Now reading: Chapter 5696 - 4720: X Royal Family: Annihilation (Part 2) from Days as a Spiritual Mentor in American Comics, a Fantasy novel by Meet Shepherd Burn Rope.

Shiller pursed his lips; this indeed cannot be considered good news. In fact, in this universe, the mutants of the X Royal Family are quite reasonable among the various mutant comics. As soon as they heard about establishing a nation, they basically dropped their grudges, united, and succeeded in the end.

But perhaps because they are sowhat more normal than mutants from other universes, Professor X had a bigger vision. He joined the multiverse war without hesitation, despite his universe being at a critical point, which led to the worst possible outco—seriously disrupting their original plans, causing the assault plan, which could have succeeded, to fail completely.

As the decision-maker, Professor X will face unimaginable pressure. Not only did this cost the lives of eight strong allies like Phoenix and Wolverine, but it also made it totally impossible for mutants to deal with the Mother Module.

And this failure could likely bring a series of disastrous consequences, even completely overturning the storyline of this universe. If it turns out this way, no one will dare to participate in multiverse activities anymore, as the cost is just too painful.

"We must go to support them imdiately," Shiller said, "and it must be a saturation rescue, the faster the better."

"Is that what you think?" Charles asked.

Shiller was sowhat surprised and said, "Didn’t you gather us here because of this?"

Charles shook his head and said, "I am indeed anxious and have decided to support them. But on the contrary, we can’t send too many people over because the Avengers in the Pri Universe have already been accused of cosmic interventionism..."

Shiller slapped his forehead; how could he forget that? Actually, it’s not a big deal; it’s mainly because once everyone in the multiverse gets online, it’s hard to avoid so disputes. So characters on the Marvel side are actually far more outrageous than those on the DC side.

Not to ntion people like Doom and Reed, Tony Stark is already heavyweight. Especially many comic universe Iron n, even after shedding the Playboy identity and becoming a superhero, still have a lot of issues. The biggest problem is, Iron Man is an interventionist.

So-called interventionists feel obligated to ddle in so matters, to change the current situation. This often makes them appear ddleso when speaking or acting in the multiverse.

Especially the Avengers from the Pri Universe, once they beca aware of the special status of the Pri Universe, they interfered without restraint. They’d drop into this universe for a while today and patrol another tomorrow, always finding sothing to do.

Of course, in so universes, they did help, which earned them a loyal following. But many tis, they purely caused trouble and had several conflicts with local superhero groups, resulting in poor reputation.

Now, the opinion environnt across the multiverse is biased against this kind of interventionism. In the face of public opinion, the Pri Universe finally suspended their movents and promised not to interfere unless aid was explicitly requested.

It seed like a peaceful resolution, but the problem is, that universe of the X Royal Family did request aid. And now, I’m afraid the Pri Universe is already preparing to rush over.

At this point, Shiller understood what Charles was worried about. The Pri Universe is indeed well-intentioned, but this new 616 Main Universe is too young. Since the All-New All-Different era, there have not been many major events, and the heroes are still very young, making them inexperienced in dealing with human affairs.

Facing troubles that require only fists might be fine, but once it involves very complicated contention issues, it purely adds chaos and might even push things to an irreparable state.

So, Charles is actually not worried about the situation in that universe but rather about what chaos the Pri Universe superheroes might cause after they go over there. This would certainly trigger a resistance from most universes and might even spark a multiverse-level major event.

Even if it doesn’t turn into violent conflict, it might lead to a tendency towards closing off rather than exchanging in the multiverse’s atmosphere. Given the lessons learned, no one would dare to request aid from the multiverse again, and might even cease communication with other universes to avoid trouble.

If that happens, then their plan for the Multi-universe Human Alliance would be completely ruined. Forget about alliance; it would be good enough if the multiverse doesn’t start a fight.

Shiller frowned deeply. After a period of thought, he said, "In any case, we should still first rush to assist the mutants."

"But if the Pri Universe also goes there, we might end up having a showdown with them. I’m really afraid it will make the situation even ssier." Charles’s frown was severe enough to crush a fly, "The matter of nation-building is not that simple. Even though we have stepped out of Earth and even ruled the entire Androda Galaxy, it still took a lot of effort to gain a legal seat on Earth. The hardships involved, you should know better than I do."

