Magic was a phenonon ford by altering that Mind and its elental nature through a fixed sequence.
Just like those chants that were used to direct Mind into forming a specific phenonon.
If adventurers could directly manipulate the form and elental nature of Mind, they could master true magic.
In Sion's research, magic possessed the dual characteristics of both matter and energy.
He was wondering, if he could induce a secondary qualitative change on this effect, could it then be applied to other uses?
For example, storing mories and knowledge through spells, and then transferring them on external objects through another spell.
Alternatively, he could absorb the properties of external matter, transforming them into mory and knowledge to pass through.

Converting physical matter into energy, in a sense, couldn't this be considered a form of alchemy?
"In a sense, does elentalization count as one of these applications?" Sion muttered.
He felt that elentalization could indeed be achieved through this theory.

The best approach would be to manifest the spell through falna.
However, Sion wasn't sure about the magic he would get after becoming an adventurer.
He needed to manifest a spell capable of completely curing the twins terminal illness.
Before receiving the falna, the twins suffered from an incurable disease. They thought they could cure it by becoming adventurers, but unexpectedly, the illness mutated into a skill.
With the powerful vitality of an adventurer sustaining them, it was manageable. But if their falna were ever sealed, their condition would instantly deteriorate.
Simply suppressing the symptoms wasn't a foolproof plan. The optimal solution was to awaken a magic capable enough to cure them.
"I just don't have falna." Sion sighed helplessly. "Forget it, I'll put the issue aside for now."
Right now, his primary focus was on helping Alfia.
As his imagination ran wild, he quickly conceptualized a spell series that rivaled his spiral magic.
In Sion's current categorization, it represented the absolute pinnacle of patterned orderly Mind manipulation, standing in direct contrast to the erratic nature of spiral spells.
That was, the AT Field.
"To think I actually forgot about this ability, what a blunder." Sion smacked his forehead and sighed.

The AT Field, also known as the Absolute terror field, was an absolute barrier that completely separated one's ego and self from the objective world.
Every living creature possessed an AT Field. By supplying it with energy, the range of this matter field could be expanded.
Distributing free floating spiritual matter within this space created an absolute domain on the outside of the physical body.
An AT Field was a phase shifting space.
The spiritual particles within this space were in constant motion, shifting the overall phase of the absolute domain to completely neutralize and consu external attacks.
Setting aside the concept of spiritual matter, abilities involving the transformation between the physical and the spiritual were far beyond what Sion could currently achieve.
"I can use its underlying principles as a prototype to engineer a brand new spell."
It wouldn't be a true AT Field, but an independent phase shifting magic isolated directly from the AT Field's defensive chanisms!
The AT Field mitigated force through phase shifting. Even if he couldn't generate spiritual matter, he could still construct a similar elental barrier.
This phase shifting magic would be in a constant state of flux. It was vastly more complex than his current shield spells, like the breastplate of earth.
