Big Adventure Batman didn’t directly tell Spider Man the truth. This is actually his habit: Batman is always about gathering information rather than revealing it. But it’s this very habit that made him miss key clues.
Big Adventure Batman sent Spider Man’s explanation to the other Batn. The Primary Universe Batman rubbed his chin and said, "Dr. Pym is Ant-Man? They have quite a few mad scientists over there."
"Seems like they need an antivirus more than us," Batwoman said.
"If that’s the case, it seems to fit our hypothesis. Does anyone have the contact of the Scarlet Witch? If it’s Ultron, asking her should clarify it, right?"
"That’s right. If so electronic life form is harassing the Scarlet Witches of the multiverse, they might ntion it in their group and join forces to eliminate it. So asking any Scarlet Witch should get us an answer."
The Batn all began to scroll through their contact lists. The Primary Universe Batman had the contact for the Scarlet Witch from the neighboring Central Universe, so he asked her. But her reply sounded a bit confused:
"An electronic life form harassing ? Sorry, I get too many people sending private ssages and love proposals on various dia platforms. I really can’t tell which ones aren’t human. What’s up on your end? Need help?"
Only then did the Primary Universe Batman rember that the Central Universe’s Scarlet Witch is an internet celebrity. Despite her couple account focus, the internet is full of various demons and ghosts. Whenever you dare to post a video, a swarm of flies will follow you, let alone soone as beautiful as Wanda; it’s certain she’d be harassed.
And Wanda is a person focused on her life, busy with work and childcare every day, likely having no ti to distinguish these individuals and caring even less about them. That electronic life form was probably dismissed as just another amorous fan, not taken by her to heart at all.
Since they couldn’t get anything from the Central Universe, they tried asking other universes. But with so many people in the Battleworld, the chance of reaching a specific hero is slim. Only about two or three Batn had encountered a Scarlet Witch, and after asking, they still couldn’t get any useful information.
It might be because Wanda is too strong, and the electronic life form’s harassnt didn’t actually beco a real nuisance for her. For example, if it sent her so love emails, Wanda would block them; if it frequently changed accounts, her statent "I do not accept love emails" could directly crash the electronic life form’s terminal; even if it controlled speakers or computers to talk, her simple "shut up" might erase the gadget’s voice function from existence.
However, two of the Scarlet Witches admitted they did encounter such incidents, initially thinking they were pranks by Mutant haters, as they had dealt with similar situations before and mostly chose to bear it in silence rather than publicize it.
Now, the situation is again divergent from the Batn’s speculations: the Scarlet Witch indeed faced harassnt, but due to the large power gap, she didn’t take it seriously; also, given Wanda’s past bad experiences, she often chose to deal with such matters quietly rather than making a fuss—especially those who are mothers, being all the more cautious, which is considered cowardly compared to her power.
To the Primary Universe Batman, this wasn’t surprising. He had long noticed that the Scarlet Witch is soone who endures greatly, waiting until she reaches a breaking point before exploding, no matter how imnse the grievance.
Although the explosion is catastrophic and renowned across the multiverse, to the Batn, she’s already quite restrained. If an ordinary person were in her shoes, they’d probably be shouting, "Universe destroyed a thousand tis" instead of "no more mutants."
Batwoman, holding her forehead, said, "I find it hard to call such a reaction forgiving and more like numbness. But staying low-key is also a good thing; otherwise, if they found out the mastermind ran to our side and followed through, it’d be a huge ss."
The Batn clearly breathed a sigh of relief. Although being pursued by the Scarlet Witch might be satisfying if the mastermind caused trouble here, if the Scarlet Witches actually ca over, Batman might indeed have to go to church and pray for God’s help.
However, this also made the identity of the mastermind even more elusive. While the Scarlet Witches provided as many clues as possible, it’s still impossible to pinpoint the specific identity, though Ultron seems likely. But the Batn highly suspect that Ultron has undergone several iterations, becoming not entirely electronic.
Since the discussion on identity reached an impasse, they could only start devising strategies. Primary Universe Batman was the first to speak, "First, we must find the mastermind’s root server. Though there are backups in other universes, destroying the main server will deal it a major blow."
"I have a question," chanical Batman said, "since it’s already ntioned, it’s not purely electronic but an energy creature, does a server really exist?"
"Energy doesn’t appear out of thin air, and there’s no energy that can’t be depleted," Arkham Batman said, "It must require energy to act, and there must be an energy source. If it’s an energy being, it’s actually easier; as long as we find the energy source and destroy it, cutting off its supply, eventually, it’ll be eradicated."
"That’s one thod." The other Batn all agreed.
"But the current problem is to monitor Earth’s energy activities comprehensively, we need to establish a Magic Defense Network. Yet, the opponent keeps causing trouble to stop us from building it. Without the Magical Defense Network, we can’t stop them from causing chaos," Primary Universe Batman said.
"Then we can only cooperate," Batwoman said, "We’ll first concentrate our strength to complete a Magic Defense Network in one universe, thoroughly expel the mastermind there, make it the multiverse’s main base, then slowly expand outwards, taking back our territories."
