While Asgard was in the thick of battle, what was Earth up to?

Of course, it was heading back to the Solar System to celebrate.

Earth watched the excitent from the edge, then left an observation station, leisurely returning to the Solar System, back to its original orbit, and even brought the moon back. It rotated quietly in its warm ho.

anwhile, a victory feast was being held on the surface. This was the human race’s first-ever victory in an interstellar war, and it was undoubtedly an absolute triumph—Earth suffered no losses, while the opponent was devastated.

More importantly, even without the later Phoenix outbreak, the battle results were already more than sufficient. The powerful superhumans were just icing on the cake; most of the operations were carried out by ordinary people.

The superluminal engine was basically constructed by ordinary people; the plans to run to Asgard for the banquet and then provoke the Three Great Empires were also ideas from ordinary people; throughout the entire operation, Earth’s various decisions were commanded by ordinary people; even the engine operation was completed by ordinary people.

In other words, at least 90% of this war was participated in by Earth’s weak ordinary people, yet it achieved a complete victory. How could that not be worth celebrating?

Because Earth personally participated in the battle, there was no communication blockade or anything. What operations Earth carried out, how the opponent reacted, and what results were achieved were all reported in real-ti. The vast majority of ordinary people received the news just a little later than the command center; they witnessed this war from beginning to end.

This greatly boosted ordinary people’s confidence: sure, we may not be as strong as the superhumans, but our contributions to Earth are also significant. We are part of Earth, loyal and reliable warriors, not burdens.

This is the greatest significance of this war.

For a long ti, the human race’s image in the interstellar society was that of a race with an enormous disparity between the upper and lower limits, represented by superhumans. The consensus on the interstellar society’s network was that the strongest human powers and ordinary humans were not the sa — they were the most important strategic deterrent, beyond the reach of ordinary people.

So voices even suggested that once humans mastered gene editing technology and could accurately filter these superhuman genes, ordinary people would no longer be necessary. The entire human race would transcend into a superhuman race.

Although most ordinary people on Earth are unaware of what interstellar society discusses, these superhumans cannot deceive themselves. They know how interstellar society views them and what speculations exist, and inevitably, so of them might be tempted.

No matter what, the internet’s brainwashing capability is strong. So young people with less stable minds might see these comnts and feel like ordinary people are just burdens: "If there were several billion strong superhumans on Earth, we would have conquered the cosmos already."

It’s not just within the mutants that such views occasionally arise, but even among the Avengers’ reserve team or the young superheroes of New York, such comnts appear from ti to ti.

Faced with this perspective, most mbers of the Avengers have no way to counter it because the fact is that the gap between ordinary humans and superhumans is indeed enormous, almost like different species. In this situation, how can every superhuman be expected to consider themselves part of human society?

Shiller is also well-aware that the solution in this situation is not to push the higher ones down but to pull the lower ones up. Both sides need to understand: the individual ordinary person may be weak, but their united strength is not to be underestimated.

SWORD’s views align with his. They seed to have realized this issue early and prepared for it. They had Shiller contact The Avengers and Kamar-Taj not to agree with their plan and help, but rely to inform them of the plan’s execution and to make sure they don’t interfere.

Indeed, Shiller contacted The Avengers and Kamar-Taj not to prepare them for war, but to tell them not to intervene and to let the ordinary people have the stage for the first interstellar war.

This significantly boosts the confidence of ordinary people and makes these superhumans realize that ordinary people are not burdens; they too can use their brains and hands to create great achievents and strike back at all intruders. Cooperation is better than animosity.

Extre thinkers are, after all, the minority; most people just entertain the thought. If you seriously talked about expelling them from Earth, they would be the first to be unhappy. Now, with ordinary people holding Earth, it’s like "holding the emperor to command the feudal lords," so even if these superhumans don’t see themselves as part of humanity, they’ll remain respectful for the sake of their ho planet Earth. This benefits both sides.

Now the plan’s effectiveness seems outstanding: ordinary society is in grand celebration, and the superhumans are also pleased because Earth’s excellent performance has indeed boosted their image—"In future encounters, people would hold them in higher regard: Does your ho planet fly? Has your ho planet battered the Three Great Empires? Can your ho planet withdraw unscathed after pounding the Three Great Empires? Earth can!"

In short, after this battle, the strategic objectives were basically achieved. The revelry lasted all night, and Shiller was pulled by The Avengers to drink together. They partied in high spirits the whole night, and when he woke up the next day, he still felt a bit of a headache.

"Doctor!" As Shiller just opened his eyes, a shadow descended from the sky. He instinctively rolled to dodge. Helen shook his shoulder relentlessly and said, "It’s , Doctor! I’m back!"

