Unexpectedly, this wave of Xuan Guang surged with unfathomable might. With a ripping sound, it severed half of his Xuan Guang Blood Hand. Li Weide felt a sharp pang in his heart, blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, and he stumbled backward in the air, his expression drastically changing.

Focusing his gaze, he found the figure standing before him was none other than the junior he had been relentlessly pursuing!

Yet at this mont, Zhang Yan’s eyes flashed with electric brilliance, and above his head surged a cloud of two colors spanning over twenty zhang, akin to fire and light. Its form blazed fiercely, its sound resonated sharply. Observing from a close distance, an overwhelming, scorching heat surged forth, montarily halting one’s breath.

Li Weide’s face revealed a mixture of shock, and he involuntarily exclaid, "Xuan... Xuan Guang?"

Clearly a re Ming Qi cultivator, how had he advanced in the blink of an eye to a Xuan Guang Realm cultivator of the sa cultivation level as himself?

Zhang Yan’s chest surged with indescribable exhilaration. He yearned to test the power of this Xuan Guang, and the Blood Essence Sect cultivator before him was the perfect candidate for this trial. Having been pursued for days, this was the ideal opportunity to vent his pent-up frustrations!

Thus, he discarded the idea of wielding his magic treasure sword ball. With a single thought, the vast and surging Xuan Guang above his head unfurled forward, cascading like a mighty waterfall, sweeping toward Li Weide’s hovering form.

Confronted by the piercing and fiery aura, Li Weide felt his skin ache as if splitting apart and his eyes sting as if from needles, causing him to retreat hastily. Raising his hands instinctively to shield his eyes, a blood-red hand materialized above his head and attempted to fend off the attack. Yet with a single grind, not only was it unable to ward off the assault, but the blood-red hand was worn away by the glow of golden fire, losing a significant portion.

With his Xuan Guang intertwined with his lifeblood, the grinding of the blood-red hand translated to a tearing pain deep within him. Li Weide let out a howl, spurting several mouthfuls of fresh blood. Overwheld with shock and rage, he thought, "Impossible! He just now ford his Xuan Guang, how could it be so formidable?"

If the previous loss was due to Zhang Yan’s sudden attack, this ti the confrontation of Xuan Guang was nakedly brutal, with no pretense involved. Clearly at a disadvantage, he imdiately realized direct confrontation was a losing tactic. Leaning back, he bit through the pain, withdrew a gray-white Essence Bracelet from his sleeve, and hurled it at Zhang Yan with an angry shout: "Junior! How dare you be so arrogant!"

The Essence Bracelet flew forth, instantly enlarging by a circle. As it tore through the air, it emitted deep and muffled sounds, carrying imnse weight. The rotation stirred a rumbling force as it hurtled straight for Zhang Yan’s head.

Zhang Yan had prepared to summon his magic treasure to counter the attack, but a thought occurred to him: "It is said that Xuan Guang ford from the Taiyin Golden Book can rival Flying Sword magic treasures. Could it be true?"

Pausing mid-action, his hand froze within his sleeve, and with a turn of his thought, the fiery and fierce golden fire Xuan Guang above his head rose to et the threat. With a single sweep, the Essence Bracelet was engulfed, producing sounds that sent chills down one’s spine, as the golden wind and fierce fire ground against the bracelet relentlessly.

In re monts, the Xuan Guang retracted, and the Essence Bracelet was completely obliterated, leaving not even a speck of residue!

Staring at the scene, Li Weide was dumbstruck, disbelief etched into his features. A cold terror seized his heart, "What superior cultivation technique has he mastered? For his Xuan Guang to possess such overwhelming power upon formation? Continuing to fight him would be sheer folly!"

This Xuan Guang had fully unleashed the combined might of golden fire and wind to its pinnacle. In battle, what need was there for operating thods? A re sweep sufficed to eliminate all resistance. Unless the opponent were a cultivator of the Third Realm Xuan Guang, who had refined their Xuan Guang into unity, transforming spirit into true force, who could possibly withstand it?

Realizing this, he lost all will to fight, not daring to linger for even a mont longer. Engulfing himself in his Xuan Guang, he vanished in a flash, fleeing far away.

Zhang Yan’s face danced with a touch of mockery. Reflecting briefly, he too refrained from deploying his Dragon Tooth Flying Boat. With his golden-red brilliance descending to envelop him, the space brimd with fiery vigor and scattered golden winds. A radiant streak arced forth like a rainbow, chasing after Li Weide’s retreating figure.

With the Xuan Guang protecting his flight, Zhang Yan’s tunneling speed now vastly surpassed that of the Ming Qi stage. His movents were seamless, maneuvering through the heavens with ease. A sensation of unrestricted freedom flowed within him, as though the vast realms lay open to his whims.

Li Weide’s fleeing speed ultimately proved inadequate. Despite Zhang Yan not exerting his full strength, he caught up within re monts. Smiling faintly, Zhang Yan sped up his tunneling light further, intercepting Li Weide with swift precision.

His Xuan Guang carelessly swept downwards, enveloping Li Weide head-on. The latter scread in dread, fully aware that Zhang Yan, relying on the superior power of his Xuan Guang, was overpowering him completely, yet he could do nothing but grit his teeth and muster his Xuan Guang to shield himself.

Zhang Yan’s Xuan Guang did not strike in a singular sweep. Instead, it cascaded left and right, repeatedly battering Li Weide’s blood-colored light, tearing it into a fragnted and ragged state.

With each tear, Li Weide’s complexion paled a degree, and fresh blood continued to seep from the corners of his mouth. Little did he know, Zhang Yan was using him as a test subject for his newly ascended Xuan Guang power, deliberately avoiding a fatal strike. Misunderstanding Zhang Yan’s actions, Li Weide believed himself to be rely toyed with and humiliated.

Despair and fury combined, a glint of manic determination glead in Li Weide’s eyes. Roaring fiercely, he unleashed everything he had. The seventeen remaining Blood Worms surged forth, his entire body transforming into a blood shadow as he launched himself directly toward Zhang Yan.

From a distance, it appeared as though a scattered blood cloud rushed toward a blazing golden firelight source — a sight not unlike moths plunging into flas.

Zhang Yan let out a cold snort, saying, "Since you’ve sought your end, let grant you your wish."

With a sweep of his sleeve, a massive wave of golden fire Xuan Guang erupted, engulfing all within ten zhang ahead.

When the Xuan Guang receded, the surroundings beca void, completely swept clean. No traces of flesh, bone, flying sword, or Daoist robe remained — everything had been ground into oblivion without a shred left behind.
