phisto stood behind the registration counter in the library, utterly perplexed, with visible question marks over his head.

"Could it be that Steven discovered I ca over last ti?" he said, walking around the counter. "But there’s no need to set the trigger frequency so complicated, right? Without brute force, I can’t even open it."

Shiller leaned against the counter and said, "What seems to be the problem?"

"The lock on the secret room has been changed. You can think of it as upgrading from a simple latch to a smart password lock. I can’t open it now either."

"Steven must have caught you ssing with the movie props, so he locked the door," Shiller said.

phisto shook his head and said, "He’s more likely to co flying over to beat up than to lock the door with such a complicated lock. It’s not Steven’s style."

"Then maybe soone else doesn’t like you," Shiller said with a gloating smile. "Alright, there’s no point in rehearsing today. Let’s talk about it tomorrow. I’m heading back."

With that, Shiller left. phisto was still a bit unwilling, seemingly hesitating whether to forcibly break the lock, but after thinking it over, he decided to give up. After all, if it really was Strange who locked it, punching the lock to pieces would definitely get him kicked off the cast by the petty Strange.

After the two of them left, three Batn erged from the secret room. The room had excellent soundproofing, so they hadn’t heard anyone outside.

But who is Batman? The greatest detective in the world. As he walked out, he noticed so fibrous lint left on the surface of the registration counter, which seed to have been pressed down by a sleeve.

"Soone’s been here," Primary Universe Batman said with confidence, "One stood in front of the counter, and the other stood by the door. It seems our Black Magician has an accomplice."

"Let’s not worry about that now," Arkham Batman said. "The mirror isn’t working well as a magic energy detector. I think we should consider other diums. I think a crystal ball might work well. What do you guys think?"

"The question isn’t what’s suitable, but rather what we can get," Primary Universe Batman said. "I rember Doctor Shiller has a crystal ball in his display cabinet."

"Aren’t you afraid of bald-pulling him?"

"This ti we can’t steal, because it’s part of his private collection. Maybe we can ask to borrow it."

"He told today that whoever finds the mirror will be rewarded. I think we can return the mirror and then ask him for a crystal ball."

"Good idea," Primary Universe Batman said. "Let’s do that."

It was another early morning. Shiller had stayed up too late morizing lines the night before and was still asleep when knocking on the door woke him up. Glancing out the window, he saw it was just dawn.

He went downstairs to open the door, where Arkham Batman stood with two mirrors. Arkham Batman shrugged and said, "I found your mirror, Doctor. Discovered it near the corridor bridge of the east tower."

Shiller reacted—on the other side of the bridge near the east tower was the dormitory of rcury College. "It was indeed those guys."

He nodded and said, "Thank you very much. I’ll find soone to set it in later. What reward would you like?"

"After attending the runes class, I’ve learned a lot and want to make my own energy-storing accessory. I think the crystal ball in your display cabinet would be perfect. Could you give that to ?"

Shiller glanced back at the display cabinet. In fact, there wasn’t much of his own collection in there; it was filled with decorations put in during the renovation. Since Shiller didn’t acquire them himself, he didn’t really like or dislike them, they just looked nice there.

He went over and picked up the crystal ball to take a look. It was just a very ordinary purple crystal ball without any magical properties—purely decorative. Magic Academy had no shortage of crystals, and although this one was of high clarity, there were certainly better ones available. Shiller looked at it in his hand and tossed it to Arkham Batman.

"Thanks, Doctor. If you want to know who took your mirror, perhaps you could ask soone from rcury College."

After he left, Shiller sat at his desk feeling a bit drowsy. After a while, he opened his phone and found that the group was already buzzing with discussion. The topic was: the marks they had previously arranged in the forest had sohow all been destroyed.

Upon seeing this ssage, Shiller imdiately sat upright. The reason was simple: he was the one who had set those marks, and if they were gone, wouldn’t that an he had to set them again?

It had been very hot these past few days, and the forest was even hotter and more humid. Shiller really didn’t want to go back there, so he quickly asked in the group what had happened.

The director team was talking back and forth, but no one knew what was happening. As it was still during the prop setup stage, the caras hadn’t started rolling, so they didn’t capture who did it. Strange checked it out and found no magic energy residue, indicating the opponent used purely physical ans. Yet, the large Magic Forest left no other traces. It didn’t need investigation to know; it must be soone like Batman, only Batman has such skill.

But the problem is, there are too many Batmans in the school, making it hard to pinpoint which Batman it was. Strange had to urgently gather all students in the auditorium for a morning eting. Shiller was a bit late; Strange’s speech was already halfway.

