At the sa ti, he shouted loudly, "Fellow mbers of the sect, assist !"
Upon hearing this, Gongyang Sheng and the other four imdiately began to wield their Mana.
This bag was originally not small, but at this mont, it suddenly expanded to the size of a mountain. When it descended, the heavens and earth seed to darken, and gazing upward, the inside of the bag was deep and bottomless, vast and far-reaching, as if it could envelop the entire Luqi Mountain.
Zhang Yan had been alert all along, and would not allow it to fall upon him. He imdiately commanded the green light around him to soar upwards to et it.
With the Mana of the five mbers of the Lie Xuan Sect combined, it far surpassed Zhang Yan alone. At this mont, as they clashed head-on, the bag continuously pressed downward, bit by bit consuming the green light.
Yet Zhang Yan was not anxious, and according to this trajectory, it would take at least an hour to subdue him. By then, the Dharma Treasure below would have already erged, leaving him without worries and free to battle.
Gongyang Sheng watched the battle unfold, his eyes flickering, and the third Gang Cloud above him suddenly fluctuated in size, seemingly preparing for so move.
Within each of his Gang Clouds resided a Dharma Treasure, making it convenient for daily nurturing. The Jade Ruyi and Black Iron Ruler had already been used, and within the final Gang Cloud, the treasure concealed was a White Wood Hairpin, made from White Cang Wood and refined by skilled hands. He had nurtured it for hundreds of years, yet it had not been utilized.
His eyes scanned the scene, searching for the right mont to strike, but each ti his hand rose, it fell back down. A lingering feeling in his heart suggested that this move would not yield success.
He glanced a few more tis, sensing the changes below, and thought to himself, "It seems that treasure is about to be completed. When it erges, Zhang Daoist will undoubtedly be distracted, and then it won’t be too late to strike."
He looked around, signaled to his fellow sect mbers nearby with a nod, and hinted at his intention to push forward with his hand, then pointed to the Gang Cloud above him. This indicated that when the ti ca, his fellow sect mbers should exert their power collectively to restrain Zhang Yan, while he made a covert attack.
The four n understood that he had a Dharma Treasure yet to be used, and seeing his actions, they imdiately comprehended. They nodded in acknowledgnt.
Zhang Yan, on his end, sensed the furnace smoke rising intensely from below, knowing the treasure was near ergence.
However, the closer it ca to the critical mont, the more vigilant he beca, his eyes sharp like knives, even colder and more piercing.
He understood clearly that at such critical tis, every mont was vital, and complacency was not an option.
When the Dharma Treasure erged, those from the Lie Xuan Sect would certainly intervene, not allowing him to obtain the treasure easily.
Both sides had calculations in their minds, and the battlefield was in a temporary stalemate.
Another incense stick of ti passed, when suddenly, with a thunderous roar from the Earth Fire Sky Furnace below, it was as if Heavenly Thunder exploded by the ear, sounding like mountains collapsing and the earth splitting. The reverberation shook all, even those on Double Moon Peak five hundred miles away heard a buzzing in their ears, their heads swelling.
Zhang Yan seed montarily entranced by the sound, his head slightly turned.
A flash of brilliance appeared in Gongyang Sheng’s eyes.
This is the mont!
Pointing his finger, a white light shot from the Gang Cloud above him like an arrow, swiftly targeting Zhang Yan!
Although Zhang Yan was prepared, he hadn’t expected this strike to co so quickly. Just as he was about to unleash the Treasure Clothes Radiance to withstand it, sothing below the Earth Fire Sky Pit stirred briefly, then suddenly vanished, and in a blink, appeared beside Zhang Yan, blocking the attack!
The Dharma Treasure sensed its master’s peril and jumped out on its own to protect him!
With a sharp "zip", the White Wood Hairpin pierced through the object in one go.
Zhang Yan hadn’t anticipated that the newly refined Dharma Treasure would possess the ability to traverse the void. He was pleasantly surprised, yet couldn’t help but feel puzzled.
This Dharma Treasure was refined from Great Demon Relics, surely it wouldn’t be impeded by the Jade hairpin, yet it was pierced?
While contemplating, an intense sensation of connected Heart and Spirit surged within him, leaving him astonished. Upon looking at the Dharma Treasure again, the reasons behind it beca clear.
He couldn’t help but laugh heartily, giving a bow to Gongyang Sheng, saying, "Thank you, fellow Daoist, for aiding my treasure in piercing through the Qi Acupoint!"
Upon hearing this, Gongyang Sheng was initially puzzled, then his expression turned dark and ugly, clearly realizing what had happened. His body shook, feeling his chest churn with blood and Qi, nearly causing him to cough up blood.
When a Dharma Treasure erges, a Dharma Needle must pierce the prepared acupoint, allowing it to take in spiritual breath, sense temperature, and exchange Qi chanism with the heavens and earth.
However, it was uncertain if it was due to the high quality of Treasure Materials used for the Dharma Treasure or so other reason, but its texture proved extrely tough. The two refining below, after all, with only Hua Dan Cultivation, could not pierce through the Qi Acupoint despite their efforts, unable to complete this final step.
Originally Zhang Yan, outside, could have called upon him to act, but he was engaged in battle and had no ti to spare.
Liang Changgong and Wei Shudan were also sweating nervously; if they missed the mont, the treasure would ultimately beco a failed artifact, and its grade would be significantly reduced, wasting all their prior labor.
As they wandered disoriented, who could have expected the treasure to fly out to protect its master, using Gongyang Sheng’s White Wood Hairpin aid at Zhang Yan to pierce the spiritual acupoint?
Once the acupoint was open, the treasure was able to sense the Heaven and Earth Spirit chanism, rging internally and externally, and in an instant, beca a Supre Treasure!
Zhang Yan extended his hand, and the treasure landed in his palm automatically. Taking a closer look, it resembled a delicate and soft golden Shell Leaf, no larger than a baby’s palm, with clear textures and a flow of brilliant colors and Cloud Light, extrely exquisite and delightful.
This treasure, just entering the world, was filled with joy and cheer, impatiently conveying to him a sense of lively elation.
Zhang Yan smiled slightly; Liang and Wei truly lived up to their reputation as masters.
He hadn’t anticipated that upon ergence, the treasure would already be a Spirit Communicating Profound Artifact, capable of autonomously Protecting its Master and averting disaster. If nurtured further within one’s acupoints or Gang Clouds, there was a chance of eventually cultivating a True Spirit, achieving True Artifact status!
