In Constantine's narration, Xi Wana learned that possessing magic talent ant not that you could beco a magician, but that you had to beco one.

Moreover, under normal circumstances, you had to be a good magician, otherwise, it was death.

Regarding the situation with Shazam, Constantine had thoroughly spilled the beans, feeling sowhat like soone had tried to show off in an area where you were an expert. What was previously regarded as high-and-mighty within the industry was now seen as a joke.

"I guess the Seven Deadly Sins were sent by his creditors to monitor him," Constantine said, "Of course, it's also possible that he set them up as a defense against the creditors, but anyway, they're not any sort of treasure or powerful Divine Artifact."

"But for an ordinary person..."

"Which ordinary person can enter the Rock of Eternity?"

Xi Wana really wanted to point to himself, but after Constantine looked at him for a while, he said, "You're not an ordinary person either. If, as you claim, the Seven Deadly Sins can stay inside one of your eyes and you can barely control them, it shows you do have a talent for controlling power, it's just that your soul's value is too low for the devils to care."

Xi Wana's hopes reignited, and he asked, "So, can I use Magic?"

"You could, but are you sure you really want to take on debt? Although there are many regulations now, if your soul's value is too low, you won't be able to borrow much Energy, and what do you want to use magic for?"

Xi Wana displayed a complex expression.

"Oh, I get it, you want revenge, don't you? But I advise you not to do it," Constantine continued. "I've told you, this old man is thinking of reincarnation. If you finish him off, won't you just be doing him a big favor?"

"You said you've already used the Seven Deadly Sins to inflict serious injuries on him, so that's probably enough. After such an injury, it'll be tough for him to control his power again, and he'll need to find a successor urgently; plus, his creditors might lock in on him, too. He's in for so big trouble."

Constantine watched Xi Wana's facial expressions, knowing that this man was highly likely the new principal, under whom he might have to make a living in the future. So, he added another piece of advice.

"Revenge doesn't necessarily an you have to beat him up, especially since there's no Grand Mage Alliance anymore. His influence has long since vanished. Now is the era of the new Magic; if you beco the principal of the Gotham Magic Academy, whatever you say goes."

Hearing Constantine co to the sa conclusion as Shiller, Xi Wana no longer had reservations. He said, "Alright, one day I'll make him understand who's right and who's wrong."

"There's one more thing," said Shiller, "Since we're building a new Magical World, we definitely have to regulate the ways magic is used. The Magical Defense Network is nearly complete, and the Global Sanctuaries are gradually coming into operation."

"Ti to pull the net tight?" asked Constantine. "Well and good, I'm tired of the non-stop infiltration by Heaven and Hell; they get antsy if they can't make a big fuss every year."

Xi Wana looked at them curiously.

Shiller introduced him to the DC Earth Magical Defense Network project, overseen by Strange, which was essentially copying the Marvel version, although it used Green Lantern Energy and later, a bit of Barbados Energy as well.

The Marvel Earth Magical Defense Network, besides guarding against external infiltration, also has considerable internal supervision. There are detection devices in temples around the world, which can imdiately respond to any fluctuation of Magic Power.

This not only prevents Angels and Devils from secretly luring humans but also deters greedy humans from deceiving Devils and Angels. It's a solution that serves both purposes.

With this system, industry standards can be established, aning future magicians will need certifications for their positions.

That's the case on Marvel Earth. The temples around the world are the official organization of the Magic realm. If you want to be a Mage, you must go through Kamar-Taj's process. Of course, you can choose not to be a Mage and just be a Magic Energy user, but you still have to register with Kamar-Taj or at least be known to them.

Once such records exist, if you cause any trouble, Kamar-Taj can lock onto the target imdiately. If you don't wish to experience a personal greeting from the Supre Magician, it's best to turn yourself in early.

This strict monitoring ensures quick response to major incidents around the world, like an ancient tomb with magic power unexpectedly being dug up, or soone mishandling a Magical tool causing an explosion; the Sanctuaries can dispatch imdiately.

The deterrent effect also intimidates petty criminals, who dare not make big moves using magic, much less run amok.

So, traditionally, issues on the Marvel Magic Side are mostly internal to Kamar-Taj, revolving around the Supre Magician, with little chance for an unknown to make a major stir.

Although this unavoidably leads to class stratification, magic inherently involves class differences. The distinction between having or lacking talent is not about good or bad, but about capability, and thus, it's not a big concern.

Shiller plans to establish the sa system on DC Earth and has already made good progress in cataloging all Magic Power. The cataloging is going surprisingly well.

Clearly, there's a shell over Earth now, overseen by several bigwigs. If you want through, you need a permit, and cozying up to these big shots can expedite the process, right?

Therefore, magical worlds like Magic World Maya, which are closely connected to the human race but nowhere near as powerful as Heaven and Hell, are generally keen to respond to policies. Now they have even blended into the faculty of Gotham Magic Academy.

