The moonlight, like liquid silver, washed over the Cloud Sea. Lin Qianyan sat alone at the ship's prow, a delicate jade cup in her hand. The clear wine within rippled gently, reflecting her sowhat lonely expression.

She took a delicate sip. The wine's fragrance filled her senses, but it could do little to dispel the loneliness in her heart.

Every so often, she would tilt her head, her gaze passing through the thin layer of clouds to look toward the other side.

There, at the far edge of the clouds, was Pei Yuhang's Spiritual Ship.

The bedroom on the ship was brightly lit, and through the thin clouds, she could faintly make out the flickering play of light and shadow within the window.

'What is Brother Pei doing right now?'

A faint lancholy stirred in Lin Qianyan's heart, her eyes revealing a mix of confusion and longing.

Her fingers unconsciously traced the rim of the jade cup, their tips feeling slightly cool.

She recalled Brother Pei ntioning that he would be staying in the sa room as Yueqiu tonight to suppress so sort of curse for her.

'But why does my heart feel so uneasy?'

'Am I envious of Yueqiu?'

'Envious that she gets to spend more ti with Brother Pei than I do. Envious that she's making more mories with him than I have.'

But—

'In the end, Yueqiu and Brother Pei just have a master-disciple relationship.'

'Honestly, why am I even having such strange thoughts? If I should be worried about anyone, it ought to be Sister Ye.'

'I'm so lost in my own jealousy, getting envious of a junior... '

Lin Qianyan sighed softly. She raised the jade cup again and took a small sip. The liquor slid down her throat, bringing a trace of warmth, but it failed to warm her heart.

...

While Lin Qianyan was lonely, drinking under the moon, things were still heating up over with her "ex-husband," the Peng Sword Immortal.

"Master, I love you, love you, love you... love yoooou~!!"

Qing Yueqiu's crimson eyes glistened, brimming with a fiery passion that seed intense enough to lt Pei Yuhang completely within her gaze.

She stretched out her slender, jade-white arms, wrapping them around Pei Yuhang's neck and clinging to him like an octopus.

No matter how he shifted, she wouldn't let go.

"Yueqiu, you've said that a thousand tis already. I know you love the most," Pei Yuhang said, caught between laughter and exasperation. His voice was filled with affection as his fingers combed through the silver hair of the girl in his arms, as if pacifying a mischievous kitten.

"But Master, when it cos to loving you, I could say it ten thousand tis and never get tired of it~"

Qing Yueqiu nuzzled his cheek, the corners of her lips turning up in a playful, coquettish smile.

Her warm breath whispered past Pei Yuhang's ear, a silent testant to her deep affection.

A long mont later, they fell back onto the bed, still wrapped in an embrace.

Qing Yueqiu gently rested her head on Pei Yuhang's shoulder, her soft hair spilling across his neck, carrying a faint, clean scent.

Her voice was as soft as the wind, tinged with a coquettish plea. "Master, won't you teach so other positions for cultivating the Great Dao~?"

Pei Yuhang looked down at her. The young woman's cheeks were faintly flushed, and her eyes sparkled with anticipation.

His heart stirred, but he hesitated, asking softly, "Does Yueqiu wish to learn more new knowledge from her master?"

Qing Yueqiu blinked, her long lashes fluttering like a butterfly's wings. A playful smile touched her lips. "Of course! Don't you want to teach , Master?"

Pei Yuhang frowned slightly, a hint of concern in his voice. "Yueqiu, are you sure you can continue? Don't push yourself too hard..."

He knew this was his head disciple's first ti cultivating the Yin Yang Dao, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of tenderness, worried that it might be too much for her and leave her with a bad mory.

However, Qing Yueqiu just tilted her head. A mischievous glint flashed in her eyes, and her tone beca teasing.

"Tired? What are you talking about, Master? Weren't we just warming up?"

She paused, a knowing smile suddenly gracing her features. Her voice was light and airy, yet it held a hint of provocation.

"Surely Mistress doesn't finish so... simply every ti?"

Upon hearing this, Pei Yuhang's expression stiffened, and a faint blush crept up to the tips of his ears.

He cleared his throat, trying to hide his embarrassnt. "O-Of course not!

What are you thinking, you silly girl? How many years has Liyuan been cultivating? And how many have you?

You've only just set foot on the path of the Yin Yang Dao, yet you want to compare yourself to Liyuan? Aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself!"

Hearing this, Qing Yueqiu's brow furrowed slightly, and a defiant glint flashed in her crimson eyes.

She suddenly pushed herself up, bracing her hands on Pei Yuhang's chest. She looked down at him, her eyes burning with a competitive fire.

"Master, I *will* surpass Mistress!" Her voice was firm and stubborn, filled with unshakeable resolve. "I'll make it so I'm the only one you ever see!"

Pei Yuhang was taken aback by her sudden movent. His throat bobbed unconsciously as he sighed to himself, 'To be honest, you've already surpassed Liyuan... '

But he didn't say it out loud, perhaps out of respect for Liyuan, or perhaps because he didn't want Qing Yueqiu to get ahead of herself.

Pei Yuhang sighed, his tone a mixture of resignation and affection. "Alright, Yueqiu. I'm pleased you have the ambition to surpass Liyuan.

But there's no need to push yourself so hard tonight. After all, this is your first ti exploring the mysteries of Yin and Yang..."

But Qing Yueqiu refused to back down, her tone excited and stubborn. "I'm not pushing myself! I can keep going!"