"... I must emphasize once again that you are not allowed to leave the castle grounds, nor are you allowed to go to the Magic Forest! This violates school rules!" Strange was almost roaring, "It’s very dangerous there, the environnt is complex, and there are many magic plants you can’t handle. Recklessly barging in will cost you your life!"

Strange didn’t think he was being alarmist. Although there were no hitting plants on their side, for the forest’s aesthetics, they indeed transplanted so poisonous plants, especially poisonous mushrooms. You don’t necessarily have to consu them to get poisoned; you might get poisoned through spore exposure. If soone poisoned Batman, it would be hard to explain.

The Magic Forest is undergoing construction recently." Strange cald his emotions and patiently explained, "That’s a very important project. If the progress is delayed, there will be serious consequences. No student is allowed to enter. If I discover anyone violating this regulation, they’ll be expelled imdiately!"

Shiller could clearly feel Strange’s helplessness. He knew it wasn’t that Strange didn’t want to talk about the movie, but they’d signed confidentiality agreents. Now, the outside world had no idea that the production of the second movie had begun. If Strange directly exposed the movie-making, he would have to pay.

Originally, students might have guessed. They were very enthusiastic about movies, and everyone wanted to get screen ti in the new movie. However, coincidentally, after Wanda finished teaching the basic usage of the Magic Wand, the flight lessons began. The flight lessons captured everyone’s attention. After all, who wouldn’t want to fly freely in the sky?

Thus, Strange’s warning fell on deaf ears; no one paid much attention to it. Almost everyone was discussing the flight lessons, deliberating on who could fly and who couldn’t, how to fly stylishly.

The Marvel magicians’ flight wasn’t broom-riding. They didn’t need external assistance; purely magic energy could lift themselves. However, flying consud more magic energy than opening a Teleportation Portal, so magicians didn’t often fly.

The most experienced in this regard was Wanda. His power of Scarlet had nearly no limit, and his flight speed was faster than the magicians’, so he would fly over for urgent matters, becoming naturally the teacher of this class.

"Alright, pick up your Magic Wands now. Like I taught you before, let the magic power flow through your bodies, feel it envelop you. Combine what was taught in the ditation classes, gently imagine, and feel a breeze lifting you..."

Now everyone was standing on the castle’s back garden lawn. Wanda was explaining the secrets of flight. Everyone was eager, striving to beco the first to fly.

But it was difficult in reality. As the manipulation of magic power was idealistic, most people hadn’t flown, and couldn’t imagine flying, struggling to grasp that lightness from within.

This lesson was jointly held by Neptune Academy and rcury College. Among all the students, Bruce was learning best because he was used to life with wings, and his battlesuit could provide flight capability.

Wanda was still teaching when Bruce had already flown three laps around him. Wanda finally couldn’t bear it anymore, and a power of Scarlet knocked him down.

"Bruce! Get back to your position! Or I’ll pluck all the feathers off your wings; not even Lucifer can save you!"

Bruce shrugged and walked back.

Arkham Batman was a bit surprised; soone could actually deal with Bruce, making him reassess his view of the Scarlet Witch.

They certainly knew the red-haired woman in front had so skill; she wouldn’t be a professor at the Magic Academy if not. Yet, they had no concept of how strong she was.

Wanda inherently disliked fighting. Even with a Battleworld invitation, she rarely went. Her counterparts in other universes were almost the sa – often absent. To date, the Battleworld base remained empty. Naturally, Batman couldn’t rank among them.

The Primary Universe Batman just glanced at Wanda without comnting. He had no interest in flight, but during gaps when others practiced take-off, he moved next to Night Owl.

"You went to the Magic Forest." It wasn’t a question; his tone was quite certain. Night Owl was not surprised at all, glancing at him without responding.

"What did you find there?"

"I indeed found sothing," Night Owl said with a light hum, "but I’m more curious about what you do in the library every day?"

"Co exchange so information, then," said the Primary Universe Batman. "Tell what you saw in the Magic Forest, and I’ll tell you what we found in the library."

Night Owl seed initially to want to refuse, but the Primary Universe Batman said, "This school is too big. If we explore separately without exchanging information, we might not figure things out in half a year. Do you want to waste that ti here?"

Night Owl seed slightly swayed. He cleared his throat, glanced around, and said, "Soone’s been active in the Magic Forest. I don’t an went there once, but a long-term activity. He seems to be searching for materials, probably to do sothing."

The Primary Universe Batman knew he was withholding information, but he didn’t mind it. He said, "Coincidentally, I also discovered soone was engaged in secret activities inside the castle, also long-term. Who do you think it might be?"
