On the rooftop of a skyscraper in Southeast New York, several figures stood, their silhouettes cast long shadows against the backdrop of several caras.
At this mont, a chubby caraman hoisted his cara and ran to the forefront, aiming his lens at one of the figures. He made a gesture, and that person imdiately looked toward the cara, cleared his throat, and began to speak:
"Good evening, New Yorkers! As you can see, the New Warriors Team is once again springing into action. This ti, our targets are a gang of escaped convicts hiding in a chemical factory! They have been wreaking havoc around this area ever since they escaped from the Raft Prison!"
"Based on the intelligence we previously gathered, heinous criminals like Cold Heart, Nitro, and Crazy Rush are hiding out here!"
"We, the new generation of Warrior Team, will deal with these criminals, and we'll do it even better than those well-known superheroes! My fellow citizens, please look forward to the performance of the New Warriors!!!"
After finishing the speech, several figures jumped down from the rooftop. All that was left on cara were impressive departing figures.
However, the Amazing Spiderman, who stood on a taller building farther away, knitted his brows tightly. He spoke into his communicator: "Co quickly! Sothing big has happened!"
All the Spider-n were rushing toward him, and in their earphones, the deep voice of the Amazing Spiderman resonated:
"I don't know if sothing like this has happened in your universes, but in mine, one night, a young Superhero team called the 'New Warriors' caused a massive explosion by a criminal nad Nitro during their fight against cri..."
"In that explosion, 612 people were killed; it was the most terrifying and horrific disaster of this century... but that was just the beginning."
"The public lost their trust in superheroes. They thought that we were terrifying ti bombs. As a result, Congress proposed the Superhero Registration Act."
Peter seed to detect a trembling in the Amazing Spiderman's voice, as if he was on the verge of tears. He wasn't sure if it was his own illusion or not. He heard the Amazing Spiderman's voice from the earphone:
"Because of this, Iron Man and Captain Arica fell out. The longest, most horrific superhero war in history began."
"In this war, no one could escape unscathed. Everyone was forced to take a side. Only later did I realize, in this war, there were no winners, everyone lost."
"It was in such a war that I abandoned those pointless fantasies, and deeply understood that if I could only be a saint, I would never be able to block those hidden blows..."
Although the Amazing Spiderman didn't spell out the details, many Spider-n who hadn't experienced this event understood so of his implications. Obviously, in his universe, the civil war was not a simple event, and there must have been many other forces behind it.
Peter pressed his earphone and said to him: "In this universe, a Superhero Registration Act has indeed been proposed, but unfortunately, it was not passed."
"Not passed?? Why?!!" The disbelieving voice of the Amazing Spiderman ca over the earphones.
"I'll tell you what happened later when this is over," Peter replied.
"As for the horrifying explosion you ntioned, we will definitely prevent such a horrible tragedy from happening. The New Warriors? I don't care where they co from, they're not going to cause any trouble here," Peter continued.
After saying this, Peter swung down directly, arriving on the rooftop of the chemical factory. Quickly, several figures fell behind him - all of the Spider-n had gathered.
Peter pressed on the device on his wrist and said, "Jarvis has provided us with a detailed map of this place. We'll go straight through the rooftop door and subdue the group of criminals before these greenhorns can break in."
After finishing, he took the lead toward the rooftop door, with the Spider-n following behind him. They moved along the rooftop, silently approaching the inner part of the warehouse, sticking to the ceiling and walls.
But just as the Spider-n were lurking in the shadows, the warehouse door was kicked open with an audible 'bang'. Peter's eyes widened as he saw a group of superheroes dressed in an assortnt of spandex uniforms strutting in.
He clutched his forehead and said, "They are definitely a bunch of rookies through and through. Change of plan, we have to stop them directly!"
The Nightingale, who was leading the New Warriors, was suddenly halted as he stepped forward, a strand of spider silk sticking to the sole of his boot and restricting his movent.
In an instant, everyone assud defensive postures, and Speedball from the team shouted, "Who's there?! You evildoers! Show yourselves!!"
"I'm not a criminal. I am Spider Man."
Peter, clasping onto the spider silk, descended from the ceiling headfirst in a classic Spider-Man pose. He glanced at the cara next to him and said, "New Yorkers on the Spot? Didn't you guys interview before?"
The chubby caraman imdiately ran up and said, "Oh my god! It's Spider-Man! It's Spider-Man! Spider-Man, what are you doing here?"
"Hey, you're our caraman now! You should be filming the glories of the New Warrior Team, not so washed-up superhero like Spider-Man!" Speedball imdiately raised his voice in response.
