"Damn it!" the driver cursed, "Is this guy also from the FBI? PIT (Precision Immobilization Technique) reeks of a blue-skinned dog!"
"Shake him off." Dario said coldly.
But just as he finished speaking, there was another close encounter. The driver jerked the steering wheel, but the car's montum was still out of control, suddenly skidding sideways and spinning onto the oncoming lane.
However, the driver hired by Dario was clearly not an ordinary person and had rich experience in dealing with PIT maneuvers. Instead of slamming on the brakes to reduce speed due to the violent shaking of the car body, he took advantage of the situation, drifting in the opposite direction.
Shiller also spun the steering wheel for an in-place U-turn, sticking closely to the back of the Lincoln.
Although most stretch Lincolns are used for ceremonial vehicles, their performance and power are actually not bad. While they can't compare with top-performance cars, they're still decent, and to enhance safety, the collision avoidance system is better designed to minimize car damage during a collision.
On the other hand, Shiller's Ford was just an average family car. Although it's a super-large model commonly seen in Arican households, its price is in a completely different league from the stretch Lincoln, so its specs are naturally inferior.
Yet, the driver of the stretch Lincoln seed to struggle with adapting to the car's length, unable to adequately control the rear half of the vehicle. After driving straight for a while, Shiller found the right mont to kick its rear end again.
The vehicle lost control more severely, swaying left and right, as if dancing funk on the road. The driver cursed while driving, and even Dario couldn't help but swore.
"I didn't expect you to drive this well, Doctor." JARVIS said, "I dare say even the best drivers in the Manhattan Police Departnt aren't as good as you."
"It's not my driving skills." Shiller replied modestly, but truthfully, "It's not Greed who's good at driving; it's the agent. He can even PIT Bruce."
Seeing the stretch Lincoln losing control, Shiller instead slowed down, trailing from a distance, like a cat deliberately letting a mouse run, preventing the Lincoln driver from executing an ergency brake to die together.
Their chase had brought them to the edge of Manhattan. This area was residential, with wide roads and sparse population. Dario saw the situation and a gleam flashed in his eyes.
"Stop the car." Dario said.
The driver turned his head to say sothing but gradually slowed down, pulling over to stop the car. Pursuing behind, Shiller also reduced speed, slowing down while turning right, then stuck his car tightly against the Lincoln, using the right front bumper to pin the left rear of the stretch Lincoln. With the length of the stretch Lincoln, no one could drive out from this angle.
Dario buttoned his suit as he got out of the car. Shiller also swung open the door and got out.
"Now you have every reason to break the promise." Standing by the car door, Shiller squinted his eyes slightly in the strong noon sunlight of New York, his eyelashes casting shadows, with gray pupils almost disappearing.
"No, I suddenly feel I should keep the appointnt, because now I've t soone even more irritating."
"Your pleasure."
With a low growl, Dario's body rapidly expanded, his suit torn to shreds. A bull-headed creature with brown fur and massive black horns stood up.
Shiller looked up, seeing the bull's eyes glowing with red light. A massive fist with three fingers smashed down, sending both cars on the ground flying into the air and flipping over to the other side. But Shiller's figure disappeared.
Dario turned and saw Shiller, who should have been in front of him, suddenly appear a few ters away by the roadside, standing there quietly staring at him.
Dario suddenly realized sothing. Shiller held out a hand, a familiar light flashed, and long silver threads floated and intertwined, condensing into a cloak. The sound of a long wand piercing through the air echoed in Dario's ears.
He twisted his body abruptly, dodging the wand attack. The figure leaped up, stepping on his just-raised arm, and jumped onto his head, forcefully stabbing the wand down.
Boom!
Roar!!!
A trendous force attacked from the back of his neck, causing Dario to stagger two steps, roll forward, and then try to grab the person behind him.
But at that mont, he recalled why that beam of light felt familiar—the surveillance footage of the Roxsen Information Storage Center bombing in Oregon showed the sa light. That was also the only information he could provide to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Endless rage engulfed Dario. He let out an angry roar, swinging his fists towards Shiller.
But that figure quickly disappeared again, elusive like a soft silver silk, intangible to the touch yet shimring with iridescent light.
The mont Dario swung his fists closer, he saw nothing under the hood but instinctively felt the other side was sneering mockingly.
This fueled Dario's rage even more, frantically pursuing and pounding. His eyes emitted red lasers, but unlike a physical attack that gouges pits on the ground, they vanished upon contact with solid matter. Only the invisible energies lingering in the air attested to the sinister and powerful nature of this attack.
Shiller's figure kept flashing, leaving Dario unable to touch him. But just as Shiller appeared again, Dario suddenly let out a low growl, inexplicable magical waves burst forth. Shiller felt his shoulder grow heavy.
