Captain Arica nodded and said, "That’s right, this behavior does remind of Ultron. It took quite an effort to deal with it back then. If Magneto had helped at that ti, it might have been much simpler."
"Absolutely not," Iron Man shook his head and said, "Magneto doesn’t like The Avengers, and we can’t collaborate with a terrorist. Even the X-n have always adhered to a principle of non-interference with ordinary society, mainly dealing with the Brotherhood. Professor X naturally wouldn’t help."

The X-n and Mutant Brotherhood have always played a good cop-bad cop routine, with the latter desperately causing trouble, creating terror attacks everywhere, and then after reaching a certain level, the X-n would step in to stop them, and then the Mutant Brotherhood would state their demands, diated by the X-n, letting the Federal Governnt and military et their needs, thus securing benefits for mutants.
If this incident was orchestrated by a mutant from the Mutant Brotherhood, Magneto wouldn’t be negotiating with The Avengers here. But this ti, the matter involved the X-n, and the situation is clear, Cyclops’s suspicion starts at 50%. With The Avengers having obtained solid evidence, there’s no room for coback.
If the culprit is exposed, public opinion will certainly explode. Most people will feel that the X-n are nothing more than another type of terrorist, possibly even more brutal than the Mutant Brotherhood. After all, the Mutant Brotherhood at most attacks so governnt facilities and military bases, and the Aricans’ trust in the Federal Governnt and the army is very low, with quite a few ordinary people even cheering for the Mutant Brotherhood’s actions.

They truly feared that it was Cyclops suddenly going berserk. If soone were inciting it, then at least a large portion of the bla would be shifted.
Mutants are unstable, managent errors are managent errors, but they go from principal offenders to accessories. With careful maneuvering, they might even be able to cast themselves as victims, which could be a blessing in disguise.
"You tell us what to do," Professor X said straightforwardly. "Erik and I will fully cooperate. As long as we can capture the mastermind and clear mutants of the guilt we shouldn’t bear, we owe The Avengers a favor this ti."
Peter could tell that Professor X was sincere. If he hadn’t co again at that ti and extracted so clues from Shadow Cat and Iceman, even the X-n might have accepted it. If they truly caught a non-mutant mastermind, it would indeed be The Avengers’ credit.
