In the end, Azazel took Constantine back to his palace, where Constantine t Lucifer.

"I thought you had completely given up on Hell."

Constantine sat on the ground, his back leaning against the pillar in the center of the palace, Azazel stood by the throne, and Lucifer stood in the center of the hall.

"If it were just the demon kings waging war, I wouldn't bother, but don't tell you haven't noticed that those angels are starting to stir again."

Lucifer began to pace in the center of the throne hall, his tone unusually heavy.

"A few days ago, so uninvited guests visited my new bar in Seashore City. They were not ordinary humans, but their disguise almost fooled ."

Constantine, relaxed and leaning against the pillar, furrowed his brows slightly. Lucifer exhaled softly and said, "Almost no one in the magic realm knew that I had sold my bar in Los Angeles and moved to Seashore City. For the past few months, only ordinary people have been coming here."

"When those people entered the bar, I couldn't detect any energy traces on them, so naturally, I assud they were just ordinary custors, until the experienced local bartender I hired told that their expressions and actions were sowhat off."

"The bartender thought they were thieves, but I realized they might be from the church, minions of those angels."

Lucifer stopped pacing and crossed his arms, "Generally speaking, priests or bishops of the church would carry obvious traces of faith power. I could sll that unpleasant scent from miles away, but those people had no traces."

"It must be Gabriel's handiwork." Azazel sneered, leaning against the side of the throne, "That feathered fool is an expert at this, which is why Hell has long stopped accepting fallen angels – Gabriel even sends his underlings to Hell to gather information."

Lucifer raised an eyebrow and said, "Michael and I both know that Heaven and Hell are both under God's rule, and we are not truly enemies. The magnificent Fall of Angels was rely a demonstration of the heavy price I paid for my betrayal. God and Michael are both aware of this, but Gabriel doesn't share this view."

"For many years, he has been the only one earnestly persevering in the struggle against Hell, thinking it his ans to glory in Heaven. He believes that Michael was rewarded by God through the Fall of the Angels, so he has always wanted to instigate a second Fall of the Angels, replicating the glorious path Michael once walked."

At this point, Lucifer let out a deep sigh, seemingly lanting Gabriel's lack of understanding. He shook his head slightly and said, "Perhaps he's the only one in Heaven who believes God to be completely fair, thinking that as long as you do well, you'll earn love and status."

"But the reality is completely different." Azazel descended the steps of the throne hall and said, "God bestows status upon those whom He likes, not that whoever attains status will gain God's favor."

Constantine let out a cold laugh, "Aren't there a bunch of idiots like that in Heaven? Cain thought that by offering a good sacrifice he could earn God's favor, but the truth is it was because God liked Abel that He appreciated his sacrifice."

"God has never been fair." Lucifer lowered his eyes and continued, "Just like every pair of parents in this world, but Gabriel doesn't understand this."

"Instigating the conflict between Heaven and Hell is Gabriel's way of vying for status. I don't care what Hell will beco, but I can't tolerate this fool buzzing around my life like a fly."

"So, you ca to ." Constantine sighed, one hand resting on his bent knee, "Because the great Lord Satan thinks himself above dealing personally with Gabriel who ranks at the very bottom among the archangels, so you want to annoy him for you."

"Just like you've always done." Lucifer walked up to Constantine, helped him up, and said, "You're very good at making trouble for both demons and angels. This ti shouldn't be an exception, right?"

"Shiller left your soul in Hell to torture you, but I can let you out so you can do sothing else during this ti. He won't find out. How about it?"

Lucifer handed Constantine a cigarette. After lighting it and putting it in his mouth, Constantine took a deep puff and blew out the smoke, "First you torture , then you let off and take that as a favor, so I'll obediently work for you..."

Constantine walked up to Lucifer's face, blew a puff of smoke into it, and then said, "Lucifer, have you been away from Hell for so long that you can't keep up with the trend of deceiving people? Still using such old-fashioned tricks?"

With a whoosh, Lucifer spread one side of his wings and knocked Constantine to the ground. He looked down at Constantine and said, "Get it straight. Shiller was the one who threw you in here. The demons are just avenging their past humiliations at your hands, whereas I have forgiven you."

"You're wrong." Constantine rolled to his side and laid flat on the ground. He took another puff of his cigarette and said, "I deeply regret my past misdeanours and intend to use my own suffering to appease the anger of all the victims. I don't need you to rescue . Just piss off."

Lucifer took a deep breath, Azazel stepped up, looked at Constantine and said, "Constantine, have you gone mad? Do you want to stay in Hell and keep getting tortured?"

"You're right, that's exactly what I want."

