It's a complete ss, Peter thought, he couldn't figure out any clues. He was definitely not well versed in mystic studies. This was all too abstract for him.

Suddenly, he heard a series of rapid footsteps, followed by the blinding lights of the illumination equipnt and the sounds of gun cocks.

Peter, who grew up in the Queens District, quickly raised his hands and squatted to the ground, yelling in that direction, "Don't shoot, don't shoot! I'm unard, I just stumbled in here!"

"Peter?"

A surprised voice ca across, but Peter didn't dare to look up, as he realized his Spider-sense was missing.

He kept his hands visible and slowly stood up at the slowest speed. Coulson had already rushed over to help him up.

"God, what are you doing here?" Coulson holstered his gun and said, "Did you make this?"

Peter gave an awkward grin. Coulson leaned in, adopting an investigative stance. Peter sighed and said, "In so ways, I did, but not entirely. This can be regarded as Iron Man's masterpiece."

"What?!"

Coulson imdiately beca on high alert, staring at Peter, "Are you sure? Is this done by Iron Man Tony Stark? When?"

"Not too long ago," Peter recalled and said, "But then the project entered the calculation waiting period, and I was unsure of the subsequent progress."

He looked up again at the huge object and said, "Didn't expect him to really make it, and I don't know if it would be useful."

"What is this thing for?"

"Theoretically, it's for propelling the cosmos. It's a universe engine."

Coulson was taken aback, looking at Spider Man he asked, "Where does Stark intend to push our cosmos to?!"

"I don't know."

"You helped him build it without knowing?!"

Peter pursed his lips and said, "Mr. Stark only said it was to avoid a possible future disaster, it might be useful."

Coulson smacked his forehead and took a deep breath, then looked at Peter and said, "Iron Man is out of control, don't you know? He manipulated a cha and another version of himself to fight a massive battle in the sky above San Francisco, even blowing up the Golden Gate Bridge!"

Peter quickly recalled what Bruce had ntioned. His expression beca serious again, re-examining the giant machine and said, "At that ti, I didn't notice anything strange. Plus, I was only responsible for the inspection of so parts manufacturing, so it was not that significant."

"But we can't leave this thing here," Coulson stared at the massive object alongside Peter, "If the evil Stark gets it, he might use it to blow up the cosmos."

"Are you sure you can move it?" Peter seed a bit worried as well, he said, "Despite it being made for propelling the cosmos, but I'm sure this thing can be used as a bomb."

"That's not for you to decide, boy. Find a way to get it sowhere Stark can't reach," Coulson forcefully patted the railing next to him, "We have to be quick, otherwise, it'll be too late!"

The first place Peter thought of was S.H.I.E.L.D. After all, S.H.I.E.L.D. is supposed to accommodate such items. But this thing is essentially a huge bomb. What if Stark broke in and activated it, wouldn't S.H.I.E.L.D. be completely destroyed?

Then there's the uninhabited areas on Earth, but unfortunately, Peter knew that the power of this thing going off is not sothing an uninhabited area can withstand.

How about tossing it into space? But they don't have the capability or the ti to throw this thing far enough. It would still be dangerous if it's near Earth.

The key question is whether it will explode or not. If it doesn't, it is safe no matter where it is. If it does, it's a different story.

But even though Peter made so of the parts, most of it was completed by Stark. So, Stark is the only one who can determine if this thing will explode.

It must be put in an unreachable place for Stark. But neither Earth nor space could be said to be a place Stark can't reach. Where could be his forbidden area?

Wait a minute, Peter squinted, he thought of a place, and that is the mysterious foggy space.

The Black Sun and the mysterious Guest in the Fog apparently had an indescribable relationship. So the Black Sun brought itself here, did it want him to send this universe engine into the foggy space?

Does it want the universe engine?

Peter was now a bit conflicted, it was obvious that the evil Stark would be a enormous threat, but the Black Sun might be no different.

He can't guarantee that neither of them would destroy the cosmos. What should be his choice then?

Just then, all the chanical arms mounted on the ceiling of the cave turned towards them, illuminating the place where Peter and Coulson were standing with a barrage of lights. Suddenly, the red light blinks, and the alarm goes off.

"Intruder detected... Intruder detected..."

Coulson quickly pulled the slow-reacting Peter into a corner of the cave. May, behind him, raised her weapon, holding a gun in both hands, leaning out her upper body, and fired two shots, knocking out two lights.

But soon a swarm of small drones flew over. Coulson pulled Peter and ran. He had already noticed that sothing was off with Spider Man.

"I've lost my superpowers!" Peter yelled, "Run!!"

There was no need for him to say it. The agility of the two agents far outmatched his. They darted through the various protective asures like nimble rats.

"Sothing's wrong," Peter yelled again, "The defence level is too low. This isn't the firepower that Iron Man should have!"

