With Gordon's help, Peter managed to unravel the tiline.

Two months ago, Joker unleashed the Titan virus. Once he acquired this virus, he saw an opportunity.

He feigned wanting to use the virus to create more villains and even stord Arkham Asylum, but was eventually apprehended.

This seed like another one of Joker's diabolical plans to destroy Gotham, but this was all just a facade.

Joker secretly used his own blood, which contained the Joker virus, to infect five ordinary people. He confird that the Joker virus would endow infectees with so of his characteristics.

Six weeks ago, Batman stumbled upon these ordinary people infected with the Joker virus. He didn't fully apprehend Joker's plan at the ti, busying himself with the Titan virus and rely sent these infected people to his base.

One month ago, Batman was injected with Joker's blood. They had their final showdown at the Gotham Grand Theater, where Joker died from a Titan virus outbreak, having failed to receive the antidote in ti.

Three weeks ago, Batman entered Battleworld and encountered Peter. He was even willing to pay a hefty price to bring Peter into his universe.

Two weeks ago, Peter began his investigation in the city. He discovered Scarecrow's plot to manufacture the fear gas, formulated a plan, and embarked on it, starting off by kidnapping the Black Mask.

A week ago, Scarecrow and Penguin Man struck a deal. Penguin man provided Scarecrow with arms and military vehicles to execute his fear gas destruction plan.

A few days ago, Gordon discovered Batman's base where he kept those infected with the Joker virus. This led to a disagreent between the two.

It's evident that there are two peculiarities regarding Batman's actions throughout this series of events.

Firstly, Batman already had two Robins but he still insisted on bringing Peter, even at great cost.

Secondly, Batman kept all those infected with the Joker virus but neither treated them nor imposed strict containnt asures. He just left them be.

These points inevitably lead Peter to draw a connection.

Certainly, at the beginning, Batman didn't anticipate that Peter would have his own plan and act so decisively.

However, Batman's original plan must have involved Peter. Otherwise, there would be no need to hire Peter at great cost when he already had two youthful aids.

So, why does Batman, who already has two Robins and the Prophet Barbara, feel the need to hire him?

Peter wondered, what's the major difference between him and the two Robins and Barbara?

What made Batman decidedly hire him?

The first thing Peter thought of was his research ability. But upon reflection, he realized that Batman showed a clear inclination to hire him even before he ntioned his research experience.

What about him caught Batman's attention before he introduced himself?

This happened when Jack and Jason had conflicts. Peter and Batman ended up fighting because they both tried to diate. It was from this point that Batman's attention shifted to him.

Does that an what Batman values is his fighting prowess?

Peter's head was smoking.

Is this the world of conspiracies? This isn't just thinking three steps ahead, this was planning five years ahead. Everything must be traced back to the initial point to find a thread of evidence.

Spinning a web is too difficult! A spider was roaring inside him.

Although he was complaining, Peter continued thinking. If Batman valued his fighting abilities, especially those superior to his two Robins, who was Peter expected to fight against in Batman's original plan?

The options were vast. Gotham was not lacking in high-powered criminals. Upon consideration, there wasn't any particular villain who required a martial arts expert from another universe to defeat.

With his recent experience of being sched against by Batman, Peter realized that regardless of which villain Batman wished to counteract, there would hardly be any mishap as long as preparations were made ahead of ti. There doesn't seem to be any villain that only he can tackle.

Peter then rembered that Batman locked up the Joker virus infectees, which he once thought had so relation to his hire.

If he was to continue along the line of thought processing, Batman was trying to free himself from Joker's tornt by making others Joker. Then why didn't he act right away?

Although Batman was kept busy by Peter's diversion plan after the fear gas disaster broke out, there was still ti to perform operations in the base.

Peter felt he still lacked so understanding of Batman. So he shared his analysis with Poison Ivy and Gordon, hoping to decipher Batman's intentions by tapping into their knowledge of him.

Poison Ivy didn't provide any useful clues, but Gordon said, "No, Batman wouldn't do that."

"Those infected with the Joker virus are patients, not criminals. Even if they were criminals, even the incorrigible Joker, Batman would want to save them."

"If he allowed Joker to resurrect in others, wouldn't that be tantamount to harming them instead of saving them? Batman is a superhero, how could he do that?"
