"Alright, if you've really decided on this, I'll now tell Captain Universe Spider-Man to head over." The Amazing Spiderman ended the call and relayed the recent conversation to Captain Universe Spider-Man.
In short, Peter Parker had just sent a ssage to the Amazing Spiderman through the spider-silk communication network, claiming that the Deadpool who made the ss at the Temple of Eternity was none other than the Deadpool from his world, and now he intends to take Deadpool to turn themselves in.
Captain Universe Spider-Man was also puzzled. As they were both Spider-n, they knew each other so well that they would never turn in their own friends.
Also, in their eyes, Peter was just a naive college student - even more innocent than most of the Spidern here. He would definitely value friendship and loyalty even more. How could he possibly take Deadpool to surrender himself?
"Do you think this could be a plot by Deadpool?" mused the Amazing Spiderman, rubbing his chin. "What if it's not the Spiderman who's handling Deadpool, but Deadpool who's controlling the Spiderman? The intent could be to make you bring him to the Temple of Eternity then ..."
Both of them wore disgusted expressions, Captain Universe Spider-Man shuddering at the thought. If he really did bring Deadpool to the Temple of Eternity and Deadpool made a ss there again, Eternity would definitely hamr the life out of them.
Captain Universe Spider-man sighed, saying, "I think it should be okay, right? No matter what, Eternity is a mighty God - he should be able to handle Deadpool. It can't be that Deadpool dares to ss with him.... "
The two Spider-n fell into silence, and in the end, it was Captain Universe Spider-Man who said, "I will tell Eternity about this first and see how he handles it."
Upon returning to the Temple of Eternity, Captain Universe Spider-Man explained the situation truthfully, then offered his thoughts, "I think it's no harm letting them co over. After all, this is your domain. Even if they wanted to pull sothing off, you should be able to handle it in ti, right?"
When it ca to this question, Eternity did hesitate for a mont, not entirely sure if he could resist Deadpool.
In his investigation about the tiline and causality, Eternity found that there was always a blur in the grand sche of things that he couldn't see. This ant that Deadpool possessed so mysterious attributes which Eternity was unfamiliar with, an uncommon phenonon since there should be nothing unknowable to the cosmos itself.
Therefore, he had to consider the scenario Captain Universe Spider-Man had suggested- in the event that Deadpool intended to drag Spiderman along, only to create a ss on his head, would the lofty Eternity ever save face again?
"Can you figure out why Deadpool wanted to do this?" Eternity asked.
"Wait a minute, let ask." Captain Universe Spider-Man replied.
Then, narrowing his eyes to connect with the spider-silk network, he contacted Peter. After making a few "Hmm" sounds, he inford Eternity, "That Spiderman said that Deadpool was trying to stand up for him."
Afterward, Captain Universe Spider-Man and Eternity puzzled together. It did make sense for Deadpool to stand up for Spiderman since they were friends, but what had upset Spiderman? Eternity did not rember having offended Spiderman.
In fact, Captain Universe Spider-Man, having received Eternity's power, had made significant contributions during their previous confrontation with Solus. As a result, Spidern should hold a good impression of Eternity.
Reality was indeed so. When Captain Universe Spider-Man asked a few other Spidern, the responses were positive. So might be indifferent to gods, regarding Eternity only as another type of powerful creature— but out of respect for Captain Universe Spider-Man, their comnts about Eternity were quite favorable.
With Schiller stirring up trouble first and followed by Deadpool's incident, Eternity was puzzled. Out of the entire multiverse, why was it that their individual universe seed full of problems?
Eternity seethed as he told Captain Universe Spider-Man, "Let them co. If they dare to make a scene here, I will kick their individual universe out."
Captain Universe Spider-Man sighed and left. During the call, he warned Peter repeatedly, "Eternity is furious. He's my boss. When you guy co, be polite. Don't take any extre action... "
Seeing the mood of Eternity at that mont, Captain Universe Spider-Man knew that Deadpool was indeed a ticking bomb. If anything happened, he feared that he would need to start looking for a new job.
"Don't worry, he won't do anything. It's who wants to talk to Eternity." Peter replied.
Feeling half-convincing, Captain Universe Spider-Man brought them to the entrance of the Temple of Eternity, where he found that Deadpool isn't standing, but lying down.
He was lying on the ground, curled up into a ball, muttering in his sleep, foam forming at his nostrils.
