"While I was hiding and observing them, they heard . Their first reaction was to shoot. If I hadn't hidden so quickly, I would probably be dead by now."

Hal's gaze landed on Oliver's shoulder. Hearing that the n were drug traffickers, Hal's expression darkened.

Of all of them, Hal led the healthiest lifestyle. As a pilot, he had to maintain both physical and ntal fitness. Even though he was no longer a test pilot, he still carried this habit.

Therefore, he despised addictive substances such as drugs, and even alcohol and tobacco. He believed they took control of his mind and could cause him to make mistakes when he needed to concentrate.

When Oliver said that the drug traffickers had slaughtered an entire village of people, Hal was filled with anger. He began to lift off, intending to confront them.

However, just as he had gotten halfway there, he saw a robot darting out from the forest and began firing at the bottom of the boat. The boat slowly started sinking, and the panic-stricken drug traffickers jumped into the water.

The program Bruce had installed in the robot did not allow for lethal force. However, once the traffickers hit the water, they saw a gigantic creature.

The black and white figure approached them at high speed. The leader, however, sighed with relief when he realized it was an orca, as orcas usually do not attack humans.

But then, the orca bit him in half.

Watching the water turn red, Arthur closed his eyes and focused his mind, hearing the low moan of the orca.

His face also beca solemn. He turned his head and said to Shiller, "Rember what I told you? Orcas usually appear in pairs or groups. But the one that brought you here was alone, which is strange..."

Seeing the scene unfolding in the ocean, Shiller also began to understand. Orcas in the Gulf of xico often encounter these drug-trafficking teams who, despite being drug traffickers, could also be whalers due to the profit made from whale hunting.

Sure enough, Arthur spoke with a sad tone,

"He was a just-matured male orca who was ready to leave his mother to live independently. But just as they were about to part ways, they encountered a whaling ship..."

"His mother was killed by humans. According to him, that whaling ship was guarded by this group of drug traffickers..."

"Birds of a feather." Bruce remarked.

Although he didn't kill, Bruce wouldn't necessarily save the drowning drug traffickers, so he made a brief comnt and then went back to the cave.

Hal flew back, his mood noticeably heavy. Even though he couldn't communicate with the fishes, he could still hear the mournful moan of the orca.

Landing, he sighed, "In my ti in Seashore City, I've heard of legends about whalers. People called them heroes, thinking that they had conquered the most powerful beasts in the world..."

Hal shook his head and sighed, clearly disapproving and disappointed. As he expressed this disappointnt, Shiller ca forward and patted him on the shoulder. Hal thought that Shiller was about to console him but instead, he said,

"You used your superpower first, so you lose."

Hal coverd his eyes. How could he have forgotten about that? Sure enough, using the Green Lantern Ability had beco too second nature.

Just as he was about to admit defeat, Bruce, who had walked up to Oliver, called from inside the cave:

"Your healing ability is remarkable. Has the wound almost healed?"

"Yeah, I too find it amazing. It hurt like hell last night, I thought I had passed out because of the pain. But when I woke up this morning..."

Oliver lifted his shirt off his shoulder, looking at it in confusion. The wound was almost healed with the bullet hole left by the steel ball and the previous infected portion was almost completely gone, only the skin hadn't fully grown back.

Hal turned his head and gave Shiller a resentful look. Shiller answered calmly,"Perhaps Oliver has a superpower, super-fast recovery. Is that so rare? Don't you have it too?"

Hal glanced at Oliver's now healthy-looking face and snorted, "You win this one, Doctor."

Afterwords, he also went inside the cave, beginning to inquire about the specifics of the drug trafficker group to Oliver.

Arthur and Shiller went fishing by the sea, although they knew that the survival thed vacation, greatly sped up by Bruce, was probably now moot. He could still enjoy this last mont of peace; giving it one last go at fishing.

They found a reef in the water to fish from. They used Arthur's homade fishing rod, Bruce's fishing line and the insides of a small fish as bait.

Not long after Shiller cast his line, a shark's head surfaced. Both n on the reef were taken aback. Arthur paused for a mont, then said,

"Don't worry, I can communicate with fish. Let see what this shark is thinking...oh, it wants to take a bite out of you."

"Do you really need to sense that??"

Shiller angrily lifted the fishing rod and turned to leave. Just then, he saw a plane approaching from the horizon overhead with a small figure underneath it, who was holding up the plane.

Not only did Shiller notice the shadow of the plane, but Bruce, who was chopping trees outside, saw it as well. After calculating the plane's flight trajectory and landing point, he quickly headed towards it.

When the plane landed, Shiller and Hal had arrived too. Clark set down the plane smoothly. Seeing everyone staring at him, Clark surveyed the surroundings and said,

"Don't look at . I didn't choose to co; I'm just the courier..."

A feeling of dread suddenly overca Bruce. He stepped back, and then a dark figure swooped onto him.

A flock of sea birds was startled into flight above the island, a screech that pierced the sky rang out:

"Daddy!!!!!!!!"
