After Master Cheng said these few sentences, his figure faded even more, so he hastened his speech a bit and said, "Previously, I summoned you here by spell, consuming too much Primordial Qi, thus I am not in a position to speak much, but I must convey one more thing."

Zhang Yan said, "Please speak, True Master."

Master Cheng’s expression beca solemn, and he very earnestly advised, "Fellow Daoist, as you journey overseas, it is best if nothing unexpected occurs. But if unforeseen changes happen, rember not to protect , you must leave early on your own."

Zhang Yan asked in surprise, "What kind of unexpected changes? Could the True Master clarify?"

Master Cheng rely shook his head slightly and did not speak further, his figure gradually dissipating from the Ice Mirror.

Zhang Yan pondered briefly, seemingly deep in thought. He reached out, took the Ice Mirror, and placed it into his Sleeve Bag. Then, he leaped into the air, a streak of golden rainbow, heading towards the Extre Sky, and upon confirming the direction, he fully engaged his Escape Technique, speeding forth.

He traveled with the Gang Wind, reaching a previously unattained speed. Just a month later, he had passed over two continents and arrived at the shores of the East Sea, observing from afar the boundless blue waves and the spray splashing, continuously hitting the rocky coast.

Just as he was about to head to the outer sea, he paused, called out, "Uncle, are you there?"

After a while, the Heroic Festival Fish Drum lazily erged, yawning, "What does my nephew want by calling ?"

He glanced around, "Eh," he exclaid, "Is this the East Sea? How did you get here, nephew?"

After several Refinings of the Green Sun Gang Spirit, the Heroic Festival Fish Drum had spent his days in slumber, rarely appearing, seeming to replenish his Primordial Qi, and knew nothing of the outside world.

Zhang Yan recounted the story with a smile and concluded, "This trip, nephew seeks to deliver Master Cheng’s remains to the East Sea. If it’s inconvenient for Uncle, you may return to the sect first."

The Yu Gu True Spirit’s eyes flickered, waving his hands repeatedly, "Why rush away, nephew? It’s rare for to be out; once back, I’ll be Sacrificially Refined by Qin Mobai again. Who knows when I’ll be out again? Better to roam about with you for a few more days."

Hearing the grievance in his tone, Zhang Yan smiled faintly, "That would be fine. Just if I need Uncle’s assistance, I hope you won’t refuse."

The Yu Gu True Spirit patted his chest loudly and said, "Of course." Saying that, he yawned again, patted his mouth, and instructed, "I’ll take a nap first, but if you co across fine wine and beauties, nephew, don’t forget to call ..."

With that, before Zhang Yan could respond, he turned and disappeared into thin air.

Zhang Yan shook his head with a smile, once again soaring into the tunneling light, breaking through the Gang Cloud, heading east.

As ti passed indistinctly, suddenly, there was a stir within his sleeve, a swirling of energy, as if sothing was eager to burst out.

With a thought, he stopped himself, shook his sleeve, and out rolled a green gourd.

As soon as this item erged, it exploded with a bang, shattering into pieces, and then a dark cloud whooshed out from it.

Zhang Yan looked closely and found that the dark cloud was composed of thousands of cocoons, which split open one after another as they reached the sky, letting out Six-winged Strange Insects. Their wing mbranes were transparent with water droplets, shining in rainbow colors under the scorching sun.

Among them, one was particularly large. Upon seeing the sunlight, it approached Zhang Yan, chirping warmly as if expressing affection.

Zhang Yan recognized it as the Blood Line Golden Worm that willingly acknowledged him as its master that day. After devouring a few Lie Xuan Sect disciples’ bodies, it fell into a deep sleep and had been inactive for over thirty years, so he had long forgotten about it. Unexpectedly, it awakened now and produced so many offspring.

As that insect made noises, the swarm squealed in unison, and through a shared bond, Zhang Yan realized they were starving but dared not leave without his command to hunt for food.

Initially, within his True Light, he had kept so corpses of Lie Xuan Sect elders, but they were long absorbed by the Demon Scroll, leaving him nothing to feed them now.

Thinking for a mont, he cast a spell, descended from the cloud to the sea surface, circled with the wind, and with a flick of his hand, a massive wave surged, a towering water column rose, engulfing countless Water Clan. He then said, "Go ahead."

The Blood Worms, already impatient, sward up like locusts upon his command, devouring the Water Clan whole in an instant.

After performing a few more spells similarly, he suddenly noticed the sea ahead surging, with a person treading the waves toward him.

This person appeared to be around twenty, an impressive scholar in appearance, but with a protrusion on his forehead, bright red as if an antenna.

The person shouted, "Which Daoist is this? Do you not know this is under the jurisdiction of my Bijiao Prefecture, and you dare slaughter the Water Clan? Do you wish to live no more?"

Zhang Yan frowned, knowing that the forces over the East Sea were many and varied, with so cultivation not weak. Though not afraid, he intended to avoid unnecessary provocation, hence he avoided capturing the accomplished spirit monsters, only targeting ordinary Water Clan.

Nonetheless, this person’s cultivation wasn’t high, but his tone was quite arrogant.

He had heard of the East Sea Barrier Reef Prefecture, which was one of the few ten-thousand-year-old families among the Demon Cultivators, with many clan mbers. Yet, given his current cultivation, he didn’t need to concern himself, so he coldly laughed, ignored it, and with a point of his finger, another water column rose.

Although the man could not discern Zhang Yan’s cultivation, used to domineering this sea region, he beca furious at Zhang Yan’s disregard, raised his hands forward, and instantly waves rolled higher and higher, quickly transforming into a massive wave over a hundred feet tall, rolling forward.

Zhang Yan sat quietly, casually glanced, then with a light slap of his hand, a vast yellow glow swept over, blocking out the sun like sand filling the sky, eting the wave with a boom, shattering it to pieces.
