Under Spider Man's leadership, the human race reclaid Earth and completely eradicated the two types of zombie virus, but the problem was far from resolved.
Spider Man knew who created the cycle of the two universes, so before leaving this universe, he had to go to the moon to find traces of the Observer.
Spider Man knew that the Observer was not easy to deal with. Under the circumstances where the zombie virus in the other universe was not resolved, the Observer might not believe that he could solve the virus and stop creating the cycle.
In Spider Man's view, these alien races had an arrogant attitude towards humans, thinking that humans were weak and helpless, and only external forces could solve disasters. So even if Spider Man explained his own solution to the zombie virus, they might think their thod was more effective.
Spider Man also understood the Observer's strength, so he took the aerospace fighter provided by Nick alone and flew to the surface of the moon to negotiate with the Observer.
When he saw the Observer on the moon, he knew that the Observer was not affected by the cosmic reset, and he retained the mory of every reincarnation.
Unexpectedly, the Observer's attitude was very good. He patiently explained the ins and outs of the whole matter to Spider Man and said that he felt compelled to act as well.
The Observer sighed and looked at Spider Man, saying, "We are a very ancient race. I have witnessed the birth and destruction of countless universes. After a certain unfortunate accident, my kin and I swore never to interfere with the developnt of any civilization, but to be a pure observer."
"Throwing the zombie sentinel into your universe was already against the rules of my race. Uatu might get into trouble, but I had no other choice. The insane zombies would build transmitters, and then spread the terrible virus to each universe, only the cycle can limit the virus within a controllable range."
"I knew there would be soone who could break this cycle. I am waiting for that day to co. I am glad that you have co to with a ssage of victory, but I still have to tell you, you are one step too late."
The observer pointed at Spider Man, who looked at him puzzled, not understanding what he was saying.
"You didn't only co here to stop from continuing to create the cycle. You also want to know what is hidden behind this terrible disaster... but just a few minutes ago, your companions learnt the truth from . They drove into the depths of the multiverse, and asked not to tell you anything."
"My companions?" Spider Man was extrely puzzled.
Then he saw a complex look on the Observer's face. The Observer took two steps backwards and said to Spider Man, "Please don't make uncomfortable. I don't want to be decapitated by them to make an engine."
"So you an soone found out from you the truth about the arrival of the zombie virus before , and then they went after the murderer?"
The Observer nodded.
Spider Man anxiously said, "Who is the murderer? They just chased after him recklessly. Aren't they afraid of traps?"
The Observer was silent again. He quickly said with a complex tone, "I think you should be more worried about the murderer."
"So who is the murderer? Tell !" Spider Man was stern. He wouldn't usually interrogate anyone with such a domineering attitude, but this disaster had tempered his character and made his kindness sharper.
He stared straight at the observer, with an attitude that said, "If you don't tell today, don't dare to think about ending well." The observer shook his head slightly.
Just as Spider Man was about to do it, the observer said, "One of your comrades told that if you really want to know the truth, I can tell you."
"But he reminded , don't forget that your hotown is still in deep trouble. Your priority now is to completely eradicate all zombie viruses."
"And you don't need to worry about this. I will assist you, because this matter also has sothing to do with and my clans."
"Tell the truth." Spider Man said as he stepped forward, "Don't hide anything, I will see through all your lies."
"I have no intention to hide, but this matter is a bit complicated. Let's go to my sanctuary first, and we'll talk from the beginning."
So then, Spider Man followed the Observer to his sanctuary built on the far side of the moon. It's called a sanctuary, but it was actually just a simple tent. Yet, within the tent there seed to be another dinsion. The Observer lit a fire here and began telling his story slowly.
"One month before the disaster struck these two universes, I heard bad news from my kin. A human-made creature was spreading disaster in the multiverse, and he nad himself 'Infinite Ultron'."
"One of the observers in a universe almost fell into his hands. It was during those brief seconds of contact with him that he activated our talent for quantum observation, revealing Infinite Ultron's upcoming plan. He wished to destroy all humans in the multiverse."
Spider Man frowned deeply and asked, "Has he gone mad? What has he got against humans?"
"He felt that humans would eventually destroy him one day, so he decided to take the initiative. The bottom line is, he selected 99 different universes and tried different thods, and the universe you reside in was one of them."
