Red Robin was silently looking at the scenery outside the cab window. Lilith asked in his head, "What have you figured out?"

"The killer has a vengeance against Cain."

The leap in logic was too great, and it took Lilith a mont to respond. She stayed silent for a while before asking, "Why?"

"It's a simple logic inference...Oh, I forgot you're a demon, you probably don't read the Bible. Abel's offerings to God were the choicest bits from the sheep he looked after, and this pleased God."

"If it were a human who died, I would have thought it was the work of a serial killer with a biblical the. But that man was a vampire, a subordinate of Blood Queen Mary, and Blood Queen's master is Cain."

"That's why I imdiately left the place because I knew Blood Queen Mary wouldn't ignore the death of her subordinate. Soon, Mary would investigate the matter. The foolish woman would not understand and repeat the scene to her master, even taking him there."

"Cain witnessed how Abel, God's particularly favored son, killed lambs and took their abdominal fat as an offering to gain more favor. He will surely be provoked by this scene. Who do you think he will vent his anger on?"

"...Mary?" Lilith speculated.

"You're not entirely dull." Red Robin's tone was so calm that Lilith could hardly find an excuse to lash out at him.

With a light sigh, he pulled out the small screen from his pocket. As soon as he turned the screen on, Cain's gloomy face appeared in the middle of the screen.

The cara was positioned just above the corpse. It captured every expression on Cain's face as he observed the body.

His pale, handso face wore an unfathomable, icy expression. Blood Queen Mary, standing by the body's side, fiercely exclaid, "How dare he kill my child?! He was my first progeny, my eldest! I will drain his blood dry!"

Upon hearing the word 'eldest', Cain's pupils contracted slightly. Caught off guard, Blood Queen Mary was sent flying onto the ground by an invisible force.

She laid incredulously on the ground, looking around, eting Cain's icy gaze.

"God, Lord, the great ancestor, please forgive ! I had no idea Morgan would actually get killed! That useless bastard even drank rcury... Don't worry, my Lord, this will not hinder our grand sche! I have many more capable descendants...argh!!!"

Blood Queen Mary let out a sharp scream. It was as if her throat was being strangled, her mouth agape, her eyes bulging, desperately clawing at her own chin.

"Master, save ..."

With a 'thump', Mary was thrown against the door. Her elegant dress stained with blood, she clutched her chest, gasping for breath amidst coughs. As Cain walked past her, he didn't even give her a single glance.

"Find the killer and bring him to ."

The taxi stopped by Thas River. The majestic Westminster Abbey seed even more magnificent under the night sky. Red Robin got off the car and walked towards the Abbey.

The Abbey was not open for visits at this ti, but that didn't stop the nimble Red Robin. He successfully led the night-shift guard away and slipped into the church from the side entrance.

"I don't believe soone who skillfully skins and scrapes off the fat from a humanoid's abdon and waist would genuinely believe in God," Red Robin said while strolling in the dark church. "God is simply an excuse for their crazed actions."

"But, I don't think he's simply killing. He wants to leave so information. Abdominal fat is an offering to God, and the Abbey is reputed to be the closest place to God in England."

Exiting from the side door of the nave and rounding the courtyard, Red Robin purposefully entered through the main entrance of the great hall. The huge pointed gothic door was ajar, and a sword-like beam of light shot out from the crack illuminating the carpet patterns in a blurred manner.

There had been a ceremony here not long ago, he thought, and he walked through the crack in the door. His boots made no sound against the dark red carpet. The tranquility in the Abbey was stifling.

Walking along the long red carpet to the pulpit, under the cold moonlight shining through the three vast gothic windows, there sat a crystal clear glass bottle like a gemstone in the center of the pulpit.

Red Robin slowly walked over, reaching out for the glass bottle. His gaze was fixed on the fat that had sedinted inside the bottle. Almost dreamily, he muttered, "A land flowing with milk and honey..."

Just as Red Robin's fingertips were almost touching the glass bottle, he slowly put his hand down, took a deep breath and said, "No, the ritual is not yet complete. He needs more offerings."

Red Robin looked around, seemingly envisioning the yet to appear but already in his vision countless jars — filled up the whole pulpit, each one filled with ointnts as white as jade and as soft as a newborn's skin.

Red Robin watched silently, invested in observing, understanding and appreciating, then allowing his thoughts to stray even further.

"He would put wicks in all the jars and light them like candles when giving a sermon, and let the thin wisps of smoke and moonlight rise to the heavens..."