Looking at her obstinate expression, Pei Yuhang said with a helpless sigh, "Alright. Since my stubborn disciple is so 'eager to learn,' then Master will teach you a little more."

At his words, a triumphant smile blood on Qing Yueqiu's lips.

She leaned down, her lips close to Pei Yuhang's ear, and her voice was as soft as a feather. "Then you'd better teach properly, Master~"

Her playful tone made his heart skip a beat, and the blush on his ears deepened.

He shook his head in resignation, but couldn't suppress the flicker of anticipation that rose within him.

At Qing Yueqiu's insistence, Pei Yuhang had no choice but to agree to "guide" her through a second round of exploring the Great Dao.

The young woman was a diligent and eager student, and her body was exceptionally resilient. After Pei Yuhang had personally "taught" her a second ti, she clamored to learn a third ti, then a fourth...

The "learning" talent Qing Yueqiu displayed surpassed even that of Shang Miaoyan, the "technically-skilled prodigy."

For a ti, Pei Yuhang found himself completely imrsed in his teaching, his ears filled with the sounds of the young woman's surprised and joyful laughter whenever she made a new discovery.

...

While things were heating up for Pei Yuhang, Lin Qianyan had already lost count of how many lonely glasses of wine she'd drunk to drown her sorrows.

Perhaps because her Cultivation was too high, she found it difficult to get drunk even without using Spiritual Qi to counteract the alcohol.

But if she couldn't get drunk, she couldn't forget Pei Yuhang's cold rejection, couldn't forget the distance he deliberately kept between them.

Drunk!

Only when her body was drunk could her heart feel even a little bit free!

No longer satisfied with sipping elegantly from a small cup, Lin Qianyan cast aside all the etiquette of a Fairy she had learned in the Jade Pool Sacred Land. Unrestrained, she raised jug after jug of wine and drank them dry!

She tilted her head back slightly, her long, fair neck as graceful as a swan's. The moonlight spilled onto her skin, coating it in a silvery sheen.

She raised the jug high, tilting it so the silvery wine poured out like a waterfall, shimring under the moonlight.

The wine flowed past her red lips and into her mouth. Her throat worked with soft swallows, an act of wild abandon that couldn't hide her profound loneliness.

After finishing the wine, Lin Qianyan casually tossed the jug behind her. The space at her feet was now completely covered in empty jugs, leaving not even a place to stand.

Gradually, Lin Qianyan finally beca drunk. She could cast off the burden of her Saintess and Fairy etiquette and just be herself.

"Pei Yuhang, *hic*... you giant scumbag!"

"You were the one who proposed to first, you bastard! And after you proposed, you got lured away by two vixens promising you the world with cultivation, and you just scurried right off!

You even promised you'd co back, that you'd help achieve immortality too! Pah~!"

As she spoke, Lin Qianyan looked toward Pei Yuhang's Spiritual Ship and spat in its direction.

"You stinking scumbag! We weren't even properly married, and you went and built a grave for ! You told everyone I was dead so you could find another beautiful Dao Companion with a clear conscience, didn't you!!"

"Stinking scumbag! Stinking scumbag! Stinking scumbag, stinking scu-scu-scu-scumbag—!!"

She repeated the words over and over, her voice growing quieter until she was just muttering to herself.

Tears stread from Lin Qianyan's eyes, sliding down her cheeks and dampening the front of her robes.

"You've been tricking since we were children... You'd trick out of my toys, out of my snacks, and when we grew up, you tricked with my own heart!"

Her shoulders trembled slightly, making her seem incredibly fragile. Gone was the noble and dignified Jade Pool Saintess of old. In this mont, she was just an ordinary woman with a broken heart.

"What's the use of this Saintess title? What's the use of my Void Refining Realm strength? It's not like I can just pin you down and force myself on you!

But if I forced you, you'd just resent ... I'm willing to respect your wishes, but you're always hurting !

Pei Yuhang, I'm even willing to be a lesser wife, and you still refuse! I'm willing to be with you without any official title, and you still refuse!

You've never been willing to accept , so what's the use of all this power I've attained!"

"You giant scumbag, it would've been better if you'd been squeezed dry by those wicked won from the Yin Yang Sacred Land! At least then you wouldn't be alive to keep breaking my heart~!"

After crying herself to exhaustion, Lin Qianyan wiped the tears from her face and muttered,

"No way. Why should I be here suffering alone while you're over there sleeping soundly! I'm going to make you listen to my drunken tantrum!"

Lin Qianyan's fists clenched, a stubborn glint in her eyes. She fiercely wiped the tears from her face, her expression obstinate as she picked up her Transmission Token and began to send Pei Yuhang a ssage.

"Pei Yuhang, let's see if you dare to answer this. If you don't, I... I... I'll ignore you tomorrow!"

...

BZZZT— BZZZT—

Pei Yuhang's Transmission Token vibrated incessantly on the rumpled bedsheets.

But at that mont, the bedroom was empty.

No one knew of the lonely Transmission Token, nor of the lonely soul on the other end of its call.

The insatiable, silver-haired girl, now filled with a thirst for knowledge, was pulling Pei Yuhang to other parts of the Spiritual Ship to unlock new "teaching scenarios."

After all, she'd had a hard enough ti getting rid of Ji Xichan; she was determined to enjoy this perfect world for two with her master.

For her, this was one of the most wonderful nights of her life.

As for the feelings of others, she neither knew nor cared.

At this mont, Qing Yueqiu was simply and greedily focused on one thing: possessing Pei Yuhang completely.
