Move the ti a bit further back, to when Eddie left the underground Life Foundation and saw Purple Spiderman fighting a silver-gray Riot.
The Riot held down by Spiderman threw a fierce punch, Spiderman rolled avoiding it. Just as he planned to charge forward to stop the Riot, a massive black shadow launched at him roaring.
Spiderman leaped back, dodging the pouncing Venom. The Venom, also transford into a monstrous figure, with one punch landed squarely on Riot's face. Spiderman asked Phantom in his mind, "What on earth is happening? Do you symbiotes have a grudge against each other?"
"It's hard to explain," Phantom's voice sounded a little helpless.
By this ti, Venom and Riot had already started fighting. Phantom spoke to Peter," Venom and Riot do have a grudge against each other, but that was when Venom was just born."
"I still haven't figured out what your species is all about? Why..."
As Peter was about to speak, he saw Riot's two arms transform into two huge blades, slashing at Venom. Venom did not back down; black sli erupted, countless tentacles hamred at Riot, the two were evenly matched and began moving outside the base building.
Peter chased after them, while Phantom was explaining the phenonon of symbiotes to him.
"Actually, we're not called symbiotes. Our race is 'Klinta'. We were born on the Klinta Planet in the Fairy Constellation's Nebula. Our Creator is Nal, the God of Symbiotic Bodies."
"He's an evil and ancient creature. After he created the symbiotes, he used us to invade the cosmos. Later, the majority of symbiotes determined that his actions were evil. We collectively overthrew him and imprisoned him on our howorld, Klinta."
"Seems like Riot is not on your side? And what's up with Venom? What's their feud about?"
Phantom sighed. Peter was amazed at how human this female symbiote's emotions were. Through the cerebral waves provided by Phantom, he was able to sense her complex emotions.
Her emotions are much steadier than Venom's, and she even speaks in an organized manner. Peter almost couldn't feel that she's an alien creature.
The raspy female voice continued: "The reason we betrayed our creator was because of the nature of symbiotes. When we parasitize to other species, if they are just, we will feel influenced by their righteousness."
"Nal's unrestrained destruction and ruinous actions are seen as evil by most races. Many of our fellow symbiotes deeply felt like we were aiding a tyrant when we parasitized on many righteous races, and most of us began to awaken."
"After an accident, the connection between most symbiotes and Nal was cut off. We then defeated and imprisoned him."
"But the devastation caused by Nal is irreversible. Many of our fellow symbiotes felt guilt, so we ford an organization nad 'Cosmic Special Agents.'"
"The mbers of this organization choose righteous and kind alien races to parasite and beco partners, helping advance their civilizations or rebuild the ones Nal has enslaved and destroyed."
"You just ntioned this organization. Are you a part of it?"
"Correct, I'm one of the current leaders."
"So what's the deal with Riot? I just heard you call him a 'Cosmic Special Agent traitor.'"
"Yeah, it's exactly what it sounds like. Riot was a mber of Cosmic Special Agents, but he betrayed us."
"As you have seen, our life form is unusual. We mostly need to have a host so we can act freely, but there are exceptions. On Klinter, our howorld, symbiotes can move freely even without a host."
"So even though our howorld turned into a prison for Nal, there are still many symbiotes living on it."
"A long ti ago, there was a split in our organization. So agents who stayed on Klinter were seduced by Nal."
"Nal's evil and chaotic influence infected them again, causing them to betray the Cosmic Special Agents and beco Nal's minions once more. Their leader was Riot."
"Just like his na, he led so Cosmic Special Agents in a mutiny. They submitted to Nal again, and they tried to break him out of prison."
"I understand that part now." Peter was chasing after the two battling monsters and communicating with Phantom in his mind.
"So what's up with Venom? What's his grudge with Riot?"
"Venom is a madman; this is sothing all symbiotes agree on; he is completely abnormal."
Phantom was a bit unsure about how to express it to Peter. Peter felt her taking a mont to think. Then he heard Phantom say," I know you were once parasitized by Venom, but I have to tell you, his mode of operation is abnormal."
"You might not believe , but all symbiotes participating in the Cosmic Special Agents have the sa guidelines. We have a complete set of parasitic rules that help us develop a good symbiotic relationship with our hosts."
