because of , not only will teria be devastated, but I'll also live with regret."
Sion's very existence had already interfered with the tiline.
Even if it seed like things might be going well, it was highly likely that by establishing an advantage, they would fight even harder and end up getting killed.
This is known as the butterfly effect.
"I don't usually lecture those who i like, but looking at you like this really makes angry."
Alfia revealed her irritation as she said, "You are far more arrogant than I am."
"Even the gods cannot fully predict the possibilities of gekkai, let alone a human who isn't even an adventurer."
You've already done so much, yet you're still worrying about this and that.
Do you think we're children?
"Perhaps."
Sion said noncommittally, "But compared to my arrogance, yours is far more deadly."
He didn't listen to at all.
Alfia frowned.
She wanted to say sothing, but when she opened her mouth, she couldn't utter a single word.
"You're so annoying."
Alfia glared coldly at Sion before leaving.
Sion completely ignored her attitude, which made Alfia even more frustrated.
And damn I even said I like him...
Too irritated to even bring a supporter, Alfia headed straight for the dungeon.
"I guess she went there to vent her emotions."
Sion returned to the house where teria lived, frowning as he pondered.
"Sion."
teria walked over unnoticed, gently smoothing Sion's brow, and asked, "Are you worried about my Familia?"
She had witnessed Sion's restless behavior during this period.
Sion wasn't an entirely selfless person, but he cares far too much about his own people.
Previously, his focus was entirely on developing spells to suppress the recoil of teria's skill. After that matter was no longer urgent, his focus shifted to the Hera Familia.
Even though he had no real connection with the Hera familia, and his only link to them was teria, he still pushed himself for their sake.
She saw all of this, his relentless efforts made teria's heart ache with pain.
"Yes, even with all these advantages, I still can't be sure of the outco."