"This ans this big guy is more dangerous than we imagined!" the experienced Coulson imdiately responded. "Even the man who made it didn't dare to deploy heavy firepower here. Stark can't be sure it won't explode!"

Peter really wanted to swear, but without his superpowers, he could only scurry away with Coulson. They ended up concealing themselves in a small corner by the waterfall, temporarily avoiding pursuit.

"If you have a plan, better think of it fast, Peter. Stark has definitely noticed us," Coulson said after glancing at his watch. "His cha Army should arrive soon."

Peter's mind raced. Although the black sun had saved him, that didn't an it was friendly. And if bloody Bruce had charged into the fog from the Golden Gate Bridge, it ant the current Stark was even worse.

Gods can't be trusted, even less so forr comrades. How should he choose?

In Stark's office at Stark Industries in San Francisco, where Justice Iron Man was busy operating the system and network, White Can, struggling for control over the ch, paused suddenly because he saw a terrifying alert ssage.

Soone had entered the cave where the cosmic engine was stored.

White Can was sowhat panicked, he had hidden the Cosmos Engine behind Niagara Falls, how was it still found?!

When he initially created the Cosmic Engine, he had thought it might be large. Once the blueprint was finished, he knew it was big, but he didn't expect it to be so noisy.

The Cosmos Engine, which borrowed computation capacity from other universes, was essentially a frighteningly loud alarm clock; it ran full ti, and there was no way to place it within Stark Group because it would be easily discovered.

White Can thus stashed it behind Niagara Falls, figuring the thunderous waterfall was noisy enough, so they could be noisy together.

White Can couldn't understand how anyone was able to find it, and even triggered the safety alarm system?

There were lots of tourists around Niagara Falls, and it was normal to accidentally fall into the pool below the waterfall, so the safety alarm system would only be triggered by weapon-carrying units, especially those with advanced weapons and heavy firepower.

Without even looking at the alarm ssage, White Can knew it must be those S.H.I.E.L.D. agents again.

But just as Coulson predicted, White Can didn't dare to install heavy firepower near the Cosmic Engine for fear of triggering an explosion. Therefore, upon realizing soone was ddling with the engine, he imdiately assembled the cha Army.

Luckily, Niagara Falls was not far from Stark Group headquarters in the Northeastern United States. Before long, countless black and golden chs appeared above Ontario.

The vanguard was heading towards Niagara Falls, but in the blink of an eye, White Can saw a huge yellow creature bite two of his chs to pieces.

"What the hell is that?"

White Can stared at the yellow creature with wings and sharp fangs, bewildered. He couldn't rember such a creature existing on Earth.

More chs rose past the horizon, and that monster seed to have turned into a little girl. White Can didn't dig deeper, as he had to deal with the Cosmic Engine problem at once.

Countless chs hovered outside the waterfall, their eyes glowing red, illuminating Coulson's figure, then shifted onto Peter behind him.

"You're a disappointnt to , Peter, once again."

A voice echoed inside the waterfall, and a larger ch floated into the cave under the waterfall, hovering above the trio, eyeing them coldly.

"You're the one who has disappointed ." Peter stared back at the ch with an equally cold gaze. "You're not Iron Man, you're not Stark. You have no right to speak to like this!"

His words seed to ignite White Can's fury. He extended his hand and aid his cannon directly at Peter.

Peter realized he had no choice.

He charged toward the massive machine.

The mont he touched the outer components of the machine, Peter looked up and yelled, "Take with you!!!"

But an infuriated White Can was faster. The colossal ch rushed at him quicker than Peter could reach.

Peter vanished into the thick fog, while the ch ramd straight into the Cosmic Engine.

In an instant, ti froze.

An explosion occurred, a mind-bogglingly massive explosion.

The Cosmic Engine exploded.

Countless scenes flashed past Peter like streaks of light. As he slowly turned his head amidst the flow of ti and space, he discovered that a naless imnse force within the engine was rushing toward all universes connected to the Cosmic Engine along the computational channel.

They were almost all of the cosmic bubbles in the multiverse.

They shattered in an instant. All the scenes broke apart in a mont, lives, planets, universes all reduced to silence.

Then, they were reborn.

Dim lights appeared and turned into blurred visions. More twinkling lights erged. The bubbles were like currents under the sea, also like jubilantly darting schools of fish; in the mont after the cosmos was emptied, they filled up this desolate region once again.

The stories within each bubble were rewritten, and more bubbles appeared. Those entities representing the very universes themselves first withered, then resurrected.

Upon awakening, they embraced their universes and welcod the new life with these small creatures, welcoming this entirely new world.

They celebrated their rebirth, celebrated the advent of a brand new era with the universes that nurtured them - a totally new and unique Marvel.