Shiller nodded. Despite the quick pace at which their universe’s mutants established a nation, from taking over to establishing it, and the subsequent progress was also smooth, Shiller knew full well how much was sacrificed behind the scenes.

Forget about where the land ca from, or what happened to the people there. Simply the fact that mutants could secure that plot of land involved political maneuvers of breathtaking danger. It’s important to know that on Earth, not everyone is powerless against mutants, at least their current neighbors are not. Behind the good situation for mutants lie countless untold hardships. Many have exhausted their efforts, and many have shed blood and life for this. The leaders of mutants rarely ntion it, but it doesn’t an it’s non-existent.

Compared to them, the foundation of the X Royal Family is really too thin. Without extraterrestrial bases, it ans having no retreat, and the chips in hand are really too few, it’s like creating cards out of thin air.

Not to ntion anything else, the way they obtained recognition from other nations on Earth was actually by offering a miraculous redy that only mutants could obtain to help people on Earth cure their diseases.

And they didn’t do this after founding their nation or when they were about to succeed, they did it right from the beginning. Just when they announced their goal, they told the whole world that mutants would send ordinary people a miraculous redy to show their goodwill.

When Shiller first saw this plot, he could only lant that the Aricans’ wisdom in fighting was too shallow. In this world, there is no country that was founded by showing goodwill to the world. Not a single one. Even including the story of mutants possibly alluding to Jews.

You can express your sincerity by showing your determination to integrate into the international community after founding your nation. You can also take on an attitude similar to repaying grievances with virtue when your reputation suffers and faces questioning to manifest the deanor of a great power.

But absolutely no country would adopt a conciliatory approach while fighting for its sovereignty independence and territorial integrity to tell everyone it has no malice. This will only have counterproductive effects.

In this world, there’s no such thing as "legitimate nation-building." Even if from the mont humans climbed down from the trees, they’ve been active on this land, to establish a nation, it must go through the refining of blood and fire in wars of expansion over generations, forging national spirit and honor. Even the young Arica is independent and unified from war.

Moreover, Marvel Earth already has thods to cure cancer. Not to ntion anything else, Wakanda has technology to cure almost all human diseases. Although not public, Wakanda evidently uses dical technology as its leverage to enhance its international status. Mutants giving dicine freely, the first threat is Wakanda.

Other countries might not necessarily feel goodwill from this act. Because although cruel, healthcare in many countries is a business. Since it’s a business, others cannot interfere, nor can they disrupt the market.

For more countries, having the public collectively admire an ideal entity is extrely dangerous. Winning people’s hearts has been an absolute taboo throughout history. Not to ntion the inherent threat of mutants themselves. This move seemingly steps on all potential political landmines.

The subsequent political maneuvers appear bizarre. For example, the White Queen storming the court using mind control to show off her power, forcibly taking away an injured mutant, is akin to political suicide.

It can be said that reading this whole comic from the mutants’ perspective might not be satisfying, but from the ordinary people’s perspective, one can understand why they react so strongly.

And if such a group ets the Pri Universe group, this universe might be dood. But the consequences of chaos in this universe are so severe that even knowing it’s hopeless, one has to find a way to save it.

"I’ll go personally." Shiller said, "As for the Pri Universe side, I’ll have a eting with Steven, Loki, and Nick."

"You’re going?" Charles said, eyes wide, "Is that really necessary?"

Shiller rubbed his temples and said, "You know I have an understanding of many things beyond factual judgnt. I can only tell you the situation in that universe is more complicated than you think. It started out very badly; now it’s virtually a disaster. This chain loop can probably only be solved by ."

Charles imdiately showed a hint of fear, he said, "If that’s the case, perhaps it’s better to not..."

"I’ll go with Stark," Shiller said, "That ’Mother Module’ probably has so technical content, if it cannot be handled in a more ingenious and precise manner, it’s also a case of a clever woman unable to cook without rice in political maneuvering.

Stark had been listening all along, just not expecting it to involve him too, he said, "I was planning to travel sowhere warm, but I didn’t plan on going to the Sun."

"If you don’t go, I can only look for other universes’..."

"Don’t give that." Stark snorted, "Haven’t you toyed around with other universes’ Iron Mans?"

"I ant I could only bring over Little Morgan from other universes for you to carry along."

"You..." Stark took a few deep breaths, "Alright, then I will reluctantly accompany you on this trip. But let’s be clear, I only handle technical matters, don’t expect to deal with those troubleso politicians."
