In the dim prison cell, a girl in a white dress cowered in a corner. Soon, a long shadow was cast on the walls of the cell, and a figure with blue skin appeared at the cell door.
"Do you rember ?" A man's voice rang out in the spacious room, and with a snap of his fingers - "clack" - the door lock was opened.
As the blue figure stepped into the cell, his skin color cast a chilly light throughout the room.
The girl remained, hugging her legs and not looking up. The man gently reached out, nudged her emaciated figure with a finger, and she was imdiately thrown onto the floor.
"Oh, I almost forgot. I don't believe I've told you my na yet..." His voice carried a tone of mockery, "Though it's not necessary, it's best that you rember - my na is Kang, or you can call , Conqueror Kang."
After speaking, he took two steps forward and squatted down to look at Loki's face, saying, "I can't believe how much you've grown in just a few days. But I knew from the beginning you would be a beauty..."
Having said that, Conqueror Kang then stood up and slowly walked towards the door, leaving only his back to Loki. He snapped his fingers again, and a chair appeared at the center of the room.
The next second, Loki found herself in the chair, her arms, neck, and waist all tightly secured. Conqueror Kang suddenly turned back towards her and said, "Let's continue our earlier conversation."
"Why did you disappear?" Loki mimicked Sylvie's hoarse voice, "And why did you return?"
Conqueror Kang chuckled, saying, "I rely stepped out for a few days. To you, it might have been hundreds, even thousands of years, but to , it was only a mont."
"You Immortal Species always think yourselves so noble, yet you always die as ti passes. All lives that are bound by ti are as insignificant as ants."
But Loki stared straight into Conqueror Kang's eyes and said, "Really? So you didn't co back not because you didn't want to?"
"Then why do you look so worn out and exhausted?"
Conqueror Kang's face stiffened montarily, but his expression quickly returned to normal. However, Loki keenly noticed a twitch in the corner of Conqueror Kang's eye. Perhaps he was cursing in his mind.
This ti, she was right. Conqueror Kang had struggled imnsely just to return here.
Perhaps, many people may have guessed why he was trapped outside. Initially, Shiller caused chaos throughout the Marvel Universe, managed to upset the OAA, who in turn kicked Shiller's Multiverse out of the Marvel's cosmic world.
Indeed, Conqueror Kang can travel through tilines and the Multiverse, but breaking through the barrier of the cosmic world, proved to be sowhat challenging for him.
When he left, the entire universe was still within the cosmic world, but when he wanted to return, he couldn't find his ho no matter what he did.
The reason he was able to return, was accidental. Each universe had its own Conqueror Kang, and between them, most relationships were a matter of life and death, and if they encountered each other, a battle was inevitable.
Most Conqueror Kang's had their own territory. If they couldn't win in a fight, they could retreat ho, but the Ti Managent Bureau Commissioner Conqueror Kang of this universe lost his ho and was forced to wander between universes.
Unfortunately, he encountered several versions of himself and was relentlessly pursued. He traveled through countless universes until he coincidentally found a hole in one of them.
The seasoned universe-traveling Conqueror Kang, sensed that this hole was not ordinary, and at that point, he was trapped, he had been driven to limits, so he had no choice but to jump down the hole.
Next thing he knew, Conqueror Kang found himself in a vast temple. He thought he knew everything about the universe, but he never knew of this place.
Yes, the reason Conqueror Kang was able to return was because Shiller built a subway for Eternity who commuting to and from everyday. By an unfortunate twist of fate, he stumbled upon this subway and arrived at the Temple of Eternity.
At that ti, Eternity was at work and due to the barrier of the cosmic world, he did not sense his temple being invaded.
Conqueror Kang indeed wanted to rummage through the temple, but in actuality, there was nothing in the Temple of Eternity. After scanning the room without finding anything, he decided to leave.
However, the Temple of Eternity was not located in any place in the universe. This dinsion was completely independent of the Multiverse, and aside from characters like Deadpool, no one could leave this place easily.
Luckily, although the Temple of Eternity was not inside the spatial Multiverse, it was still within the universe's tiline. Conqueror Kang had all the ti in the world, so he adopted the most efficient thod relative to his abilities - it was, to put it simply, the Exhaustion thod.
