"Don't leave! Co back! I don't believe your nonsense! Alloy Spider Silk, Living Spider Silk. Unless I've seen it with my own eyes... Don't run away!!"
Upstairs in the Stark Building, Peter shielded his eyes with his hands, looked left and right, and said, "Where is Spider Gwen? Oh my god, she better not have started a fight with Doctor Otto. She could get killed!"
"Doctor Otto's tentacles are made from molten steel, and they have already been upgraded to the 17th generation. If he hits her... Where are they?"
"Oh my god, what is that?!!" Peter exclaid in shock, "That giant lizard... That's not one of our robots, is it??? Pikachu! Pikachu, can you hear ?! Did we create a robot of the Lizard?... We didn't???"
"Doctor Connors! Doctor Connors! Stop it!! Stop fighting!!"
Peter then flew off towards the monster, using his spider silk to zip after it. Before he even got close, he heard Doctor Connors roar in anger:
"Spider Man!!! Why the hell aren't you in the lab in the middle of the day, but wandering around in the streets??!! My lab walls were hit more than 50 tis by your spider silk in the last two hours!! The windows are all blocked!! What the hell?! Are you doing??!!!"
Peter's eyes widened in surprise, while the Amazing Spiderman, being chased down by the giant lizard monster, yelled out in anguish
"What on earth?!! This universe!! Lizard!!! Why!! So big??!!"
He fled, looking back over his shoulder at Doctor Lizard, who was entirely different from the Doctor Lizard in his world.
The Doctor Lizard that the Amazing Spiderman was familiar with was only over two ters tall and weighed just over 200 kilograms. Although he was indeed more robust than Spiderman, he was still a humanoid monster.
But now, the Doctor Lizard chasing him was nearly ten ters tall, similar to Godzilla, and his vast shadow could cover half the street.
"Calm down, doctor!" The Amazing Spiderman tried to console him as always.
In his universe, Doctor Lizard turned back into a human but would transform back into a lizard when emotionally agitated. So, Spiderman often tried to persuade him to calm down. If the doctor could return to human form, then the fight would end.
"It is unrealistic to turn all the people in New York City into lizards! You can't do that! We can find a solution together. I promise that I will..."
"Whoosh!" With a sudden swipe, a tail ca whirling towards him. The Amazing Spiderman jumped at the spot to avoid it, but as soon as he looked back, he saw a pair of gigantic, vertical pupils staring at him. His eyes were filled with anger. The Amazing Spiderman stepped back and held up his hands, saying, "Doctor!! Calm down!!"
Since his reassuring words completely failed, the Amazing Spiderman pondered how to deal with this massive monster. However, just at that ti, another voice echoed:
"Doctor! Look at ! I can explain! I wasn't wandering around the streets. The two of us...you could understand it as we're clones! I was obediently conducting experints in the lab. The results from the experint two days ago will be out tonight...."
Doctor Lizard turned his head to look at another figure hovering in the air. He halted, squinted his eyes, and asked, "Spiderman? Are you Spiderman? Then who is he....is he your imitator?"
"I an Spiderman, you shouldn't be wandering around the streets every day, causing so many imitators. New York is being thrown into disarray because of you guys! " Doctor Lizard adjusted his giant glasses, and said, "You guys shouldn't disrupt the city's overall appearance, spinning cobwebs everywhere. Even if they're biodegradable, it will give the glass facade cleaners a lot of trouble. That's not right..."
Peter was hanging on a wall with his spider silk, at the ease height of Doctor Lizard's eye. He was being scolded with a despondent look on his face when the Amazing Spiderman rushed over, wanting to whisk Peter away. He shouted, "Run! He wants to eat you!"
Peter pushed him away and said, "Stop fooling around. How could the doctor possibly want to eat ?"
At this mont, Doctor Lizard bent his head over to distinguish the differences between the two of them.
The Amazing Spiderman backed away as far as he could, but he was up against a glass facade. His body was glued to the facade like a flat pancake. He shakily turned his head towards Peter and said, "Are you sure? I can see the gaps in his teeth!!!"
Peter, unconcerned, waved his hand and jumped onto Doctor Lizard's shoulder. He turned back to the Amazing Spiderman and beckoned, "Co up quickly. We'll talk back in the lab."
The Amazing Spiderman, standing in the sa place, swallowed hard, shook his head forcefully, and said, "No, no need, I'll walk..."
Half an hour later, Peter appeared, crestfallen, at the Avengers' alliance base. Pikachu hopped up onto the table and asked, "What happened? Did you get scolded?"
Peter sighed deeply and said, "Doctor Otto and Doctor Connors both gave a piece of their minds. They scolded for not informing them about so many Spidern, which caused a delay in their experintal progress..."
"Now, most of the Spidern have been caught and taken to their respective labs. Our plan to distract the dia using Spiderman and artificial villains has been foiled once again."
Peter rubbed his temples and said, "But, the propaganda war against mutants is still ongoing. They're always looking for an excuse to tarnish the image of the mutants..."
As he said this, his expression darkened and he continued, "I suspect that they might be waiting for a major incident to occur. If they can incite such an incident, launching a full-scale propaganda war would be justifiable."
"Didn't you ask what the mutants plan to do about it?" Pikachu asked, hopping over to Peter's side.
"Right now, the relationships between the Avengers in New York and the mutants are more or less rocky, myself included. "Who do you think will take over S.H.I.E.L.D.?" asked Pikachu.
Peter shook his head again and said, "Coulson is dead, Natasha was kicked out of the centers of power, Hill is trapped in the vortex of information; none of Nick Fury's loyalists will likely be selected. As for who will be chosen..."
Peter intended to heave a sigh to express his pessimism. He felt that since the original S.H.I.E.L.D Director had fallen to the black gun, the election for the next S.H.I.E.L.D Director would inevitably be under intense scrutiny. Those who fired the black guns would not allow anyone that Nick Fury favored to succeed.
Just when he was about to let out a sigh, the telephone rang. Peter picked up the phone, and then an astonished voice rang out:
"What did you say?? You want to be the S.H.I.E.L.D. Director??!!"
