When Shiller woke up in the morning, he was still a bit dazed. Last night, he spent a long ti trying to understand those black magic concepts, and he had basically grasped most of it. To him, it seed incredibly difficult.

It’s not that the volu of content is large or that it’s exceptionally hard to understand, but rather that there are too many leaps. It’s like studying math to the end and feeling that the subject is sowhat disjointed. Apart from the discoveries made by geniuses, the rest is just a blank space.

Shiller felt that this might be because, after all, this is sothing created by devils. Even if phisto had so empathy for the human race, it was impossible for him to completely consider problems from the human perspective. This led to many things that he might have thought he had deduced, but in reality, he hadn’t, so there were only results without processes.

The mages took these results to use directly, only to find that they didn’t work well under certain conditions. When they traced back to the source, they found nothing, leading to these results being inexplicably abandoned. Substitutes beca increasingly complicated, eventually turning into a pile of "mountain of feces code."

Shiller spent a lot of energy figuring out these relationships. He wasn’t sure if Night Owl would fully understand it. But that’s okay, because if he understood it too well and really used such ans against the Pri Universe Batman, it might cause him to be flustered. Just learning the basics should suffice.

In the morning, Shiller mixed so potions for those students who were unaccustod to the environnt and then attended to two who were injured during flying class. One was more seriously injured, with a broken shin bone. Although healing it with magic wasn’t too difficult, Shiller was busy all morning.

Finally done, Shiller went to the cafeteria to eat, only to see an unexpected figure—Tony Stark was here too?

Stark saw Shiller and wanted to co over, but he was obviously in a heated discussion with Arkham Batman. So he gave Shiller a look and then sat on the other side with Arkham Batman.

Shiller started wondering why Stark was here. At that mont, Wanda ca over, a bit worried, and said, "Is Atu okay? How’s his leg?"

"It’s not a big deal," Shiller said, "Don’t worry too much, ma’am. It’s not your fault. You can’t expect a sixteen-year-old to have an in-depth understanding of Earth’s gravity, let alone have any reverence for it."

Wanda sighed and said, "You don’t know how chaotic it was in the sky. One person hit another, and a dozen people fell. I could have caught them all, but unfortunately, two flew out of my power’s reach. I really don’t know what they were thinking."

"By the way, were you the one who called Tony over?" Wanda asked.

Shiller shook his head and said, "I think it was Steven. Did he also co to be a guest lecturer? What subject is he teaching?"

"I heard it might be alchemy. Isn’t it weird, a modern scientist teaching dieval pseudo-science?"

"Well, it’s not entirely pseudo-science. After all, magic is real, so alchemy should have so use," Shiller said, "I guess Steven thought the mages couldn’t handle the Batn, so he brought him over."

"That’s true. You have no idea how quickly these guys with their stoic faces can learn. In just a few days, they’ve mastered the magic wand. Plus, they’re extrapolating and starting all kinds of dangerous experints we’ve never taught. I’m really worried about the safety of the school buildings."

"You don’t need to worry too much about that. The buildings were constructed with magic materials; they can repair themselves."

"Okay. But I have to say, I’m concerned about the safety of the other students," Wanda said, "I know that as soon as they enter the school, they have equal learning rights. But the Batn learn so fast. I an, they might even get far ahead of the others before they even try. It’s not good for ordinary people."

"That’s true." Shiller thought for a mont and said, "We could suggest that Steven add another exam to screen for those who can skip grades. Let them learn more advanced knowledge with the higher classes, rather than hurting the freshn’s self-esteem, which might be better."

"That would be nice. What format do you plan to use? Written tests or practical exams?"

"A combination of both." Shiller said, "You mainly oversee the practical exams, and Steven and I will create the written tests."

The two discussed for an entire lunch, finally deciding: Wanda would persuade Strange to add an advanced placent exam, and those who passed would skip to the higher grades; anwhile, Shiller would talk with each freshman to check if they had psychological issues due to falling behind or not matching up to their classmates.

As soon as Shiller returned to the school clinic, he began checking the psychological state of the freshn. But soon, Stark showed up.

"Good noon, Doctor Shiller."

Shiller didn’t even lift his eyelids and said, "Good noon, Professor Stark. You just wanted to hear this, right?"

Stark laughed heartily, then sat opposite him and said enthusiastically, "You really did find the right person in , there’s no one else who can have so much in common with Batman. I also didn’t expect that, although they seem a bit cold, they actually have a passionate heart for machinery, and they’re also very interested in magical machinery. I wish I could chat with them all day. Especially that... uh, I don’t know which Batman he is, but his ideas are quite novel and gave a lot of inspiration."

