This is not the Thunder God Thor he knew!!!
What happened to their mutual annihilation deal?!
Is this thing in front of him sothing he could choose to die together with?!
It's not that Ye ng Jia De overreacts, the prophecy says that he's supposed to have a joint-die with Thunder God Thor, but the Thor he sees before him doesn't look like Thor at all!
Except for the long spear in his hand which may have so link to Thor's divine mission, the power surging all over him, a force originated from the civilization of the prival lightning, is clearly advanced in levels far beyond Thor.
Ye ng Jia De turned around to flee without any hesitation, but it was too late.
The entire dinsion was enclosed by a big net, and the divine power that sealed this dinsion ca from those little creatures whom he was chasing desperately before.
Calling them as small creatures could no longer be accurate at the mont, the black panther's claws grew bigger than Ye ng Jia De's head, the body seeping a naless energy, the eyes akin to two fervent suns; the lion emanated a golden light from the back with its mane moving without wind, once the gold feathered giant bird spread its wings, it was as if the entire cosmos was shrouded under her feathers.
Ye ng Jia De was completely dumbfounded. Suddenly, it dawned on him that this was nothing but a trap! From Loki to Thor, to these Animal Gods, all were parts of this entwining trap!
At the very mont when his physical body was eradicated by the horde of demon gods, Ye ng Jia De bellowed out that na: "Loki!!!!!"
Shortly, the gigantic snake body morphed from illusion to reality and was then, sliced into pieces by divergent forces. The Animal Gods sward up to divide its body and power amongst themselves. Thor, full of fury, returned to Asgard.
He saw armored soldiers welcoming him. Thor noticed in their eyes not just flattery but also a thick disappointnt.
What were they disappointed about?
Thor figured, there's no need to ponder about this question in his heart because the answer was apparent to him all along. They were disappointed because he didn't et his fate alongside Ye ng Jia De just as the prophecy foretold.
At this mont, he found the situation highly ridiculous.
In the prophecy, after him dying along with Ye Mong Jia De, Asgard would witness the twilight of the gods. But now, this crowd was disappointed because he didn't die imdiately, so that an empty throne would be left, affording them the greatest power before their death.
All of a sudden, Thor realized the true nature of this kingdom he once loved dearly. The only patriots here are the Royal Family who spared no effort and put everything on the line to avert the twilight of the gods.
But Asgardians never did care.
Facing the prophecy, they're seized with fear and confusion. But when it cos to their self-interest, they turn greedy and indifferent.
Thor stood in mid-air, watching the various expressions of thousands below. He was suddenly reminded of his days on Earth.
These humans, ugly, perplexing, and similar, should have made it clear to him earlier that no race of gods can be perfect, so long as wisdom and flaws exist.
The generals watched Thor, whose entire body is rippling with mighty power. They lowered their heads and lauded him loudly just as they did always.
But what awaited them was neither the usual brotherly Thor laughing heartily, nor was it Odin's usual praise and celebration.
What they got was a destructive lightning bolt.
Asgard, this beautiful, ancient, complex, and mysterious kingdom, this once mighty and conquering empire in the cosmos, from today on, had a new king—
And only one new king.
anwhile, inside Shiller's Thought Palace, he hovered at the very top of the palace, directing a gigantic serpent to coil around the top of the high tower as a wall. Ye ng Jia De roared in fury: "So, you're the true deceiver!!!!"
"Enough with the chit-chat, you don't have a physical body anymore, and you can only live here with . I am your Pope, not your parents. I have no obligation to shelter a rotten snake thousands of years old, and still can't pay the rent."
"Quick, move a bit to the left, don't you see the floor you've built is crooked?"
The spirit of the large snake, Ye ng Jia De, reluctantly adjusted its body. Shiller, looking at the tower that grew another tenth in height, stroked his chin in satisfaction, saying: "Psychology is not promising when it cos to building towers. It's faster to heap it up with physics."
"How long do I have to stay here?!" Ye ng Jia De shouted impatiently. Shiller flew to his head and said, "Until you can afford the rent."
"I've never seen a Pope like you!"
"You haven't seen any Pope."
Ye ng Jia De exhaled forcefully from his nostrils, trying to blow Shiller away. Seeing this crafty human was beginning to annoy him.
"Don't be angry. Even if the prophecy ca true, you would have simply perished with Thor. At least now you get to keep your life."
"Do you think I would only curse you a few tis if it weren't so?!"
Ye ng Jia De snorted coldly. Then he rested his head on his coiled body, closed his eyes, and refused to communicate with Shiller any further.
On Earth, in Wakanda, after Black Panther returned to his sanctuary, he looked at T'Challa lying on the ground, enveloped in darkness. He sighed faintly, then pulled out a piece of snake skin from sowhere, and his claw flashed coldly as he cut it into a circle.
Soon, there was a knock at the door. After opening the gateway, Shiller's silhouette appeared in front of him. Black Panther impatiently accepted the umbrella from his hands, and before long, a new umbrella with a the Mundane Python's skin as its cap was complete.
After the new umbrella was made, Shiller lightly tapped the handle with a finger, then pressed the tip of the umbrella against T'Challa's forehead. Soon, the black energy was absorbed back into the umbrella.
"How do you like the new mber's gift?"
Black Panther growled a bit, but Shiller understood. He was saying, "not very much!"
Black Panther opened a portal, signaling for Shiller to leave quickly. After stepping through, Shiller found himself in his own nursing ho office. But now, there was soone else there. It was Natasha.
Shiller greeted her, and then said: "How's the assessnt of the damage? That lightning was quite powerful, wasn't it?"
"Yes, this bank has quite a history; it will probably be impossible to repair after that lightning strike" Natasha shook her head and, using a modulated tone, said: "But it's not your fault, Dean Arkham."
"Unfortunately, you'll probably have to move to the luxurious private resort in the western suburbs of New York and transform it into the new hospital."
"Oh, I've heard of that place. The owner of the resort was unfortunately sent back to Russia, and to be honest, I'm not very comfortable using a place that a Russian has used..."
"But it's a seaside resort with a large healing center, private hospital, golf course, horse riding facility..."
"Greedy Russians."
Natasha nodded in agreent, saying: "Greedy Russians."
When night fell, Shiller was fondly looking over his new umbrella. After a while, he stood up, looked out the window into the New York night sky, and saw a particularly bright star.
Shiller's gaze seed to cross countless stars, piercing through layers of dinsions, and saw that beautiful and ancient kingdom.
He looked down again, picked up his umbrella to examine it, and then said
"Look, a beautiful new umbrella."