Lucifer folded his wings back up. He walked over to Constantine, knelt down beside him and said, "John, what the hell is wrong with you? Can't I be asking for a favor as a friend?"

But Constantine simply lay there, eyes closed, muttering under his breath, "If not for lack of hope, no one would hope for , despised yet curious, feared yet fascinated, I always appear in people's monts of despair, for if they were not despaired, they wouldn't think of . This is the curse they've placed on ..."

Lucifer first widened his eyes, then covered them, saying, "It's over, another mad one! I knew anyone associated with Shiller would have this day...."

Half-kneeling on the spot in silence for a while, Lucifer stood up and turned to Azazel, "Don't count on Constantine, find out what Gabriel is doing."

"Your Majesty, you allowed us to collectively break the pact, just to lure Gabriel, but the people of the Great Mage Alliance are planning to renegotiate with us. My agent also hasn't heard any news from Gabriel, is he really giving up the opportunity to control the magic realm?"

"I hope not." Lucifer and Azazel walked out of the palace together, and he said as he walked: "That would an he has bigger plans, beyond even the human world."

"Could he actually invade Hell?"

"He's always wanted to do that, provoked our rage, and forced us to wage a second war. We cannot let him succeed, find his location first, and have an agent co to my bar as soon as there's news."

The noon in Plymouth was still sowhat gloomy, the clouds were very low, as if they could wring out water at any ti. The long-accumulated rain clouds finally couldn't bear the burden. When the pea-sized rain fell, the pedestrians on the street quickly wrapped their coats tightly and hurried to their destinations.

Shiller led Red Hood down the staircase to the basent of the tower. As he opened the door, he was slightly stunned and said, "Interesting."

Red Hood walked ahead, he looked around the scene in the basent, checked the completely shriveled egg shell fragnts stuck to the ground, then looked at the magic array drawn in the center, and finally fixed his gaze on a puddle of blood in the corner of the wall.

"Find anything?" Shiller asked.

"I'm not as good at deduction as Tim." Redhood frowned and said: "But I can still see that this pool of blood and the other things around don't seem to match."

"Looking at the tiline, the blood-drawn magic array and the blood-laced strange fragnts appeared earlier, while this pool of blood is later. The blood used to draw the magic array and the blood-red fragnts don't seem quite like human blood, even if there is human blood in them, they should be a mix of multiple blood types, but the blood by the wall belongs to one person."

"Good, so whose blood do you think this is?"

"I'm not sure." Red Hood shook his head, very frankly said: "Only Tim could determine gender, age, body shape, and even profession just by looking at the blood. Sotis I even suspect him of being a vampire. How can he guess so much just from a little blood?"

Shiller also walked into the room, carefully bypassing the magic array and those disgusting fragnts, making sure his shoes didn't get dirty. He walked over to the wall, stared at the pool of blood and said.

"This is Constantine's blood, he beca food for Cain."

"And the body?" Red Hood looked left and right and said: "Vampires should only drink blood, so where did the rest of the body go?"

"That's the problem. Soone took my stuff and left before us." Shiller squatted down and examined the shape of the edge of the blood carefully, then said: "Or the body left by itself."

Red Hood shuddered, he looked again at the dim room and the strangely shaped sacrificial tools on the table. He felt a chill down his spine but couldn't help but ask: "The body left by itself? Could it be that Constantine really ran out of Hell?"

The next second, Red Hood locked eyes with Shiller's desolate gray eyes, he imdiately took a step back, shrank his neck and said: "Of course, that's impossible. Constantine would certainly listen to you."

Shiller withdrew his gaze, staring at the footprint on his shoes, squinting slightly and saying: "So soul entered Constantine's body and controlled it to leave here, so the question arises, who is he? Where has he gone now? And why did he do this?"

The chaotic noise ca from inside the bar, the loud music made the floor vibrate, Bennett covered his ears then turned to Jim and said: "Do we really have to co here? I'm really going deaf from the noise!"

"Calm down." Deadman Boston said: "This group of people is still singing and dancing now, that ans they are in good shape. These are the allies we want."

Jim didn't say anything, he pushed open the door of the bar and quickly went in. The tall guard at the door glanced at the Nightblade on his waist, didn't say anything, sneered, and let them in.

Jim walked quickly through the crowd dancing in the dance pool towards the bar, where there was a black man, dressed in a jazz style, was wiping glasses facing the liquor cabinet. He took a deep breath, stepped forward, knocked on the counter and said to the black man.

"Midnight, long ti no see, how have you been lately?"

When the man called Midnight turned around and saw Jim, he raised his eyebrows and squinted his eyes, snorted twice using his nose and said.

"Master of the Dark Night? The legendary hero Maya's got ti to visit?"
