Days as a Spiritual Mentor in American Comics Chapter 3756 - 2875: Reopening of Battleworld (Part 2)
Shiller's personalities had mostly congregated.
In fact, it was because they had occupied advantageous terrain; the forest atop the cliff had an exceptionally tall tree, and since they were all the sa person with identical thought processes, they all rushed toward that tree, so it wasn't long before they encountered each other.
Since they had discussed the starting strategy while adjusting to their bodies earlier, Greed had already discussed the opening approach with them; it was simply about increasing revenue and decreasing expenditures, going "all in."
The other Shillers also agreed not to spend points on anything else, opting for the lottery instead. After all, if they needed props, they could use the Prop Exchange Voucher, which was also available in the lottery pool; they weren't scarce, so it was unnecessary to spend precious points on props.
However, they now faced a problem—that damn profiteering System even charged for the base material packs, selling an ordinary steel and concrete material pack for 100 points each, which was barely enough to construct a small villa.
It wasn't that each person couldn't build a building with 100 initial points, but it was very inconvenient. Besides, only having the basic material pack ant constructing only bare structures. They'd need to spend money on furniture packs to make the living space comfortable.
The other Shillers were full of complaints about Greed: "Look at this lousy System you've designed. Why don't you just go rob people??"
Of course, Greed defended himself robustly, "You knew I am Greed, and yet you put in charge of developing a fee-based system. If we get fleeced, isn't it well deserved?"
The other personalities were at a loss for words. Only Arrogant saw through it, realizing that Greed surely had a counterasure in mind, so he said, "Don't keep us in suspense, I can't stand here any longer."
Leaning against the tree with his arms crossed, Greed grinned and said, "I wasn't planning to buy any props at all, so the price is just there to swindle suckers, anyone who buys it is a fool."
"Then what's your plan for building the base?"
"Of course, to find raw materials in the dungeons, which allows us to shear the System's wool and earn points. Is there anything better than that?"
"Why don't you just say we should bring a house in directly?" Arrogant rolled his eyes slightly and said: "Does this place look like you can build an ordinary house?"
"Rather, do you see anyone around here who can do the work?" Greed retorted unwillingly: "As if I could get ordinary building materials in here and you'd all be able to put up the house just like that."
"So what do you plan to do?"
"Use special materials, of course. I've sent you my wish dungeon." Greed operated the interface and then said: "Everyone should use points for the lottery, and we should be able to draw one. Once we enter this cosmos, I naturally have ways to acquire enough materials."
Everyone turned to look at the dungeon that Greed had picked out.
The vast majority of teams were quite peaceful since everyone was the sa person; even if their experiences were slightly different, it wasn't by much. They could almost be described as telepathic, with perfect understanding.
Of course, there were exceptions. At this mont, in a snowy field, a crimson laser beam sliced through an iceberg, followed imdiately by a red-and-blue figure whooshing past and more figures circling the fallen iceberg, hovering mid-air.
"Where did that guy go?!" said a Superman dressed in white with a giant S emblem on his chest as he scanned the surroundings, comnting, "How could there be such a madman among the Supern?!"
The other Supern looked at him, hesitant to speak when Clark from Shiller's universe bluntly remarked, "Before encountering him, we all thought you were the craziest, Lord."
The Justice Lord was montarily speechless; in his heart, he agreed with Clark's assessnt. He had thought himself to be the most unique among the Supern but was surprised to learn there was soone even more so.
Now, trapped under the iceberg, was soone who appeared no different from the other Supern but had a nacing red glow in his eyes. None of the Supern had any knowledge of his origin, only that he was a madman who attacked on sight, impossible to communicate with properly.
The iceberg failed to contain him for long, and soon he was back in the air. At that mont, an exceptionally muscular Superman flew over; it was Main Universe Superman who had used Cyclops' laser vision to cut the iceberg and subdue the mad Superman.
"I think we should send a cross-regional communication to ask Batman," said Main Universe Superman. "Let Batman try to locate the Batman from this madman's universe and see what's going on."
"Could it be that this guy is also infected with the Doomsday Virus?" another Superman flying in the air theorized, prompting the other Supern to look at him. He pursed his lips and added, "In my universe, Batman willingly took the Doomsday Virus and turned into a monster."
Obviously, he was omitting many details, but the other Supern didn't inquire further. The madman took flight again, and the Supern were once again engaged in a hard battle.
A group of Supern fighting one was not a losing battle, but this guy was clearly out of his mind, and restraining a madman was the real challenge.
Main Universe Batman was surveying the entire scene.