Looking at him, Captain Universe Spider-Man asked, "What happened to him? Is he drunk? Will he start causing havoc in the temple?"
"Yes, I was worried he might pull sothing off, so I got him drunk before I brought him here," Peter shook his head, looking at Deadpool. As he was deeply drunk, Deadpool didn't respond to their conversation and continued to dream sweet dreams.
"You drink?" Captain Universe Spider-Man gave Peter the once over and said, "Didn't you just start college? I rember when I just started college, I didn't drink."
"No, it wasn't who got him drunk." Peter shook his head.
It actually was Shiller who had given Peter a glass of Mad Liquor, and Peter had fed it to Deadpool. Now Deadpool was away in his Genius Deadpool Paradise, riding a carousel in his dreams.
After finding out that Deadpool was indeed unconscious, Captain Universe Spider-Man finally breathed a sigh of relief. He led Peter, as Peter dragged the snoring Deadpool, into the Temple of Eternity.
Of course, the place had long been cleaned up, and its old grandeur was restored. The towering ceiling was full of various murals, the magnificent Roman columns supported the crossbeams on top, and the huge fire basin burned with blazing flas. As Peter walked in such a scene, his figure was contrasted to be exceedingly small.
Eternity's silhouette appeared above the central fountain. For so reason, he was hovering higher than usual today, as if intentionally distancing himself from the fountain.
The vastness of the cosmos made up his entire figure. Upon closer look, many stories happening in countless universes can be seen, and just a single glance is enough to make one's head spin.
"You say you want to communicate with , child?" The solemn voice of Eternity echoed throughout God's Temple. When Peter looked up at him, he couldn't help but believe that he truly was a god in this cosmos, as Peter saw infinite cosmic truths in him.
However, the more he felt like this, the more the blaze that solidified in his chest made his breath possess a burning sensation, and it gathered in his chest without dissipating.
"Firstly, I am very sorry that this whole thing has made a ss of your ho. In any case, it's wrong, and no one should barge into soone else's ho without their permission," Peter apologized sincerely.
Eternity could feel his sincerity, but still stated, "This has nothing to do with you, you should not apologize on behalf of anyone else. Why didn't he co himself?"
Peter lowered his head and responded, "No, it's not entirely unrelated to . The reason why Wade behaved as such was actually to vent for , so I should take so of the responsibility."
"Wade has lived through many unfortunate events, war, terminal disease, human experintation. The weight of many life disappointnts crushed him, causing ntal health issues," Peter cleared his throat and went on, "Just now, a highly professional psychologist diagnosed him with a ntal disorder."
"The report shows that he has epilepsy caused by not seeking imdiate treatnt for post-traumatic stress disorder from the war. When his disease acts up, he can't control his excretory system."
"Of course, he still retains his sanity during these episodes, and the reason for coming here to use the bathroom was purely a prank, a prank to vent for a friend...."
"And that friend is ."
The mont Peter finished speaking, a faint halo erged from both Deadpool and him.
Peter lowered his head, staring at the thin layer of white light on his body, and whispered, "Dr. Schiller previously talked about sothing concerning ntally ill people and the friendship halo, can it really happen?? What's the principle behind this??"
Seeing the white light emanating from Peter and Deadpool's body, Eternity suddenly had a bad premonition, yet he still involuntarily asked,
"Why did he need to vent for you?"
Peter glanced at Deadpool, his tone suddenly beca sowhat somber. If what he had said before was taught by Shiller, then what he was about to say now was truly what he wanted to say.
"Previously, the Spider Legion's Spider Silk reached out to , saying the Spider-n were in big trouble. So malicious creatures were hunting them, hoping I could contribute so strength, so I went," he said.
"I participated in the battles, but before the battles, I spent so ti with them and heard all their stories."
"In their stories, I heard a lot about death. Many who were Peter Parker's Spider-n lost their uncle or aunt, or their girlfriend."
"And many Spider-n who weren't Peter Parker lost their boyfriends, fathers, uncles, or aunts."

Peter turned his head and looked at the starry sky outside Eternal Temple's window. He said, "My aunt is a devout believer. Every week she would go to the church to pray and tell God her love and care for her family."
"She told when I was young that no matter if it was praying before als or evening prayers, I must be devoted and respectful because God will definitely hear what you say. If you're honest, kind, and willing to help others, God will help you."

He heard Peter's voice echoing in the Eternal Temple:
"God loves the world, but why doesn't he love Spider-Man?"
