Loki shrugged, saying, "You indeed have no reason to trust us. After all, we're not the ones eager to return."
Loki shook her head and turned to leave. Just as expected, Thanos stopped her and asked, "Is this the only way?"
Loki sighed, "Your Majesty, you have to understand that the cosmic barrier is not just a simple physical wall. It appears to exist, but in fact, it does not. The reason you cannot leave the Dark Quadrant is not because there is a wall outside your door."
"It's because non-elevated life forms don't even perceive the existence of the wall, and because they can't perceive it, they can't break through it."
"I'm willing to make this deal with you precisely because of Asgard's unique situation. We need to brace for Twilight of the Gods, we need to obtain all the power we can gather, otherwise..."
Loki coldly snorted with so disdain. Her implication was that she, who had been promoted, had any need to trade with Thanos? Summarizing the point in brief three words — Are you worthy?
In the original comics, when Loki t Thanos, he was a prisoner. Moreover, at that ti, he was only the God of Mischief, the Second Prince of Asgard who was not favoured, the brother who quarreled with his elder brother.
But now, she's a Goddess of Glory who has witnessed the scenery above the cosmos, the prince of Asgard, one of the actual leaders of the Nine Major Kingdoms.
From a civilizational perspective, she could naturally converse with Thanos on equal terms. Moreover, Asgard is much older and more powerful than the Dark Quadrant that Thanos developed.
From the perspective of personal strength, even if she does not elevate to beco the Goddess of Glory, when she fights with Thanos, even if she can't win, Thanos can't catch her if she decides to flee.
The initiative was entirely in Loki's hands. Thanos had no choice but to let her set the price. He hesitated for a mont and then said, "I cannot give my soul to Asgard, this is my bottom line. Thanos's chest heaved, he knew, he was about to be fleeced again.
After so bargaining, the two reached a deal. To resurrect from the United Heaven using Asgard's resurrection quota, Thanos needed to give up the technology to land planetary war chariots, all equipnt from a fully mature war chariot squad, so gear developed by the Eternals of the Eternal Titan, but most importantly, historical data involving the Eternals Family and Heavenly Gods Group.
Thanos thought Loki sought these things to find a way to crack Twilight of the Gods. After all, the Heavenly Gods Group, a creature so mysterious, might have touched the more elental layers of the cosmos. Their secrets could be the key to solving Twilight of the Gods.
Thanos provided the data, but the records were not complete. Loki did not mind too much. After they reached a preliminary partnership, the whole resurrection process went very smoothly.
Loki first elevated herself to cosmos, took the fleet weapons Thanos needed and his paynt back to the cosmos. At the sa ti, she took Thanos's body with her. After death with the resurrection quota of Asgard, Thanos did not enter the Land of Death, but went to the United Heaven instead.
From the United Heaven, after being resurrected in his physical body within the cosmos, Thanos was officially back in the cosmos.
However, Loki could not possibly bring all the fleets from the Dark Quadrant back for him. She only brought back a main fleet prepared by Thanos, and it was not situated in the Dark Quadrant but casually thrown at the edge of the Milky Way.
After Thanos was revived from the life-support cabin of the main fleet control room, he did not rush to his target point. He still guarded against Loki, so he planned to navigate randomly around the nearby cosmos.
As the fleet sailed in the open cosmos, a sense of familiarity welled up in Thanos's heart. Suddenly, he saw a bright rift ahead of the fleet. Then, all the alarms in the fleet sounded.
"Warning! Warning! Warning! Unknown fleet approaching ..."
"Anti-warp device activated ... Anti-warp failed! Trap detection device activated ... No anomalies detected ..."
"Gravity trap hit the ship's flank ... Escort ship losses number 3 ..."
"Detected abnormal energy accumulation, shields have been deployed! Shield loss! Shield loss! Shield loss!"
Standing in the control room, Thanos saw through the porthole millions of battleships appear suddenly before him. Everywhere he looked, there was an aggressive main fleet ready to attack.
"Terrorist Thanos! Lay down your weapons! Do not resist! You will pay for your defiance of the Three Great Empires!"
"Terrorist Thanos! Surrender! Surrender! Repeating, you have violated the rules of interstellar peace and security, stop all cannons! Stop charging! Any resistance will et with destruction!!!!!!"
Gritting his teeth, Thanos slamd the control panel and said, "What the hell is going on??!! Loki, that damned liar!!!!!!"
"I am Thanos, this is a misunderstanding, I can ..."
"Warning! Warning! Warning! High energy response detected ahead! High energy response detected ahead!"
In Thanos's field of vision, a dazzling light streaked by. In a flash, the ship's cabin shook. With no ti to think, he dodged the sparks flying at high speed, then ran for his life in the smoky spaceship corridor until he boarded an escort ship.
In a mont of crisis, the small spacecraft was launched, and Thanos piloted the ship towards the closest planet at high speed and hid behind it.
Hiding in the small ship, he watched helplessly as his main fleet was completely obliterated in the endless artillery fire.
Realizing that it was not safe to stay here, Thanos piloted the small escape ship and fled the area as fast as he could. What he didn't notice was that a green figure flashed by not far from his ship.
A bright ring, trailed by a brilliant tail, illuminated the dark space, bringing a mont of brightness to the entire cosmos.
When the ring of light hit the ship, fireworks lit up the night sky. After the flash of light was gone, all that was left was the lone Thanos.
No fleets, no weapons, no Infinity Gems, and no way ho. Centuries of effort, all gone in vain.
At this mont, Thanos, the Universal Overlord, was left alone with the boundless future still in front of him.
