Clark and Bruce exited through the back door of the tropolitan Museum of Art, heading straight to the parking lot. On the way to find their car, Clark's ear twitched, and his gaze discreetly shifted toward a particular direction.

"I think we've been spotted." Batman, standing in the corner of the parking lot, turned to Superman and said.

"Not surprising. I can hear sounds from the other side of Earth."

"What if I hold my breath..."

"Unless you can pause your heartbeat."

Batman adjusted his uniform, preparing for the upcoming conversation, only to watch Clark and Bruce walk past them and head toward their car.

"Looks like they're not planning to co to us on their own. Should we go over and talk to them?"

"Shouldn't the real question right now be where they're planning to go?" Superman leaned over for a better look, and Batman followed suit.

"Honestly, I'm more curious about why they're driving. And more importantly, why is Superman the one driving?"

Superman raised one eyebrow, looking a bit puzzled, then turned to Batman and said, "I think it's normal. Why don't you usually let drive?"

"You have a tendency to speed," Batman said. "And you never check the rearview mirror..."

"That's because I have Super Hearing, I can—"

"They're leaving." Batman tapped Superman's arm and said, "Follow them. We need to find an opportunity to talk with them."

"Seems you'll need to talk to instead." A woman's voice suddenly ca from behind them. Turning around, they saw Diana standing there, dressed in a white shirt and a black fitted suit skirt.

"Diana?" Superman called out her na and said, "Uh, long ti no see. How have you been lately?"

"Not bad. Welco to this universe, but before you make any moves, I need to talk to you both. Follow ."

Batman and Superman shared a look.

"She didn't bring her lasso."

"True. But I'm not confident we can escape."

"Let's go, then."

"Let's go."

Diana led them into her office, brought out two new cups, and poured them coffee.

"Allow to say welco once again. Of course, if you don't like pleasantries, we can dive straight into the topic. What's your mission here?"

Batman shook his head and said, "We haven't received a mission yet. However, regardless of the situation, we will protect the citizens of tropolis."

"That's much appreciated," Diana replied, "If we're facing an alien invasion next, we'll definitely need more manpower."

"Then let's get to the Batcave." Batman didn't pick up his coffee, instead standing and saying, "We suspect the one coming might be Zod. This guy has Kryptonian technology. I didn't bring specialized equipnt with , so I'll need to borrow Batman's gear from this universe."

"No rush," Diana said, "The mbers of this universe's Justice League won't arrive until tomorrow morning at the earliest. Once we've assembled everyone, you'll naturally be able to help."

"Tomorrow morning?" Batman frowned slightly and asked, "Did you not notify The Flash? Or is he..."

"What? Oh, you an Barry. He's currently preparing for an upcoming football ga," Diana said with a smile, clasping her hands together, "Also, his Divine Speed isn't suitable for carrying people."

Batman nodded slightly, as though signaling Diana to continue. Diana looked at him, unsure of what else to say.

Superman seed to have caught onto the key point and asked, "How old is Barry?"

"He's still in college," Diana said, setting her coffee cup down and adding, "Let's not drag kids into adult wars."

"Fair enough. Tomorrow morning isn't too late." Batman said, "If you don't want us to enter the Batcave before then, we can head to the Justice League's base in the anti. Do you have Brother Eye?"

"The Justice League's ground base is located in Washington."

"Uh, ground base?"

"Yes, the primary base is on rcury. You could go there, but since the students are all on break right now, there's essentially nothing there. We don't use it to monitor Earth."

"Then how do you..."

"We're using Luther Group's Eye in the Sky. It alerts us to any anomalies within the city," Diana said.

"Pardon , can I ask—this universe's Lex Luther—he's on your team?" Superman stood up and asked.

"Sort of," Diana replied, "He's closer with Clark and Bruce, and he's in the sa camp as Oliver. While his relationship with the others is just so-so, it's still workable."

Batman and Superman exchanged a look.

"He—toward Clark—I an, toward Superman, does he have any issues?"

"I think he does," Diana said with a smile, "Once, Clark used his breath to help him clean his estate, but accidentally froze the entire place. Almost left him holess."

Superman couldn't decide which was more absurd—Luther requesting his help to clean the house with Superpowers, or Superman failing at house cleaning despite them.

"If Luther's on our side, things will be much easier," Superman said, "Because whenever sothing happens in tropolis, Luther always manages to tie my hands."

"I assure you, the Luther of our universe won't," Diana said with a soft sigh, "Because in our universe, soone else is tying our hands."

"Alright. I need a base where I can get to work. Where should I go?"
