Never mind the fact that Jiang Hongchun had once suffered a very serious internal injury; a simple look at the poisons she was afflicted with revealed ten different types of toxins lingering in her body. Any one of these ten poisons could take a person’s life in an instant.

Yet, not only had Jiang Hongchun survived, but she also seed to be living quite well. Furthermore, the combination of poisons hadn’t produced the often-theorized phenonon of using poison to counteract poison. So, in Chen Xiaobei’s view, the fact that Jiang Hongchun was still alive was entirely due to her profound cultivation.

At this thought, Chen Xiaobei stared intently at Jiang Hongchun. How can this woman, who looks to be just over thirty, possess such incredible power?

"Mr. Chen, is there sothing on my face?" Jiang Hongchun asked, arching a delicate eyebrow in curiosity.

Murong Xiaoyi, however, was not nearly as patient. "Hey, have you figured out what’s wrong or not?" she urged. "I already told you my master keeps coughing up blood, so why haven’t you prescribed any dicine yet?"

"What the hell do you know? Shut up!" Chen Xiaobei, unable to bear it any longer, snapped back at the girl. He then turned to Jiang Hongchun. "Miss Jiang, if I’m not mistaken, you were afflicted with ten different types of rare poisons. On top of that, you suffered a severe injury in your youth that was never properly treated. As a result, these poisons combined and settled in your chest cavity, and over ti, this has caused you to cough up blood. To make matters worse, you’ve been taking Demon Blood Pills for many years, which has only exacerbated the condition. By now, you must be coughing up blood at least three tis a day, correct? Each ti, the pain in your chest must be unbearable. The most direct symptom is a pervasive coldness, which is why you’re wearing this tight leather outfit even in the sumr heat. You’re trying to keep your body from getting too cold. Am I wrong?"

At this point, the expression on Jiang Hongchun’s beautiful face could no longer be described as re surprise; it was as if she had seen a ghost. After a long mont, she couldn’t help but give him a thumbs-up in admiration.

"Mr. Chen, before I ca, I suspected that Xiaoyi might have been deceived by you," she praised. "Now I see that there is always a higher mountain. Even if Hua Tuo were alive today, his dical skills wouldn’t amount to a ten-thousandth of yours. You’re right, my condition is exactly as you’ve described! Especially recently, even though it’s the dog days of sumr and unbearably hot, my body feels extrely cold. That’s why I had to wear this tight leather outfit!"

Murong Xiaoyi exclaid in shock, "Master, didn’t you say you wear this leather outfit just because you like it? Were you lying to ?"

"Silly girl," Jiang Hongchun said gently. "I was afraid you’d worry, so I told a little lie."

"What?!" Murong Xiaoyi’s mouth gaped open in embarrassnt. She had always worshipped her master, imitating Jiang Hongchun in both her actions and her principles since she was a child. But who would have thought her master only wore leather because she felt cold! This was a huge misunderstanding!

Looking at Murong Xiaoyi’s speechless expression, Chen Xiaobei couldn’t help but feel smug. He teased, "You know, you really should use your brain once in a while. Do you just copy everything soone else does? Aren’t you boiling in that outfit?"

"Mind your own business!" Murong Xiaoyi fud.

Seeing the two were about to start bickering again, Luo Qingcheng quickly stepped in to diate. "Xiaobei, since you understand Miss Jiang’s condition, are you confident you can cure her?"

Chen Xiaobei pondered for a mont. "There is a way, but Miss Jiang will have to suffer a bit."

He elaborated, "First, I’ll use my Heavenly Fire Acupuncture to heal the internal injuries in your body and stabilize the leakage of your True Qi. Then, after continuous dicinal baths for at least a month and taking the Detoxification Pills I prepare, I guarantee a full recovery. However, because the internal injury has been accumulating for so long, the acupuncture will intensely stimulate your Eight Extraordinary ridians, causing excruciating pain. Furthermore, during the dicinal baths, the process of expelling the toxins will reactivate the residual poisons. Each bath will feel like a form of torture. It will be very difficult to endure!"

Murong Xiaoyi’s face turned pale with fright. "Hey! Isn’t there any other way?" she cried out. "Are you doing this on purpose?!"

"No." Chen Xiaobei shrugged. "This is the only thod I have. You’re free to try finding soone else, but I can guarantee it: besides , no one else stands a chance!"

Upon hearing this, Murong Xiaoyi knew Chen Xiaobei wasn’t lying. Overco with concern, she grabbed her master’s hand. "Master, perhaps you should reconsider?"

Jiang Hongchun truly cherished her disciple. Caressing her apprentice’s lovely face, she said, "Xiaoyi! I have taught you that life in this world is, in essence, a journey of cultivation. Whether it’s pain or pleasure, it is all part of our journey! Rember, sweetness follows bitterness. There can be no sweet without the bitter."

She then turned to Chen Xiaobei. "Mr. Chen, if you don’t mind, please begin the treatnt! As for the fee, just na your price. I’ll have Xiaoyi transfer it to you."

"Hmph." Murong Xiaoyi puffed out her cheeks in annoyance.

Given that she had at least vouched for him, Chen Xiaobei decided not to stoop to her level. He waved his hand dismissively. "You’re too kind, Miss Jiang. We’re all friends here; talking about money would spoil the mood. If you’re ready, I can administer the acupuncture at any ti."

"Then I thank you, Mr. Chen." Jiang Hongchun smiled, her eyes filled with anticipation. "I’m ready whenever you are. Where shall we perform the acupuncture?"

"Let’s go to my room." Chen Xiaobei had never t such a calm woman. Filled with curiosity, he led Jiang Hongchun into his room.

Then, he gave an instruction. "Qingcheng, please prepare a basin of clean, cold water and leave it outside the door. Also, I don’t like to be disturbed when I’m administering acupuncture. I trust you, of course, but as for certain people—"

"Hmph! I’m leaving, alright?" Murong Xiaoyi spun around and ran outside.

Using his Nine Nether Eyes, Chen Xiaobei saw the girl find a shady corner, where she squatted down, pouting angrily. She’s actually pretty cute!

Jiang Hongchun sighed. "Mr. Chen, my disciple has detested n ever since she was hurt as a child. If she has offended you in any way, I apologize on her behalf. I hope you won’t take it to heart." As she spoke, she gave Chen Xiaobei a very soothing smile.

Chen Xiaobei felt as if his heart was about to lt. "You’re overstating things, Miss Jiang. Xiaoyi is actually rather cute. I’m not angry with her at all."

"That’s good." Jiang Hongchun nodded, then asked eagerly, "How should I cooperate? Do I just need to lie down?"

"Well..." Chen Xiaobei said awkwardly, "during a Heavenly Fire Acupuncture session, the body becos extrely hot, so you can’t wear any clothes. So, if you could please—"

Before he could finish his sentence, he heard a sharp ZZZIP. Right in front of him, Jiang Hongchun had already stripped off her clothes!

The sight of her perfect body almost made Chen Xiaobei’s nose bleed...
