Death… And Me Chapter 1832: There is a much better thing to do with it

Just like what happened with Rean and Roan, the Universe Foundation Fragnt in Fratekla's crystal ball reacted to the pushing force in the old ruins. Soon, a passage without anything blocking their way opened, allowing the demons to pass through.

Back on the twins' side, Roan continued his talk with the demon soul on the altar. "So, wanna make a deal?"

The demon soul pondered about the situation for a bit. He knew Roan's strength, so he would definitely have the advantage when an Underworld Soul Forcing Link was used between them. However, if Roan knew about the link, he definitely knew about the possibility of taking over the other part's soul with enough ti. Not to ntion the twins knew about the Foundation Fragnts.

The demon felt like sothing wasn't right, so he asked, "What kind of deal do you want to do? Is it strength? Submission?"

Roan shook his head, replying, "I want knowledge. I know very well you have no intention whatsoever to help us in a dangerous situation. If anything, our death could possibly set you free, so you won't move a muscle. Since you could feel the presence of the Universe Foundation Fragnt and tell what it was, I believe you know where to find more of them."

"Ha!" The demon soul snorted in response. "Even if I did have this information, why would I tell you that? You seem to know what the Universe Foundation Fragnts are too. Naturally, you should know how important they are. That's sothing the top experts of the Realm of Gods and the Foundation Realm itself would die to get their hands on."

"Foundation Realm itself?" Those words took the twins by surprise. "Is this the place where you can find the angel races?"

"Hmph!" The demon soul snorted again. "So you do know about the angels. That's correct. The light side of the Foundation Realm is dominated by the angel races. As for the dark side, you should know that better than anyone else, Roan."

Roan imdiately nodded, responding, "The demons." It's not that he knew it, but instead, it seed pretty obvious after he heard about the light side.

Rean then pondered in silence for a bit before saying, "Hey, demon. We still don't know your na. It's annoying to keep calling you demon nonstop."

"Travux," the demon replied. "Since you have so relation to the fragnts, I guess you're at least worthy of knowing my na. Not that anyone would rember anymore anyway."

Sure enough, not even Sister Orb knew anything about Travux. Though, Soul Gem, the soul that was sleeping in the Soul Gem System, might have known sothing. However, ever since Soul Gem went back to sleep, he hadn't shown his presence anymore.

Rean nodded after hearing that. "So, Travux, this deal shouldn't be too bad for you. There has to be sothing you want at the mont, and it might be possible with the deal. Are you afraid of Roan being able to take over your soul instead of the opposite? You should know better than anyone else that he doesn't have the cultivation to do such a thing. However, there's one thing I can tell you. We're absolutely sure you won't be able to take over his soul either. That's why we're offering this."

Travux didn't feel very confident, though. But then again, he knew how much a genius Roan was, and so was Rean. If they developed further, it was pretty much guaranteed they wouldn't die anymore. Not to ntion that the Soul Gem Dinsional Realm really hadn't given him any feeling of breaking down due to his presence so far. It's just that he didn't know if Roan had so way of taking his soul over that he didn't know. "Sothing I want..."

He knew that the twins absolutely wouldn't set him free. That would be the sa as asking for death. Travux wouldn't commit the sa mistake anymore and be sent into the Dinsional Realm. In any case, he still had to try. "My freedom. Let go, and I'll tell you where you can find another Foundation Fragnt."

"Sure," Rean and Roan replied instantly.

"What?!" Naturally, Travux was taken aback.

Roan then explained, "What's the surprise? Once we make our Underworld Soul Forcing Link, neither you nor I will be able to cause the other side any trouble. We just have to set a single rule. You shall never get in our way nor have anything to do with the Universe Foundation Fragnts. You will exclude yourself from all of that unless I allow you to do so. Simply put, it'll be as if we had never t each other. All we need from you is the knowledge about the fragnts' locations."

"That's not gonna happen!" Travux imdiately refused. "I also want the fragnts, and I went to great lengths to get information about them. If what your brother said is true, then I'll never be able to put my hands on the fragnts anymore. I won't let that happen."

Roan faintly smiled before asking, "The fragnts carry a lot of power, but what exactly do you want to use them for? No, what does everyone even want them for?"

Travux went silent for a mont, finding it weird that the twins knew so much but asked such a stupid question. "Could it be you don't know what they can do?"

Rean and Roan imdiately turned to Sister Orb. 'What is he talking about?'

[Don't ask ,] Sister Orb answered. [All I know is that we need the fragnts to unify the two parts of the universe again by repairing the foundation. I don't know anything other than that.]

Roan then confird. "We only used their power for ourselves. We don't know for what else they can be used. What? Could it be you can get control over the entire universe if you have them all?"

Travux laughed in response. "Hahahaha! Take control over the universe? That's ridiculous and would bring a lot of annoying problems. There's sothing better you can do with it."