What is more troubleso are the organizations on Earth. As Constantine said, many immortals, like Shazam, obtained their powers thousands of years ago. They simply found a crevice to hide in and wouldn't show their faces for thousands of years, making them very difficult to account for.

Yet, it is imperative to keep track because these individuals have always been causing trouble behind the scenes.

If Xi Wana had not encountered Shiller, the power of the seven deadly sins in his eyes might have suddenly erupted and caused an accident. The people on Earth would investigate only to conclude that it was his own doing, completely unaware that Shazam was the true cause.

Now there are many like Xi Wana on Earth, all of whom are influenced by Grand Mages or Magical creatures hiding on Earth or nearby magical spaces.

These people care about nothing, impervious to all harm, but Earth suffers—they blow up one spot today and another tomorrow. Today a battle between good and evil, tomorrow a war among magicians. There is no end to their disruptions.

So despite the difficulties, we must keep track. Over the past few years, the first batch of students to enter Gotham Magic Academy has grown capable of handling things on their own. They are now beginning this task under the guidance and assistance of their ntors.

"Not to hide the truth from you, but that's also why we need a new principal," Shiller said. "You should know how troubleso it is to coordinate, and no one here is really up to the task."

Xi Wana smiled, for he was well aware that just the accounting alone included project initiation, transportation, reporting, summarization, confirmation, and so on, in addition to needing an ergency team and a supervisory team.

If the accounting were of a small scope, it would still be manageable. However, when it involves a national or global scale, the coordination among various departnts is severely tested.

For example, when soone travels to gather the necessary data for an investigation, the administrative departnt arranges the trip, the finance departnt reimburses the expenses, and then there are questions about how to ensure the accuracy of the data, how to report it up the chain, and how the data can support the company's current and future projects.

This is not sothing that outsiders can handle, especially for schools, where internal activities and external ones occur almost simultaneously, and the administrative staff is never sufficient. Many tis, faculty mbers take on administrative duties, making the scheduling of investigative trips and teaching ti a significant undertaking.

Xi Wana appeared eager to begin as he said, "In that case, the Rock of Eternity is also within the scope of this accounting, right?"

"Not just that, we have to account for Heaven and Hell too, especially the total of debts, lists of debt holders, credit lists..." Constantine said in fragnts.

"Oh, right," Shiller said, looking at Constantine, "Raven should have already co over, right? How is she adjusting?"

"Not bad, but I think she's a bit too nervous," Constantine said, shaking his head. "Indeed, she harbors a very powerful force within her. But compared to those first-graders who dare to summon soone like Michael for their first conjuration, she's being overly conservative."

"She's quite concerned about her father," Shiller said, standing up. "To so extent, she acts as her father's representative on Earth. Hence, her father is also within the scope of our accounting. Since we have her, there's no need to find soone else. I'll go and talk to her."

"You better not go right now," Constantine said with a teasing smile. "She and the Wayne Family's boss are hitting it off."

In the end, Shiller found Dick and Raven in the school's cafeteria. Raven seed much more cheerful, chatting and laughing with Dick as she carried her food tray.

Their presence here goes back to when they were sent to deliver a letter. The task was completed smoothly and they took a walk together on the streets afterward.

Hearing that Raven would be transferring to their school, Dick began to explain school life to Raven. But this ti, it wasn't about the fun stories within the school; it was about the regular school schedules, textbook contents, and how to get along with classmates—common knowledge items.

These things didn't hold the sa appeal as sports competitions or school events did. Attending classes and learning knowledge was tireso, especially in an elite high school with its extensive subjects and academic pressures.

Dick's grades had always been excellent. Naturally imbued with a top student's mindset, he kept reminding Raven about how to keep up with her classes, which only gave her a headache as she listened.

Afterward, Shiller took Raven to Dick's high school. Raven attended a class—or, more precisely, one-third of a class—before falling asleep.

After half a day of classes, Raven expressed to Shiller with great earnestness that although she really wanted to spend ti with Dick and the others, the knowledge taught at that school was not applicable to her.

It was clear that Raven was destined for the path of a magician. She might indeed need to live amongst ordinary people, but ultimately she would rely on the Magic Side for her bread and butter, so learning physics, chemistry, and biology was not particularly essential.

Shiller thought it over and agreed, considering that magic doesn't abide by common sense. Talking to a magician capable of telekinesis about the chanical advantage of a pulley system would be quite humorous.

Nevertheless, schooling was still necessary. Since Dick had just finished high school and had so ti left before starting college, Thomas and Bruce wanted him to enter a magical school for so intensive learning, preparing to cover both bases.

So Shiller simply enrolled Raven in Bruce's academy alongside Dick, making them classmates.

And after Shiller found Raven and explained the situation, Raven's expression sumd up to—"Find the Sanguine Demon, ?"
