In the second week of June every year, Bentley, a southern city in the Bail Federal, hosts a week-long fashion week.
There wasn’t such a saying before, but since a few years ago when people started holding sumr new product release events in Bentley, this trend and atmosphere gradually ford.
Those rushing here from all corners of the country, and even the world, absolutely don’t realize that the reason everyone clusters here to hold various fashion shows is actually quite simple, and that is to save money.
Hiring so models or even supermodels for a single fashion show is too expensive, but if many companies and individuals co together, the costs are significantly reduced.
Gradually, more and more people joined, the influence grew larger, and it spread out to beco an important festival in the fashion circle.
But it’s okay not to know this, anyway, these things are still far from ordinary people’s lives.
Lynch took two days of train travel to finally arrive here. Considering the various discomforts during long train journeys, he booked a private compartnt, but even after arriving, he still felt sowhat fatigued, suppressing his tiredness in the small space, the ntal exhaustion.
From the mont he got off the train, a sense of long-lost vitality appeared in him. Sothing rare drove him to a bar, where he had so drinks and then slept until the next morning after returning to the hotel.
The ringing of the bedside phone startled him awake from a deep sleep. Looking at the noisy phone, he sighed and picked up the receiver.
"You’re late, Lynch!" Severa’s sowhat angry voice ca through imdiately. They agreed to have breakfast together this morning and then go to Rella to see the latest designer collections for this year, and customize so accessories for the girl for the second half of the year.
For a poor person, as long as their current clothes haven’t beco worn enough to make them feel distinctly ashad or embarrassed, they won’t throw them away or buy new clothes.
Because they need to save money to cover so daily bills or set aside so for unexpected situations.
As for fashion and trends, they might just be so worthless, colorful, impractical things in their eyes.
This is a more common life attitude. In so respects, the lives of ordinary people are actually the mainstream because they are the majority.
But regardless of what the life attitudes of ordinary people are like, fashion remains fashion, trends remain trends, much like how technological advancent purely serves a small fraction of the population.
Fashion and trends themselves are not things the working class and commoner families need to concern themselves with.
An earring worth several hundred bucks might only be worn once or twice by its owner from its birth until it is forgotten. Ordinary people can’t do this; only the rich can. This is fashion, this is a trend.
Severa’s family gives her enough resources to enjoy these, and she was quite happy originally, but Lynch being late annoyed her.
This was the first ti that the other person she proactively arranged to et was late.
Everyone else had always been on ti, except for Lynch!
Lynch casually responded while getting up from the bed, took a shower, changed into so very plain clothes, and then went to the hotel restaurant.
Ten o’clock, a very peculiar ti.
If you say it’s too late, actually for the Federation people, before nine-thirty is still considered "morning," and ten o’clock is only half an hour away from nine-thirty, so it’s not necessarily too late.
But to say it’s early, it’s only two hours until noon, or twelve o’clock, it really isn’t early.
Taking an apple from the table as breakfast, Lynch walked over and sat by the girl’s side.
The girl looked at him and repeated what she had said before, "You’re late!"
Lynch shrugged his shoulders, "Yes, I’m late."
The girl widened her eyes at Lynch, she should have been furious. Lynch didn’t apologize to her like a gentleman, nor did he care about her feelings.
But strangely, the girl’s anger gradually faded, she even ca up with so excuses for Lynch, like "He must be really tired after taking the train for two days to accompany ," or "The hotel bed might have kept him up all night, it’s not his fault," or even "Honestly, the fact that he made ti to be with is already rare, I shouldn’t be so difficult."
In any case, she wasn’t angry anymore, then she stood up, took Lynch’s arm naturally, "Co on, don’t let those designers wait too long."
"They certainly won’t mind!" Lynch said sowhat muffled while chewing an apple.
Indeed, that was the case. They agreed to et at ten o’clock, but Severa and Lynch only showed up a little past ten forty. They should have been unhappy, yet the two Rella designers didn’t feel offended, but rather very honored.
Because Severa is Mr. Wardrick’s daughter, the girl had always tried to avoid such situations, but she could never really manage to.
"I heard you have so bold designs..."
The girl quickly got involved; Rella, known as a luxury brand in the Federation, naturally had high-end services. Actually, most high-end brands offer "high-end services," which aren’t available to ordinary custors.
