On a street in the Bronx, a huge black monster covered in fangs leaped from a rooftop. With a thud, it smashed a large pit into the ground.
The creature was several stories high, its entire body pitch-black with a white spider pattern across its chest. More terrifyingly, it waved around giant tendrils of oozing sli from its back, appearing like a demon monster descended straight from hell.
Pedestrians on the street began to flee, screaming as they darted into the narrow alleyways. Although the monster looked terrifying, it didn't seem very intelligent. After jumping down, it was more preoccupied with posing on the spot, with no signs of action after all the people had run away.
Suddenly, the monster's white spider-like eyes fixed on a figure inside a coffee shop at the corner of the street. The figure was a middle-aged man in a plaid shirt, wearing rimless glasses, and carrying a briefcase. He had just bought a cup of coffee and was heading out of the door.
Spotting the colossal monster, the man's hand trembled, spilling his freshly-bought coffee. Retreating in fear, he cowered back into the shop, covering his head with his hands and squatting behind a chair.
At this mont, several figures also jumped down from the high-rise buildings. Leading was the Scarlet Witch in a flying red cloak, followed by the pitch-black Nightingale and the Speedball in a bright-colored uniform. In the end, a girl with a fluffy squirrel's tail jumped down.
The man inside the coffee shop did not notice that a cara on a car parked in front of the coffee shop blinked, capturing every aspect of his behavior. Just a few seconds later, Jarvis's voice echoed in Wanda's earpiece: "Look at the coffee shop 20 ters to your right. There's your target. Sothing's definitely off with him."
Wanda pressed her earpiece, imdiately straightening her deanor. She pointed at Venom, who was hopping and running down the street in an extrely arrogant fashion, and shouted, "Venom, halt! You miscreant creature, the New Warriors Team will bring you to justice!"
Inside the New Warriors' Base, Gwen standing next to Jarvis, slapped her forehead saying, "Oh my god, that line is so cringeworthy!"
She then saw on the surveillance screen; Venom, in a rather flamboyant fashion, first jumped onto the rooftop, followed by Thomas performing a 360-degree aerial spin before landing. Upon landing, he intentionally didn't prop himself with his tentacles, and instead with a 'bang' created a large pit on the ground. The roadway debris sprayed onto nearby cars, setting off their earsplitting alarms.
"New Warriors Team! Dare to challenge the mighty Venom?! I'll show you today! I'll consu all your heads! Roar!!!"
Riley also slapped his forehead, saying, "Okay, that is even more cringe-inducing!"
At this mont, a group of people holding placards suddenly rounded the corner but froze as soon as they entered the street.
Hearing the rustle, Venom swung his giant spider eyes to the leader of the group. The fair-haired Caucasian youth saw Venom's salivating, sharp fangs and was completely paralyzed.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!"
A non-human-like scream echoed, and the protesters turned around and fled, clumsily tumbling and crawling away in fear.
The surveillance monitor at the New Warriors Base showed the dismissive expression on the man's face from the coffee shop. The man didn't detect it.
When the man took out a cara from his case, Jarvis spoke in a low voice, "Move in!"
With a wave of the Scarlet Witch's arm, "Bang bang bang bang bang!"; a series of explosions sounded from the roadway in a straight line towards Venom. Venom didn't back down and charged forward, deliberately jumping to catch the Scarlet Witch currently airborne.
Speedball accelerated and then jumped, rotating and stabbing Venom's shoulder, causing him to stumble and fall. But Venom swung his tendril backhandedly, sending Speedball flying.
Nightingale threw a dart, forcing Venom to block with his right arm while the Squirrel Girl flicked her tail, instantly sweeping Venom off his feet.
The battle beca more and more intense, nearly devastating the entire street. anwhile, the man hiding in the corner of the coffee shop holding the cara revealed a satisfied grin. Now he could finally bring these superheroes down.
He could easily edit the footage he captured into a narrative where the superheroes were ruthlessly attacking protesters under the manipulation of the police, infringing upon their right to free speech.
The man holding the cara thought to himself, it was good that Spider-Man wasn't there. That guy had a lot of fans who could have created a backlash if he were captured.
Through the cara lens, the man was looking for the best shooting angle. He was so focused that he didn't even notice that the battlefield was gradually shifting away from his right and towards the center of the street, getting closer to him.
"Boom!"
A large pit appeared less than 10 ters away from the coffee shop, a piece of hard road surface flew up, smashing directly into the coffee shop's door-side nu. Following that with a crash, a black tentacle flew straight into the coffee shop.
The terrified coffee shop owner hiding behind the counter let out a shriek. The slimy tentacle smashed the entire shop entrance, flinging its gelatinous residue onto the faces of the people seeking cover.
Without even looking back, Venom continued to confront the Scarlet Witch in mid-air. However, the symbiotic factor at the end of the tentacle detected interference — two powerful air currents pierced through Venom's tentacle, another even more potent air current was heading straight for his chest.
