The newly appointed mayor has already extended enough goodwill to these overseas investors, which also spurred everyone’s enthusiasm for investnt and their confidence in achieving economic gains here.

This is good for both sides, this is definitely not fictional; a large amount of investnt can bring regional prosperity, just like the previous Federation, where a flood of capital caused the economy to grow rapidly, as if riding a rocket never seen here before.

As for so social issues brought by investnt and so problems after the end of investnt returns, Lynch feels that these are actually not very important.

When people are on the brink of starvation, who cares if the food is clean — you must first eat to save your life, then consider how to eat clean food and how to get others to provide clean food.

Soon the people here discovered so changes compared to the past, a kind of positive change.

On the ruins, people hired for work began clearing the debris, which is quite different from the past.

In the past, they cleaned these ruins without pay, because the privileged class would tell them that serving the privileged was a blessing given to them, and it was not harm, nor should they ask for compensation, as that was shaful.

The privileged class would also kindly arrange so fierce people to watch them work, and if soone did not work seriously, they would get whipped or beaten.

But now, these things barely exist anymore, and those foreigners would hire them to do such work and are willing to pay a salary for it.

This is the first ti many Nagariel people have ever touched cash in their lives; it sounds incredible, but this is the true side of life here, and so people even shed tears when they received their own money.

This has also caused so new issues—the things the Nagariel Youth Party spoke about seem disconnected from real life!

The Nagariel Youth Party has already been identified as an illegal organization, though speaking of thoroughly eliminating them is not quite on the table.

Foreigners like Lynch could not possibly focus all their energy on helping the Nagariel governnt capture these "anti-governnt" organizations; this is rely an early characterization, then a raid when required, and letting them freely grow when not necessary.

The existence of the Nagariel Youth Party is not completely detrintal; they are like a magnet, gathering hidden people in society who are biased against foreigners and even extre individuals around them.

The enemy is quite evident.

Playing a cat-and-mouse ga with these people is clearly less effective than focusing on public propaganda and addressing the root of the Youth Party’s potential for growth.

mbers of the Youth Party think the foreigners are here to oppress, exploit, and plunder the wealth of the Nagariel people, but the current issue is, these foreigners not only aren’t taking anything from them, but they are paying them for their labor.

This completely opposite reality is confusing the people, because the facts are entirely contrary, and sotis they feel the Nagariel Youth Party is indeed as the governnt is claiming—just a group of malicious bad people.

Isn’t the roadside poster saying just that?

Anger can’t solve the problem of feeding a family, but work can!

Simple posters, simple words, have brought a lot of trouble to the Youth Party.

"The number of people attending gatherings in recent days isn’t many, and moreover...", the speaker glanced at the province’s leader sitting at the head, sowhat unsure how to continue, "I shouldn’t say this, but I suspect that we face potential risks of betrayal."

"These Federation foreigners are more cunning and deceitful than those before; they bought off many people with small favors. Those people will follow the foreigners for money and certainly betray our information for money!"

The short young man said nothing, maintaining silence. On the coffee table before them lay many posters of various colors, printed quite poorly, just an ordinary greaseproof paper with simple big character posters printed in oil ink.

If accidentally touched, the ink would fade, staining oneself, difficult to clean.

The content of these posters is so simple that even illiterates can understand their aning upon hearing soone read them once.

Slogans like "Work changes destiny, employnt creates future," "One person’s job feeds the whole family, a family’s work makes all wealthy," "To be rich, sleep less and work more."

This slogan content is easily understood; as long as a person’s intelligence is normal, even those uneducated can grasp its aning, creating an embarrassing situation for the Youth Party who had just opened the market.

Not long before, they had destroyed the rich class through violent ans, garnering much support, as they were the only ones in recent years who dared and succeeded in truly resisting—not just slogans, but real action, albeit with so tricks involved.

But in the blink of an eye, those surrounding them went to work, and for foreigners at that, making everyone feel like clowns.

The gaze of the short leader continuously rested on the posters on the coffee table; he couldn’t figure out what these foreigners wanted.

They are different from the foreigners of the past.

The past foreigners were extrely stingy, not spending money whenever possible, but Lynch and these Federation rchants spent generously, paid fully for many things deed unnecessary by locals.

For instance, buying land—such a deal in the past required no paynt at all; the rich could drive the poor away with a casual reason and take their land.

Just like Asir’s father, who wanted to expand his yard, found a reason to inform the neighbors next door, and instantly, the neighbors moved away, leaving the land they lived on for decades to Asir’s father and brother.

This related to Nagariel’s abundant land resources; the poor had little belongings, quickly settling elsewhere and carrying on without disputes over what were valueless lands to them.

Yet Federation rchants paid for it, possibly not much, just at or slightly below market rates, still a significant, incredible change.

They were far different from past foreigners, making Youth Party slogans useless soon after gaining fa.

After several minutes, he returned to his senses, shaking his head, "I don’t understand these people."

He looked at the firmly gathered Youth Party mbers around him, showing a serious expression, "I don’t understand these people; I can’t grasp their purpose."

"They pay for everything they purchase, never seize our properties, never casually insult won, and respect our laws."

"Apart from their disquieting gaze, they are better than any of the owners I have known."

"I entirely cannot comprehend why they do this, why they would co here. We don’t understand these foreigners; they are not the sa as those we saw before."

He spoke seriously, drawing the others’ attention toward him.

He sighed lightly, "We know nothing about the group possibly becoming our greatest enemy. Unable to uncover their true purpose, defeating them is impossible."

"Given the current situation, we are not their match!"

Directly admitting so failure isn’t easy, possibly damaging his authority, but he said so; people did not feel he was degrading himself.

"I have a thought..." he looked around at the people, "We don’t know their intentions, and the current situation is very adverse to us, so I propose disbanding and joining them!"

This statent was radically different from those prior, leaving people around him showing unbelievable expressions and eyes, as if hearing a huge joke.

But this wasn’t a joke; it was a decision made after long thinking by the short leader.

"Just like you said, there will be people betraying us for foreign favor as long as we are gathered together."

"Thus, we disperse—one or two people among foreigners do little harm, exposing those individuals. Few know us, and foreigners aren’t sharp at recognizing our appearance."

"We’ll apply for jobs and beco their employees, firsthand using eyes and bodies to see and feel, understanding what these people want!"

"This is more effective than sitting here discussing countering an unknown enemy; it isn’t surrender or sha—it’s sothing necessary on the path to victory."

"If anyone is unwilling, I won’t insist. I recomnd those unwilling work or live with other Youth Party branches elsewhere; maybe they have different environnts and approaches."

"But here, my idea is first to integrate, find the issue, discover their purpose, and then consider defeating them!"

People around fell silent, pondering the leader’s words and ideas, then soone raised a hand, followed by more.

In truth, they were confused as well, desiring understanding on what to truly do to save this nation.
