Zatanna burst into the room, seeing Constantine hanging from the ceiling wire, she let out an insane shriek.
"No!!!!!!!!!!!!"
With a "whoosh," a whip coiled around Constantine's waist, giving him a couple of swings before tossing him onto the floor.
Catwoman and Pala walked in, then turned and said to Zatanna, "Is this the Constantine you were looking for? He's indeed the sa Constantine we know. We thought it was just a nasake."
"What happened to him? How could he..." Zatanna rushed up, looking at the fresh blood on Constantine's neck, she said incredulously, "How could he have committed suicide??!! How can this be?!!!!!"
"Uh, isn't it normal for such a scum to lose it one day?" Catwoman took a cold breath, "Even though I'm a Gothamite, Constantine is one of the worst people I've ever encountered."
"Quick! Quick! Take him to the hospital!" Zatanna hugged Constantine's shoulders, "Where is the nearest hospital? I want to teleport him there!"
Upon hearing this question, Catwoman hesitated for a mont, then sounded sowhat helpless: "This bar is a bit too remote, it's far from both Wayne Hospital and the Central Hospital. But it's quite near Arkham Asylum, although it's a ntal hospital, the doctors there probably know first aid."
Zatanna dragged Constantine and Catwoman and Pala helped take him outside. Pointing at a sign across the river, Catwoman remarked, "See that island? That's Arkham Asylum. If you can teleport to that sign, we can enter directly from the rooftop."
Zatanna imdiately summoned a portal, whisking Constantine, Catwoman, and Pala to the sky above Arkham Asylum.
As they ca down from the sign, Zatanna was about to escort Constantine into the hospital, but Catwoman stopped her, "Don't rush, there are rules here. If you just barge in like that, they might shoot at us."
"I'll sneak in first, find the attending physician, explain the situation and have him send people. Please don't act rashly, believe , they're more heavily ard here than you might think."
Zatanna nodded her head. Catwoman then went into the rooftop door. After a while, she returned with Brand. Brand looked at Constantine, who was covered in blood, and said in surprise,
"What happened? Who could've made him take such a huge fall?"
Before Zatanna could explain, Brand waved his hand at her, "Let's get him into the ward first. I need to make sure his airway is not damaged."
The group lifted Constantine into a room on the top floor of Arkham Hospital. After a while, the nurse and the doctor ca in, while Zatanna, Catwoman, and Pala waited outside.
Catwoman glanced at the ward's door and said, "Really, how could he do this to himself? This scumbag, despite his sloppy lifestyle, should be quite resilient. Otherwise, he wouldn't have lasted till today."
Zatanna covered her eyes and sighed deeply and said, "It must be because of Shiller and Bruce..."
"Who did you say?" Catwoman questioned in confusion. She seed to have heard a familiar na, but Zatanna just waved her hand and said, "Forget it, it's none of your business. What did you need my help with before?"
"Oh, you suddenly fell out of the portal earlier, giving us quite a fright. You said it was your portal, so we thought we could hitch a ride. Can you teleport us to the Wayne Building? We want to find soone." Catwoman spoke up.
"The Wayne Building? Are you referring to Bruce Wayne's Manor?" Zatanna asked, to which Catwoman looked at her surprisingly, "You don't know of the Wayne Building? It's the Wayne Family's Building, the tallest one in the city center."
"Of course, you could also teleport to Wayne Manor, but I think he might not be there. He'd either be in the building's lab or in the Batcave..."
At this mont, Zatanna also realized sothing was off. She asked, "Do you know Bruce Wayne?"
Catwoman was stunned and answered: "Ah, yes, that's right, I know Wayne. I want to go find him, but you didn't hear anything from . I've never ntioned anything like a Batcave..."
"What is your relationship with him?" Zatanna asked further.
"Well, we're friends..." said Catwoman hesitantly, to which Zatanna sighed and responded, "You're his girlfriend, aren't you? Hello, I'm Zatanna, his ex-girlfriend, but that's not important."
Zatanna stood straight, faced Catwoman, and said, "I might have so bad news for you, but you must stay calm..."
Catwoman was puzzled and asked, "What bad news?"
"Aren't you curious as to why Constantine ended up this way? The reason is, his two friends, Schiller Rodriguez and Bruce Wayne, leapt into Hell right in front of him."
"What did you just say?!" Catwoman raised her voice, "Who jumped into what?!"
"Listen, miss..." Zatanna looked at Catwoman and said, "I'm trying to rectify this situation now. Before running into you, I phoned ho to ask my relatives if any of them had left markers in Hell. I have to go into Hell to find them."