His location was sowhat unique, leading to so complications in eting up. Batman's base wasn't on the surface but in a natural underground cave that was interconnected and featured karsts, fissures, and endless abysses. Moreover, there was absolutely no signal inside, which made it hard for the Batn who didn't spawn nearby to find their way here, aside from the few who did et up.
Main Universe Batman was one of the luckier ones. He first encountered Justice Lord Universe Batman, then stumbled upon the Batmobile. They raced through the underground caves in the Batmobile, picked up a vampire Batman along the way and finally ca across Batwoman.
```
However, the Batmobile could only go so far. So of the smaller cave passages required crawling to get through, and they didn't want to explore those just yet, so they had to stop. They placed glow sticks in front of each hole, hoping that any Batman who saw them would co and find them.
Batwoman surveyed the spacious cavern and said, "I think the person who designed this ga did it on purpose. Because we're bats, they threw us into a cave..."
"It might also be a form of protection," the Primary Universe Batman was even more optimistic than she was. He said, "Do you think you'd be standing here, talking to rationally if we hadn't gone to your cosmos and you hadn't fought with the Queen of Atlantis?"
Batwoman waved her hand dismissively and said, "Let's not bring up ancient history. But I have indeed heard that there are many dangerous Batn in the cosmos. Like that guy."
They turned to look at the vampire Batman locked in the Batmobile. The guy was rational, could communicate, but the problem was he was a vampire, and apparently very hungry. When Batman had found him, he had nearly bitten Batman's neck.
Batwoman looked curiously at Batman and said, "You seem to be looking for soone. Who could be so important to you?"
"There are quite a few," Batman leaned against the Batmobile and said. "There are a couple of guys who'd better not show up here, but if they are here, I'd rather have them under my eye."
"You'd like everyone in the world under your eye," said the Justice Lord Universe Batman. "I'm planning to send a ssage to Clark. Does anyone have any objections?"
"No one is stopping you from being a brainiac," Batwoman said. "Just hope you can instruct him at all tis, and not let him co here to give us trouble in so ga."
The Justice Lord Universe Batman seed very Zen about it all. He said, "He doesn't need my guidance. He's got more initiative than most Clarks. In fact, a bit too much initiative."
Then, the Justice Lord Batman fell silent, apparently communicating with Clark. But not long afterward, he exclaid in surprise and said, "Does anyone here know this Superman?"
Batwoman leaned over to take a look and said, "Oh, what a surprise, isn't that Clark Kent?"
The Justice Lord Batman rolled his eyes and said, "I know all the Clarks look the sa, but look at his eyes."
The Primary Universe Batman ca over and took a look. Apart from the red glow in the eyes, he didn't see anything else. The Justice Lord Batman said, "This is a mad Superman. All the Supern are trying to contain him, and Clark is asking us if we have any solutions."
The Primary Universe Batman and Batwoman exchanged glances and turned their heads away in unspoken agreent. The Justice Lord Batman wanted to ask them what riddle they were trying to solve and then he realized it himself.
"Batman said to use Kryptonite."
As soon as those words were spoken, all the Supern were at a loss for words. The Main Universe Superman said, "No wonder he's managed to turn you into what you are now. Has he ever seen a psychiatrist?"
Just as they were speaking, they heard a roar from the sea, and a massive beast leaped up.
Doomsday?!!!
All the Supern were sowhat surprised, but soon they realized it wasn't Doomsday, because this creature was wearing a Superman uniform. Although the uniform was a different color than theirs, his face bore a resemblance to Clark Kent.
"This is bad." The Justice Lord quickly dodged and then with a touch of schadenfreude said, "Now there's a madman to take on a madman."
He was right. After all the Supern got out of the way, the Day of Destruction Superman set his sights on the mad Superman on the ground. Both collided, and the ice shattered instantly.
The Supern finally had a chance to return to the main issue. Being the most proactive among them, the Justice Lord took the initiative to say, "I think we should have a leader among us, and I think I'd be good for the role. What do you think?"
"What we need is a superman to lead us. Are you really a Superman?" asked the Main Universe Superman.
"I swear I am, but I know you won't believe it," said the Justice Lord, who was indeed more lively than the other Supern. "But the Batman I know is with the one you know right now, I think we are allies, and you should support ."
The Main Universe Superman really hesitated.
"Is anyone looking for Kryptonite?" A voice ca from the sea as another Superman flew up from the water. He smiled and said, "I thought our rendezvous point was underwater, I've been wandering around under there for a while. If it weren't for following this monster, I wouldn't have found you."
"Hello," the Main Universe Superman went forward to greet him. He was just about to reach out for a handshake when he suddenly dropped.
The other Supern quickly followed suit, but like moths to a fla, they all fell down one by one. Clark looked up to see the Superman holding a piece of Kryptonite in his hand.
With a splash, he too dropped down.
