"Your skirt is a little short..." Lynch sat on the sofa, holding a delicate wine glass in his hand. So people feel that it’s more comfortable to drink spirits from square glasses, while cocktails and other mixed alcoholic beverages are better suited to round glasses.
It’s said there’s a lot of nuances involved in this, but Lynch doesn’t really care about it. He just vaguely rembers that this is a thing, whether it’s true or not, he’s indifferent.
When a rich person does anything, people can find a thousand reasons for him doing it and why he must do it, which is different for poor people.
To poor people, right is right and wrong is wrong, with no allowance for even a hint of confusion.
Not far from him, a maid was bent over, cleaning. She was wearing a maid outfit that was currently in vogue but clearly leaned towards a more adult style. Her skirt was sowhat short, and as she bent over, Lynch could see her buttocks and a slightly red pimple on them.
Nowadays, only the most avant-garde won in Bail Federal dare to dress like this. They would disdainfully et those various glances and mock the n with a silent look that says, "I know you’re a lecher, and I know you’re fantasizing about my body."
But here, this maid was not such an avant-garde person.
Lynch’s comnt made the maid uneasily stand up, her skirt finally covered her buttocks and thighs. She turned to look at Lynch, very flustered.
Since last month, the community service company had begun continuously downsizing staff. Initially, it was drivers, as the residents here were no longer willing to go without a car as they used to, unwilling to drive themselves.
They would hire service company’s drivers for their daily travel, and so even employed personal drivers, caring little about the extra cost.
But as the economy declined, drivers were the first to be cut. People preferred saving on unnecessary expenses, choosing to drive themselves and calling it "experiencing the joy of driving," a perfect rationale to cover the current middle and upper-class predicant.
Then the gardeners and sanitation workers were cut, with one person doing the work of two or even three to save on expenses. The exploited workers did not resist since they at least had a job.
Now it was the maids’ turn. So residents had already declared bankruptcy; it seed unlikely anyone would take over their property soon. Furthermore, many full-ti maids transitioned to hourly work, leading the service company to have many idle maids.
To cut costs, the company decided to reduce about one-third of the maids, and if surplus labor remained, they would continue cutting until satisfied.
At this mont, a maid’s fate entirely depended on their employer’s decision; if the residents had no specific need, these maids could find themselves packing up and leaving.
If so were willing to let them continue working, then they could stay and have a job.
The latter selection depended on those willing to sleep with a few company managers—so had already done so, with at least two or more company managers ending up in bed with them.
However, so chose another thod: sleeping with their employer.
Compared to ssing with company managers, sleeping with their employers was more acceptable to the maids, as it at least proved their allure.
Under the encouragent of colleagues and friends, this maid decided to sacrifice sothing to keep her job. More sadly, even her husband seed to know but remained silent about her choice.
But now, she felt uneasy because she couldn’t quite figure out Lynch. Her future relied entirely on Lynch’s decision, making her extrely nervous.
"You don’t need to seduce ..." Lynch tasted the liquor in the glass, worth over three hundred bucks. The amber hue allowed light to pass through, casting a golden glow on Lynch’s face, making him appear so pure.
Retracting his gaze from the glass, "It might be inappropriate for to say this, but I won’t change my attitude and principles just because I maintain an improper relationship with a woman. Instead of considering how to strip in front of , think about how to satisfy with your work, understand?" Lynch put the glass back on the table, his eyes fixed on the maid, gently wiping the inside edge of the coffee table.
As his finger wiped further, the maid’s breathing nearly ceased entirely!
This was the underside of the table, not easy to clean, nor did anyone usually notice it, but its cleanliness mattered significantly.
This was one of Lynch’s personal experiences. He once encountered an interesting client with a habit, or obsession, who liked to prop his legs against the table’s edge.
After signing so docunts, as they stood to shake hands and exchange them, they noticed two prominent gray streaks on the client’s pants.
Not only were there dust, but also so cobweb-like things, quite displeasing.
Despite the client’s absence from this world, there might still be other issues and people. Lynch wasn’t soone who thought with his lower half; what he wanted was not complicated, just focused on his work, that’s all.
This wiping process was actually brief, but at the mont, ti elongated, a blink from Lynch appeared slow to the maid, her heartbeat thundering, giving her a dizzy sensation.
She didn’t even rember if she had cleaned the underside of the table or had it as clean as the top!
About two seconds later, Lynch glanced down, his fingertips spotlessly clean, not a spec of dust. His face kindly smiled, "See, it’s that simple. If you’re responsible for your work, I’m responsible for you!"
"You can inform the company manager that you’re staying here to work for , full-ti!"
The maid was instantly overjoyed, overwheld with excitent.
Her husband was already unemployed, the children needed schooling, requiring additional expenses. If she lost this job, she wouldn’t know what to do with her family!
"I really don’t know how to thank you, Mr. Lynch. Is there anything I can do for you?" The maid was excited, grateful, knowing Lynch was granting her a boon.
Lynch smiled, "Put on sothing appropriate, I don’t want visiting guests to think I’m that kind of person."
What kind of person was unclear, but everyone understood. The maid quickly changed into normal clothes, feeling much more relaxed.
Two days flew by, Lynch’s charity private equity fund successfully obtained this valuable opportunity from the mayor’s hands. City Hall officially announced the winning company’s proposal, not to silence critics, but to demonstrate their fairness.
Well, it seed like a joke; the over four million auction sum was first transferred to this charity private equity foundation. In Lynch’s proposal to City Hall, eighty-five percent of the over four million funds would be used for various dium-to-long-term investnts, while fifteen percent would care for eligible disabled widowed workers.
Since the fund wasn’t a one-ti compensation, to ensure it creates a lasting environnt for these people, managent is allowed to allocate part for investnt, but must guarantee an assurance or defense chanism.
Regardless of how managent uses the money, they must ensure eighty percent is spent on the cared-for group, a bottom line.
Mark did not hesitate to sign on behalf of the foundation’s managent. Sotis Mark was adorable, as long as there was a benefit, as long as there wasn’t too much risk, he was willing to act.
This fund kept fifteen percent on the books, with the rest invested in Lynch’s new spin-off company, purchasing a significant portion of stock, and increasing the company’s capital.
Of course, these operations were reasonable and legal, even if soone sued, it had no real significance; the procedures complied with the rules and laws of Bail Federal.
Even though more money was spent before, it ultimately returned, but even if it didn’t, Mr. Lynch was still a kind philanthropist, willing to bear social responsibility!
For example, yesterday morning’s newspaper covered this scenario, where Mr. Lynch greatly overspent, paying six tis the starting price for auction items, simply to fulfill the societal responsibility a young entrepreneur should shoulder.
"Facing reporters, Mr. Lynch appeared sowhat shy. Looking at his youthful three-quarters childish face, reporters had difficulty believing this ’big kid’ had done better than anyone."
"When reporters asked why he did this, he seriously told them he earned money with people’s help, and now was the ti to give back; he would do everything he could."
"Mr. Lynch also expressed philosophical words—wealth cos from people and ultimately returns to people!"
