"The 'Skin Hunter' in California State has been brought to justice. The seven cases of skinning he committed are the most brutal and insane cases in the history of cri in California state. Next, our reporter will give you a detailed report on the process of the case..."

With a "click", a hand switched off the radio. Gordon withdrew his hand from his brow, sighed helplessly, and exclaid, "What the hell happened? Has the whole world begun to resemble Gotham?"

"Boss, the news this week has been super weird. Every state is reporting on serial killers, I turned on the radio and I thought I got the wrong station and tuned in to a local station in Gotham."

A young policeman, who was sorting through the papers on his desk, shook his head and said. A female officer next to him put down her phone and said sowhat surprised, "In the past week, there seems to have been an increase in the number of serial killers. In many areas, there is a shortage of police force, and so places even called us for our experience to take reference from."

"Where did all these people co from?" The young male officer asked confusedly, "And how co they all started committing cris at the sa ti?"

Gordon frowned deeply, his voice grave, "This can't be a coincidence. From my many years of experience, although every year there are serial murder cases all over the place, such concentrated incidences are the first I've seen."

The female officer grimaced, "Moreover, these serial killers are a lot more insane than before. In the past, it was a great achievent if they committed three or four cases. But this ti, serial killers from several states are killing seven or eight people at a stretch, and their thods are extrely brutal, as if they want to make it known how cruel they are."

Gordon sighed deeply, although he didn't continue speaking, he had made up his mind in his heart. He must go to Batman and ask what the hell was going on.

It was late at night, Gordon finished all the work for the day, took his car keys and planned to drive to Wayne Manor to find Bruce. Just as he was about to walk towards the door, he noticed a shadow appear behind him.

"Batman, every ti you co here, you scare the hell out of ." Gordon shook his head and turned to Batman standing in the shadows of the room.

What surprised Gordon was that Batman was not in good shape. He was drenched from the rain and complexion paler than soone with heavy blood loss. Even his gaze seed sowhat hollow.

"Have you been following the recent news?" Batman's low voice rang out. Without waiting for Gordon's reply, he continued, "Multiple serial killing cases have taken place in various places, and both the number of killers and their cris have shot up more than tenfold within a week."

"Of course, I've heard." Gordon returned to his seat and sat down. He took out a few docunts, threw them on the table and said, "I was planning to find you and ask if you knew what the hell was going on. Seems like you are in the dark as well."

"This has sothing to do with Shiller." Batman said.

At the ntion of Shiller's na, Gordon's expression stiffened for a mont. He sighed deeply with a complicated expression and said, "It's only been a week since he left, but it feels like a year has passed."

After saying this, Gordon leaned forward, picked up a pen from the desk, fiddled with it in his hand and said, "I know, Shiller is guilty. Regardless of how rampant murder is in this city, it only emphasizes the abnormality of the city. Offenders must pay for their contempt of the law."

"But I don't think Shiller should be locked up in a high-security prison for such a long sentence. Batman, you wouldn't want to know how the prisoners are treated in that prison."

"I know you all have grievances." Batman said, "You think Shiller didn't get a fair trial and as his most valued student, I didn't fight for his fairness."

Gordon slightly shook his head and said, "Nobody has the responsibility to fight for soone else. It's just that I worry your hatred for the criminals may affect your judgnt of justice."

Gordon took another glance at Batman, noticing his poor state, he didn't continue speaking.

"Shiller is the leader of all these serial killers. He's the founder of a mysterious club offering these serial killers a stage to showcase themselves...he's their shepherd."

As Batman's voice trailed off, Gordon's hand suddenly tightened, he turned to Batman and said, "So you an, Shiller drove these serial killers to commit serial killings?"

"On the contrary." Batman stared into Gordon's eyes and said, "It's precisely because Shiller is gone that these serial killers have gone rampant."