Professional designers will tailor design products that match the image and temperant of distinguished guests, and the designed finished piece will be produced by hand only once, not mass-produced, ensuring the uniqueness of each high-end item.
As for those items that can be seen on the counter or in brochures, in the eyes of true top consurs, they are probably no different from the clothes and accessories sold on the roadside for ninety-nine cents apiece.
This is quite a long process, with two of Liber Top’s premier designers introducing their design concepts, even showcasing so works that remain only in their design books.
This year is special, as the Federation has moved away from past escapism and begun to integrate into the international environnt. This seemingly distant matter is actually silently influencing everyone’s life.
People might not notice that all skirts this year are sowhat shorter and bolder than in previous years.
Most safety shorts’ edges have been changed to lace trims, and so won’s underwear have broken all previous styles in color and shape, everything becoming bolder...
We have the courage to overco past fears of the world and integrate into it, surely we can also break so outdated concepts and make everything trendy.
Fashion is as distant as it is close, like politics.
Until noon, Severa’s discussion with the designers ended, and she ordered many little bits and pieces, all kinds of accessories.
The designers will continue to create and then send the final draft to Severa, and only after finalizing will it be handcrafted and custom-made, which is a very long process.
In just this over an hour ti, the girl spent over seventy thousand dollars, and this money is only for those side pieces—these could be described as side dishes, not the main course.
The head of Liber originally intended to invite both for a lunch together, they booked a very upscale private restaurant. Having Liber’s jewelry adorned on Mr. Wardrick’s daughter is, in a sense, more significant than advertising.
People believe in celebrities’ choices, just like how so stars and politicians have their personal doctors, and they more or less publicly announce that they have purchased private comrcial health insurance.
People always say they won’t be influenced by others when making important choices, yet they are influenced ti and ti again.
After lunch, starting in the afternoon, both were invited to attend three fashion shows, where all kinds of jaw-dropping things appeared on the catwalk, just like the thes not displayed in this fashion week: boldness and avant-garde.
Everyone’s face carried a very special expression, as if smiling at the beautiful understanding of this era.
Also so confusion, a kind of bewildered confusion.
On the fifth day of Bentley Fashion Week, a very special show that Lynch was quite concerned about began.
The host was a fairly well-known yet erging fashion brand from the Federation, which has always been a bit short of top tier, lacking depth, and not innovative enough, but this ti, they would completely change.
Lynch appeared very enthusiastic, which puzzled Severa sitting beside him, "Do you have any relationship with this company?", but she quickly denied this question.
Based on spending this ti with Lynch, he didn’t seem like the type to chase trends. His clothes appeared sowhat old-fashioned, overly steady and mature, lacking change. He wasn’t soone at fashion’s forefront.
"Maybe there’s a model you know in this show?"
The girl looked at him as if in so sort of... questioning, Lynch just smiled and explained, "I’m one of the shareholders of this brand, and today what you’ll see will break many people’s perceptions in so aspects!"
"I’m very looking forward to it!" The girl beca interested, "Can you reveal a little bit first?"
Lynch shook his head, naturally reserving the mystery until the end is better.
More or less everyone who should co is here after a few minutes, and those who don’t want to won’t appear either, the change in lighting also indicates the start of the event.
By convention, at this ti the brand ambassador or an important company figure should say a few words, but what people were t with were a few beast roars!
True beast roars, at the mont the lion’s roar sounded, the trendsetters on both sides of the runway changed their expressions, without needing to take arsenic, the ladies’ faces turned pale as snow, and so even stood up and ran outside.
Severa also tightly clutched Lynch’s hand, this pure higher food chain pressure petrifying everyone!
Lynch comforted her for a while, fortunately, people soon saw so cages containing lions and other ferocious beasts being pushed out from backstage.
These cages were placed at the back of the runway, like a backdrop.
Sotis to reflect the design concept of so fashion works, designers constantly change the backdrops to make the runway environnt more fitting for their design ideas.
But the entire Federation has never put wild beasts on stage!
The beasts in those cages looked at so many people below the stage, pacing anxiously inside, occasionally roaring, seemingly venting their emotions.
And the the of this show was "Wild"!