With his back to the coffee shop, Venom squints his white eyes and says coldly, "Got you!"
In an instant, a massive wave of black Symbiotic Factor, like a tidal wave from the ocean, floods out. Venom's supercharged mass of Symbiote Factor engulfs the whole street, swamping every person in every shop on the street.
But the next second, the Symbiotic Factor recedes, leaving everyone else unhard, except for a man holding a cara, crouched behind a chair in the coffee shop.
Venom verifies that it was this man who created those few air streams. It not only attacked his tendrils but also intended to shoot through his heart directly, and the intensity of the airflow was not comparable to a bullet at all.
There are many mob mbers shooting at him on the street, but the force of a bullet is far from strong enough to penetrate his body surface. However, that airflow actually punctured two holes in his tendrils.
Using his massive black tendrils, Venom grabs the man and leaps into an alleyway. The black sli recedes, leaving only a slimr tendril sprouting from Xu Shang-Chi's back, which glues the man to the wall of the alley so that he can't move.
With several "swishing" sounds, the mbers of the New Warriors Team jump down from the building and gather in the alley. Wanda flicks her cloak and asks, "Who are you? Why are you plotting?"
"Let go, let go!" The man screams out, "What gives you the right to arrest a journalist? You're breaking the law!!!"
In an instant, the black sli coats Xu Shang-Chi's body again. Venom bares his fangs, as his scarlet tongue gets close to the man's nose. The man's mouth opens wide in fear and his facial muscles twitch.
"If you don't talk, I'll eat your brain and read your mories!" Venom's deep and gruff voice echoes in the man's ears as if a demon is whispering.
Suddenly, Venom's Symbiotic Factor senses a surge of heat. The man's chest starts to glow, and purple light surrounds his body. He lets out a roar different from any human, then starts to resist with a great force that no ordinary person could have.
Venom speeds up the delivery of the Symbiotic Factor. Thus, although the man struggles hard, he still can't break free. Wanda steps forward to continue questioning, but Venom suddenly shouts, "Back off!"
"Boom!!!!!"
A loud explosion rings out, and just one second before it, the Scarlet Witch swings her arm and teleports everyone to the rooftop. Venom creates a shield with the Symbiotic Factor, but he and Xu Shang-Chi are still blown away.
When Xu Shang-Chi scrambles to his feet, he feels a bit dizzy. Wanda and Jarvis rush over and ask, "Are you okay?"
Xu Shang-Chi shakes his head, and Venom's voice cos out of his mouth: "Damn, that was really sothing!"
"Look over there!" Squirrel Girl points at a leg stretching out from the demolished rubble of the alley. Wanda exclaims, "He didn't get blown into pieces, how is that even possible?!"
"Indeed impossible," Venom reappears, limping towards that direction, adding, "The protective shield I made from my Symbiotic Factor was turned into ashes in an instant during the explosion. No ordinary person could have ever survived such a blast."
They gather around the pile of debris, and Venom uses his tendrils to remove the rubble, only to find out that not only the man's body was not blown into pieces, but it was also extrely intact, with no missing arms or legs.
But everyone's attention was drawn to his chest, because there was a mysterious pattern emitting a faint purple glow, as if the energy accumulated from the explosion had not yet fully dissipated.
This pattern was overall a circle, but it was made up of ten smaller circles forming a larger circle. Inside these small circles were vertical texts, and in the center of the ten small circles were a pair of crossed blades forming an "X".
At that mont, Jarvis and the other two Spider-n rushed over. The mont they spotted the pattern, Jarvis initiated a scan. But soon, he shakes his head and says, "The modern network database has no records of this pattern, but the text within the circles can be deciphered, give a mont."
"Oh, I rember!" Xu Shang-Chi suddenly screams out, "The Ten Commandnts! It's The Ten Commandnts! This is their symbol!!!"
"Buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz."
Suddenly, a buzzing noise of electricity cos from above, and everyone instinctively looks up to the source of the sound. At this mont, a black dot falls from mid-air.
"Bang!!!!!"
After the deafening bang, the smoke clears, and the golden-red Iron Armor appears in front of everyone, leaving everyone stunned. Riley tentatively asks, "....Iron Man?"
The figure in the sky slowly gets up. The damaged Iron Armor is sparking continuously, but as soon as he gets up, he sees the corpse outside of the hole and the mysterious pattern on the corpse's chest.
"Swish! Bang Bang Bang!!!!!"
In an instant, the ruined Iron Armor forcefully launches, flies into mid-air, and the handguns gather energy, bombarding the corpse non-stop. An enraged voice booms, "Damn Ten Commandnts!!! It's all your doing!!!!!!"
anwhile, Jarvis's deep voice resounds in everyone's ears, sending chills down their spines.
"Back off! That is not the Iron Man we know!"
