After Shang Miaoyan left, Ye Liyuan sat alone in her empty room.
She lowered her gaze to the teacup before her. The tea had gone completely cold, its surface reflecting her sowhat vacant eyes.
'It's so lonely by myself... When will Ah Han co back?'
After a long mont, she sighed softly. Her slender fingers retrieved a Transmission Token from her sleeve, the tips trembling with a hint of anticipation.
"Ah Han, I'm so lonely by myself. When can you co back and keep company?" she murmured, her voice soft with an almost imperceptible hint of grievance.
HUMMM—
The Transmission Token trembled lightly and began to glow.
"Liyuan, how much do you miss ?"
'He replied!'
Ye Liyuan's eyes lit up. Her once-dull gaze instantly sparkled like stars, and the corners of her lips unconsciously lifted into a sweet smile.
Her voice held a hint of playful pouting as she chuckled softly. "In any case, I miss you more than you miss !"
The Transmission Token vibrated again.

Fairy Ye was both incensed and amused. Rembering the ridiculous outfit Pei Yuhang wanted her to wear, a scorching
crimson blush spread from her cheeks all the way down her neck, even tinting the small patch of skin visible above her collar.
"Ah Han, how dare you bring this up again! Tell , where did you even find that... that kind of shaless outfit!"
"What's so shaless about it?"
"That bunny... the bunny tail! I thought it was sothing you tied onto the skirt, which is why I agreed to wear it for you in the first place!
But who knew that the tail... the tail connects to your body!"
Ye Liyuan's voice was a mixture of sha and vexation. The re thought of the wicked grin Pei Yuhang probably had on his face on the other end of the Transmission Token made her pretty face flush even redder.

There, before the carved wooden door, a White-clothed Sword Immortal was leaning against the fra. He toyed with a lustrous Sound Recording Stone in his long fingers, a gentle smile playing on his lips.
"Liyuan, I'm back."
"Ah Han!"
Ye Liyuan cried out in surprise, then blushed so hard that even her neck turned a faint shade of pink.
"You jerk... you're teasing again!"
Faced with his Dao Companion's playful scolding, Pei Yuhang simply chuckled, walked over, and gently embraced his Dao Companion.
"Liyuan, I missed you so much, too."
Pei Yuhang buried his face in her hair, which slled of the elegant fragrance of callias, and spoke softly.
As Ye Liyuan felt Pei Yuhang's familiar embrace, a sense of unreality washed over her.
Happiness had co so suddenly that she could hardly believe it.
She pinched Pei Yuhang's ear and whispered:
"Xiaoxiao, you listened to Ah Han and disguised yourself as him to tease , didn't you."
Pei Yuhang didn't know whether to laugh or cry at her words.
"I really am your Ah Han, the genuine article!"
"Xiaoxiao! If you keep this up, I'm going to get angry! Stop listening to your master and teasing . Hurry up and dispel the transformation Magic!"
Faced with his stubborn Dao Companion, Pei Yuhang decided he had to reassert his husbandly authority.
He swept Ye Liyuan up into his arms, earning a playfully indignant cry from Fairy Ye.

Pei Yuhang carried Ye Liyuan toward the bed. In response, Fairy Ye's eyes simply grew misty, and she found she had little will to struggle.

As she spoke, Shang Miaoyan glanced at the slightly disheveled Ye Liyuan on the bed and chuckled softly. "Oh~ So Palace Master Pei wanted to give Sister Liyuan a surprise. How romantic."
Ye Liyuan was mortified. She gave Pei Yuhang a light push. "Ah Han, go get a cup of the freshly picked Spirit Tea."
Pei Yuhang nodded. As he got up and walked past Shang Miaoyan, he spoke softly with a touch of indifference:
"Drama queen."
Shang Miaoyan's expression remained calm, her face still adorned with a perfectly asured smile.