"So, his thod of eradicating my universe was by spreading zombie virus?!" Spider Man said incredulously, "But I've never heard of Ultron having that capability before!"
The Observer pursed his lips, seeming hesitant to speak. However, he eventually said, "It's not just Infinite Ultron, he should also have a mysterious accomplice. We just can't confirm who it is yet. The zombie virus is likely his handiwork."
After gathering his thoughts, the Observer continued: "I didn't pay much attention to this news until a bunch of zombie superheroes fell from the sky. That's when I realized the disaster had already happened."
"Our unique talent allows us to trace back the cause from the consequences, but I didn't expect Infinite Ultron to be stronger than I thought. When I saw him, he saw too."
"After he spread the zombie virus, he left to attend to other plans. But once he realizes that his asures have taken effect, he will inevitably return to accelerate the spread of the disaster."
"I don't know if I can handle him, so I have to use my territorial advantage to create so trouble for him. These two endlessly cycling universes are a trap. I hope it can hold back Infinite Ultron who cos to investigate, or at least buy so ti because forces are gathering in the cosmos to resist him."
"I must apologize to you, kid. Your awakening was an accident, but I can't terminate an entire plan because of you. The zombie virus is the bait to lure the prey, so even if I can eradicate it, I have to keep it because Infinite Ultron poses a greater threat."
Frowning, the Observer looked sowhat vacant as he appeared to be observing sothing else through ti and space.
"But I did not expect that the bait I released did not lure Infinite Ultron, but drew another group of special guests...a special Spider-Man from the Multiverse...this is a bit too special."
Spider-Man clenched his fists, but at that mont, the Observer suddenly stretched out his hand and touched his forehead. With a flash of golden light, Spider-Man saw what the Observer saw a few minutes ago.
When a sky-covering gigantic skull appeared, the moon seed like a speck of dust in his pupil, appearing exceedingly small, vulnerable.
"Galactus?!" The Observer who was standing on the Moon nad the skull, but the response was not from Galactus.
"Hello, Observer, this is Iron Man Tony Stark. My friends and I want to know who's behind the zombie disaster. Do you know who it is?"
The Observer stepped back in shock, he exclaid when he saw a figure in the darkness of Galactus's pupil: "Are you...Are you the Iron Demon God?! The Iron Man who transcended the individual universe? How are you here?!"
"I hope you can first answer my question, Mr. Observer. You and your brethren are well-inford, and I believe I have the capacity to solve a bit of trouble for you."
The Observer narrowed his eyes as if considering, but soon another figure that appeared in another pupil shocked him.- he saw Dr. Shiller.
The Observer spilled everything he knew like spilt beans on the spot.
Seeing his mories, Spider-Man also recognized the figure of Shiller and said in surprise, "Isn't that the doctor in the white coat at the Avengers Base that day? Who is he? Why are you so afraid of him?"
The Observer shook his head, made a gesture of silence, and then placed his hand on Spider-Man's shoulder. Spider-Man glanced at his fingers.
"Go back, Spider-Man, to solve the problems of your universe. When they need you, listen to the 'web'. You are crucial."
Spider-Man left the tent and saw New York basking in the sunlight again as the Earth rotated, while his hotown was still imrsed in darkness and disaster.
The Observer was right, he has to leave.
Inside the Star Devouring Engine, Eddie, just woke up, and walked out of the room stretching to the cracking of his bones.
Walking through the corridor, Eddie arrived in the hall, where only Stark was absorbed in his experint and others were nowhere to be seen.
Eddie yawned and said: "Where's Doctor Shiller? After a rest, he told to see him for a check-up. Hasn't he woken up yet?"
"He woke up earlier than you did, but he went to another universe to get help. It will take a while before he's back."
"Get help? Who did he go to find?"
Before Stark could answer, the dazzling light from a transporter lit up behind Eddie. Turning around, he saw Shiller and two figures trailing behind him.
"Let introduce, Barry Allen and Harley Quinn," Shiller gently patted Barry on the back, ushering him to step forward.
Eddie curiously looked at the two children standing in front of him, while Venom nastily ca out, snapping open a huge mouth and roaring at the two children.
The next second, a small pale hand grabbed Venom's tongue and tugged it down hard. A scream echoed within the Star Devouring Engine.
"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!"