"Oh, Helen, you’re back." Shiller rubbed his eyes, got up to pour a glass of water, then said, "I’ve sent you a ssage ages ago, why’d you co back so late?"

"I stayed a bit longer over there." Helen smiled and said, "You know, my hotown is quite interesting right now. The ruler of the Solar System is actually an electronic life-form, called Brainiac. He’s so rigid, I couldn’t even have an extra bite in the Kuiper Belt..."

"Let’s not talk about that now." Shiller rubbed his forehead and said, "Did you finish practicing the stuff I asked you to practice?"

Helen casually picked up the little black cat sleeping on the table, rubbed its head and said, "I discussed with Gugu for a long ti, he even swallowed once. Unfortunately, I seem to irritate his intestines a bit, so he ended up spitting out. I have a rough idea now."

"A rough idea won’t do, you should know your mom and uncle are counting on you this ti."

"Don’t worry." Helen gave him a thumbs-up and said, "I didn’t eat all those neutron stars and suns for nothing. To complete the mission, I’ve compressed the accumulated energy to the limit, directly exploded a Big Black Hole, and then referred to Gugu to open a space crack. Currently, it seems pretty stable. How about you go in and have a look?"

"Forget it, I still need to prepare insurance asures for you." Shiller said, "In case you can’t swallow or get an upset stomach halfway, soone’s got to take over this big ss. I’m currently exploring the underside of the World within the ring."

"What did you find out?" Helen asked curiously.

"I couldn’t go down." Shiller said, "There’s an obstruction at a certain altitude, like an invisible wall separating the upper island from the enormous city below. No matter what I do, I can’t touch the city down there."

"That’s kinda odd." Helen remarked, but didn’t think much of it, saying, "The space above should be adequate. Besides, I’m sure there won’t be any issues on my side, so rest assured."

"Alright. Don’t leave yet. Though I don’t plan on being swallowed by you for a test, you do need to help carry so things over."

"Carry what?"

Helen turned her eyes and saw Yengade’s massive vertical pupils. Shiller gestured for her to proceed, and Helen gulped.

"What’s going on so early in the morning?" Yengade, just released, hadn’t figured out the situation yet—his physical form was gone, leaving only a Spirit Body, but because he had been eating well, the Spirit Body almost beca tangible. Before he could react, he was swallowed whole by Helen.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!"

As night passed, the border battles of the Nine Major Kingdoms began to turn intense. The Asgardians are most adept at blitz and ambush tactics, but this is a defensive battle, which ans the combat duration is infinitely prolonged. They do get tired, so after the initial full army offensive, they rotated in shifts to maintain the defense line.

Yet, it’s not too optimistic either. While they managed to barely hold the defense line, the Three Great Empires kept increasing their forces here—the production speed is faster than what they can destroy. If this goes on, they will eventually push into the Nine Major Kingdoms.

Despite the rules requiring Divine King’s approval to truly enter the Nine Major Kingdoms, the Three Great Empires have dinsional bombs, which can blast an opening between dinsions and force troops through. Once pushed to the dinsional node, Asgard is in great peril.

Though the situation was urgent, Odin wasn’t anxious. Recently, Thor and Loki had been acting mysteriously, often inquiring about the World Tree. Odin had so guesses about their motives. With insurance asures in place, they could fight freely, pulling off unexpected moves, causing the Three Great Empires to struggle to make headway.

For the Three Great Empires, to be honest, the battle was looking quite ugly—during the attack on Earth, they were led around by high mobility, ending up disgraced; attacking Asgard, initially intending to sweep through with thunderous force, yet fought for ages without progress.

In fact, there was already activity in their rear. Several advanced civilizations took advantage as they diverted forces to the Nine Major Kingdoms, secretly stirring trouble: firing a few shots at the base station one mont, intercepting transport teams the next, and breaking mineral agreents, sneaking into the Three Great Empires’ mining areas to gather rare tals, making the highest rulers of the Three Great Empires grind their teeth in resentnt.

Apart from the Kree Empire, others found it hard to fight on multiple fronts. Faced with these tricks, they could only shrink their defense and hold as much as possible. But this made them lose more face—the Three Great Empires have been galloping in the cosmos for thousands of years, never suffered such a setback.

"We can’t go on like this." The Scrool Emperor gritted his teeth and said, "Prepare for a full assault, Lilandra, Supre Wisdom. I don’t believe you don’t have so tricks up your sleeve. Directly blast open the Nine Major Kingdoms, we’ll go in and fight!"

The other two sides clearly realized they couldn’t delay any longer too. Supre Wisdom said in a deep voice: "Have your people stay clear of point 1322, at least hold off Odin’s forces for three minutes. I’ll set up the Dinsion Cutting Device, and once the operation is complete, all troops will penetrate into the Nine Major Kingdoms through the cut-dinsional channel!"