"This is so kind of Earth Magic," Khonsu said, "In human terms, it's manipulating gravity. But it doesn't affect us because moonlight is elusive. Even if light falls on the ground, no one can grasp it."
Shiller flashed again, leaving the range of the gravity field. Seeing this move failed, Dario changed his tactics once more, red lights radiated from the centers of his palm, and magical ripples spread out continuously.
Then he raised his fists high and smashed downward. Two magical powers spread out like sothing tangible.
Out of caution, Shiller flew into the air, avoiding the magical energy mass. As far as the eye could see, everything touched by the magical energy was shackled in place by red chains.
"It's hard for us to touch him," Khonsu said, "He possesses a unique magical power, and any contact might trap us."
"We don't need to touch him, we just need to stall for ti."
The ensuing battle played out as Khonsu described, with Dario unable to catch the unpredictable moonlight, but Shiller also couldn't approach him. The two played cat and mouse for quite so ti, neither able to touch each other.
As the battle deadlocked, a helicopter sound suddenly ca from afar. Shiller broke into a smile.
With a bang, an explosive arrow's tip exploded into a brilliant firework on the bull-headed creature's head. Despite the magical protection, it made Dario take two steps back.
Following that ca an onslaught of flash bombs, sticky bombs, capture nets.
"You down there heed this! You have violated New York's Supernatural Security Protection Act! S.H.I.E.L.D. will arrest you in accordance with the law. Lie down imdiately or you'll face charges of violent resistance!"
"You down there heed this! You have..."
"He's the mastermind behind the Oregon Information Storage Center bombing!" Dario bellowed, "This damn super villain! You must catch him!"
But where was Shiller's figure in front of him? Moon Knight agilely flew up, spun, and landed beside Hawkeye in the helicopter. Natasha glanced back at him but ignored him.
"The bull-headed creature below! Understand that S.H.I.E.L.D. holds unlimited enforcent authority in supernatural violent incidents! If you continue to resist, we will resort to lethal force!!!"
"You should catch him, not !" Dario roared while defending with magic.
"Your violent actions in Manhattan have caused public panic. If you don't stop, we'll use lethal force! First warning, second warning, third warning... Comnce action!"
The ard helicopter's gun turrets opened fire, large-caliber rounds pouring down like rain, fiercely shooting at the bull-headed creature. Hawkeye kept drawing and shooting arrows, aiming for the Minotaur's head with various lethal arrowheads.
Even though Dario had astonishing defense and magical protection, he had to withdraw temporarily. He turned and headed towards Manhattan.
"Don't let him enter the city!" Natasha shouted into the intercom, "The opponent uses magic. We request mage support! Repeat... Wait a minute, he seems to be heading towards the Stark Building. Inform the Avengers to intercept!"
Captain Arica pressed his earpiece and grabbed his shield, saying, "A highly destructive bull-headed creature is approaching from eleven o'clock direction. Avengers, we must stop him!"
Dr. Banner, just getting off the car at the street corner, turned his head and saw the giant bull-headed figure charging in. He was too close to the monster to dodge in ti. Out of instinct for self-preservation, The Hulk appeared instantly.
"Hulk!!!!"
The charging Dario had just crossed the street when he heard a roar behind him and was grabbed by the ankle before he could turn around, swung forcefully, and thrown.
Doctor Lizard then hopped out from behind a building, pushed his glasses, and said, "I asked you to hold him back, not fling him away. Don't damage more buildings. The compensation will drive Nick mad!"
The Hulk couldn't care less. He squatted down and leapt up high, slamming onto Dario's body, grabbing his horns and wrenching them with force.
Roar!!!!
Dario let out a heartbreaking scream. The Hulk grabbed his neck and pumled him with two fists. Just as Dario was about to get up, The Hulk kicked him in the stomach, knocking him down again.
Parker arrived at the scene with the fastest speed. Initially, he wanted to stop The Hulk because he noticed this bull-headed creature was different from the previous ones. If captured alive, it might lead to more secrets.
He was about to stop The Hulk when he saw a familiar figure on the street. Wasn't that Doctor Otto?
Dario got up again, hoofs stomping the ground. Half the road was crushed underfoot, and the scattered debris almost hit Otto. He shielded himself with his arm, retreating two steps.
Parker couldn't care about anything else, rushing forward to save Doctor Otto and then placing him on the rooftop.
Otto wasn't soone with a good temper either. Previously annoyed by the First Spider-Man enough to take a vacation for peace, he returned only to find soone causing trouble.
He pushed Peter aside, unfurled his chanical tentacles, grabbed a high-energy ray gun, and jumped off the building.
