Now reading: Chapter 67 - 0067 is just so straightforward from Darkstone Code, a Drama novel by Tripod.

"Sir, this house was built rely three years ago – it’s still a new house. If its owner weren’t in urgent need of money..." A client manager from a real estate company pursed her lips in a knowing smile, "it wouldn’t be on our sales list!"

This is how the tis are now. Everyone feels they deserve respect and attention, and behind every demand is a massive market. So whether it’s a bank, a real estate company, or any other service industry, as long as it’s a business person, he/she/it is a manager.

A client manager is the most common, followed by an after-sales manager. Many people may not have thought about the state they are in when they call these managers, or when these managers call them.

However, people like this experience; having a "manager provide with personalized service" is always a bragging point.

The house in front of Lynch was a new house in an erging middle-class community, built in only two years and ten months.

It has independent front and back yards, with the backyard housing a not particularly large swimming pool.

The main building has three floors above ground and one underground, occupying 220 square ters without counting the yard.

Lynch ca into so money, roughly a little over two hundred thousand altogether. It’s hard to imagine that last month "he" was disliked by Catherine’s parents for not having a job, which led to a breakup with his girlfriend, and this month, he made money that many might never earn in a lifeti.

Fate is so interesting; of course, it’s more about personal ability. Not everyone has such ability; only Lynch does.

After acquiring money, it was no longer suitable to live upstairs in that small tavern. He needed a house to hide so private things, so he chose this place.

The group living within this erging middle-class community hasn’t beco indifferent yet. About half of the residents here are newly elevated middle-class families. To these people, what they urgently need now is a richer interpersonal network.

Community socializing is a great way to make friends. They will enthusiastically get to know everyone in the community, pondering whether these people might be of use to them.

A few years later, they will lose this enthusiasm because the vast majority of neighbors have nothing to do with their lives—other than saying good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, they won’t have any interactions.

But for now, everyone is active. Being active signifies enthusiasm and responsibility. When Lynch needs sothing, this group of foolish... good-hearted and enthusiastic people will eagerly help him and spread so things for him.

"Open the door, I want to take a look around..." Supporting himself on the round head of the stair’s handrail, the smooth touch was pleasing. He glanced back at the client manager, making his request.

The client manager’s expression changed slightly. She promptly put on a wide smile and wiggled her hips as she walked up the steps.

In sumr, with such hot weather, everyone wished they didn’t have to wear clothes, as the clammy feeling of clothes soaked in sweat was really awful!

After opening the door, the client manager invited Lynch into the room. I have to say, the design of this house is quite nice. The original owner should have hired a competent designer to design this house for his family.

Practical, aesthetic, trendy, simple yet elegant, with excellent lighting and ventilation. There was none of the rot or musty sll that usually accompanies a house that’s been unoccupied for a while.

Most of the things in the room had already been moved out, leaving just a bare shell. Lynch toured every room and even went to the basent for a look; he was very satisfied.

Unlike so designers, who in order to add more rooms and cater to the needs of multi-person households, compact the design of each room.

The original owner, who wasn’t short of money, gave each room of the house ample space, making it hard for anyone living there to feel restricted, constrained, or tightly bound. Lynch was very pleased with this.

"How much?" Returning to the first floor, Lynch looked at the client manager, whose face couldn’t hide her surprise.

No one is sure about the big cities’ current situation, but the economic and social issues in Sabin City have started becoming apparent, with unemploynt rates continuously rising and jobs getting harder to co by.

A few years ago, these Financiers didn’t care at all about how much the land cost, how much the design fee was, or how much labor cost. At that ti, every client manager could earn money with ease.

But now it’s very difficult. They want to close a deal, not only by inviting clients for als, shopping, and relaxing, but also involving so content they dare not write about.

In the industry, it’s even said that in several places, scumbags have appeared who use house-buying as an excuse to cheat people out of money and deceive them emotionally. This has turned an industry that everyone once envied into a high-risk field.

So have started criticizing these real estate client managers for being indiscreet, claiming that their conduct is itself problematic. But if it wasn’t for survival, who would willingly sell their dignity?

The girl discreetly adjusted her very short skirt upwards, tidied her clothes, and gently tugged the hem down, "Forty-eight thousand, sir, it’s absolutely worth this price!"

The bottom price the real estate company gave her was forty-two thousand. A considerable proportion of the excess is her commission, and even so, her quoted price isn’t high.

For a non-self-built house, from acquisition to move-in, the design fee and basic decoration would be an additional expense.

For a house worth fifty thousand, spending three to five thousand on design fees is normal. Perhaps those living in poor neighborhood low-rent housing would think it’s not worth it, but the Middle Class doesn’t see this as an issue.

Spending half the price of the house on design and renovation is almost becoming a standard, even a mindset.

Lynch shook his head, "Too expensive, forty thousand. I can pay now..." He took the check out of his pocket along with a pen.

The client manager’s breathing beca rapid. She raised her hand to smooth her hair, concealing so insignificant little sparks inside her, speaking with lowered eyes, "Sir, actually, there are so other things about this house you might not have understood yet. Would you like to show you?"

This was an overt hint. Lynch had already been around inside; there was nothing he didn’t know about the house. If anything, it had to be sothing other than the house itself.

Unseen secrets attract the interest of the vast majority of n like a black hole, but Lynch wasn’t one of them.

"I’m not going to sleep with you. Here’s five hundred; give the lowest price, or perhaps it would be easier to speak directly with your supervisor?"

The girl rolled her eyes; she would rather Lynch sleep with her a few tis, "Eight hundred, I need the money!"

"Deal!"

This was a rule-breaking move, but no one cared. Lynch wanted to save ti, as exploring hidden mysteries also required ti. The girl, anwhile, preserved her dignity, though she revealed a lower price.

Soon after, Lynch signed the house purchase agreent with the girl accompanying him. The real estate company also breathed a sigh of relief, not showing reluctance because the final price pressed against their bottom line.

For real estate companies holding a large inventory of properties, these houses were almost taking their lives. Let alone pressing the bottom line, even if it were a bit less, they wouldn’t necessarily hold on to them.

The real estate company’s money is partly bank loans and partly public funds. Now that economic growth has slowed, the financial pressure from all sides has increased. Offloading the properties for cash is much smarter than holding them and awaiting judgnt.

In just half a day, all contracts were completed. Looking at the house, Lynch was extrely satisfied!