Shiller knew he was probably talking about Arkham Batman. In fact, among the Batn, Arkham Batman wasn’t particularly high in chanical engineering. Although that Batmobile looks intimidating, many Batn in the comic universes have created all sorts of remarkable machines, so of which could even be called fantastical. Don’t ask how they’re made; they’re just made. Compared to that, Arkham Batman is quite diocre.

Though everyone has their strengths, even Batn aren’t all hexagonal warriors. However, if they want to confront the evil forces of the multiverse, Arkham Batman indeed has room to grow.

"So what brings you to ?" Shiller asked.

"Uh, I just wanted to chat. How did that stubborn mule Steven co around? How did Batman persuade him?"

"Batman didn’t persuade him." Shiller thought for a mont and said, "He just made him feel the pressure. In fact, nothing that happens at this school escapes Steven’s notice. Do you think the Batn would just sit around obediently studying?"

"So did they do sothing that endangered school safety?"

"Not yet. But clearly, they have the capability: not only do they have ample knowledge, the ability to learn by analogy, ticulous thinking, high-level strategy skills, and considerable combat power..."

"I have those too," Tony said, sowhat unconvinced.

Shiller shook his head: "The biggest difference between you and them is that you wouldn’t strategize against your friends to achieve your goals. If you want your friends to do sothing, you ask them, or seek their help, rather than leaving them no other choice. But Batman usually opts for the latter."

"Sounds a lot like you."

"Not the sa." Shiller shook his head again and said, "Batman helps based on reason, not relationship. His feelings for anyone cannot cross the boundary of law. At least, he’s working toward that direction."

"Isn’t that a good thing? It proves he’s a very just person."

"But it also makes him cool and unfeeling," Shiller said. "It ans he’s on guard against everyone. Trying to exploit his feelings is nearly impossible. This makes him without weaknesses, invulnerable. Competing with soone like that puts a lot of pressure on anyone."

"I suddenly feel a bit sorry for Steven," Tony tilted his head and said, "If so many Batn are united against him, he probably won’t win easily. Do you plan to help him?"

"Of course. But I hope there won’t be any conflict between them. I’ll try to reconcile differences as much as possible, doesn’t that align with Steven’s initial intention of establishing a Multiverse Human Alliance?"

"True, if it’s you, you should be able to achieve it. After all, you have quite a good relationship with several Batn," Tony said, "Anyway, let’s talk about . I’m planning to establish a club to gather people with similar interests to study magic machinery in our spare ti. But it requires space and props, as well as so energy. Can you help talk to Steven?"

"Why don’t you go yourself?"

"Co on, he definitely won’t agree," Tony sighed and said, "If he plans to set up a magic lab with Batman in the Stark Group, I’d definitely kick them out. Who knows what terrifying stuff they might co up with?"

"Then won’t you restrain yourself a little?"

"That’s not sothing I can control," Tony shook his head, wearing a face that said "you don’t understand." He said, "The more you research chanical engineering, the more you feel that machines have souls. How they’re assembled, how they work, and whether they undergo any transformations can’t be entirely controlled by their Creator. So I also find it hard to guarantee safety."

Shiller sighed and said, "You’re not just making trouble for Steven, you’re making trouble for too, since I’m the school doctor here."

"That’s why I ca to consult with you in advance," Tony said with a smile, "If you can persuade Steven for , the dical budget for next quarter might increase a little."

"Alright, I’ll give it a shot." Shiller put down his pen, then said, "But I must remind you, as of now, the school infirmary only has one usable room. You guys better be careful."

Tony waved his hand: "Don’t worry, nothing will happen. Don’t you know my prowess?"

Shiller didn’t argue with him any further, just thought to himself: It’s precisely because I know your prowess that I’m sure sothing will happen.

Actually, Tony isn’t really the kind of mad scientist. Although he sotis has that aura, when it cos to practice, he’s very thodical and pays great attention to safety. Having produced hundreds of generations of cha without a single accident is enough to prove that he’s a pretty reliable researcher.

Batman, of course, is also a very cautious person, you could even say conservative. Logically, when the two of them et, it shouldn’t turn into a "genius of destruction" situation. But the premise is that Batman isn’t plotting against anyone.

And the current situation is that the Primary Universe Batman is obviously targeting Night Owl, almost step by step. Shiller had already noticed that the Primary Universe Batman seed to be using him to divert Night Owl’s attention. So, if he can use , he can use Tony.

But these are things one can’t just say directly. After all, getting Tony to communicate with Batman is also very beneficial to Tony. If Iron Man indeed has a burst of inspiration, wouldn’t that also contribute to the technology of his universe?

So Shiller could only hint: "Don’t take off your armor when you’re experinting. I know it’s cumberso, but for safety’s sake, you have to keep it on, and it’s best to bring JARVIS."

Tony pursed his lips, seeming a bit dismissive, but still planned to comply. After all, past experiences had taught him what could result from ignoring Shiller’s words.
