Rean's Light Elent invaded that mangled dual soul, pulling Roan's Dark Elent with it and using its corrosive properties to create gaps between the Abyssal Soul Shard and Duere's real soul. Obviously, that was causing terrible damage to Duere's Soul, but there wasn't anything Rean could do about it.
The best Rean could do was get Duere's Soul Free, allowing it to enter the cycle of reincarnation. As for saving Duere, that option has been out of the question since the very
start.
Rean's Light Elent quickly got a hold of the struggling Abyssal Soul Shard as it slowly separated from Duere's Soul. He also made sure it couldn't attach itself back to Duere's Soul, giving it zero mobility. While all that happened, Rean had to keep his Spiritual Energy and Light Elent flowing into Duere's head to keep it alive montarily.
Finally, Rean unmade the mangling between the two souls, pulling the Abyssal Soul away from Duere's soul.
*Gh...*
The severed huge Camaztoz Bat seed to grit its teeth in pain. It wasn't a pain due to the injury in its neck, but the soul instead. For a short mont, Duere opened his eyes, although he couldn't talk due to the lack of lungs to generate air.
Duere then caught sight of Rifindio not too far away from there. Rifindio had a different appearance and Aura, thanks to Roan's pills. However, Duere was sure about it. That was definitely Rifindio. Perhaps he could still feel the Camazotz Bloodline presence, even in that state. Right after, Duere's feeble Divine Sense spread out of his head, delivering one last ssage.
'If just you hadn't co here...'
Rifindio was taken aback, not understanding how this outco could be his fault. 'What are you talking about?'
However, Duere's soul, which was already in its last monts, finally couldn't be sustained by Rean's Light Elent and Spiritual Energy anymore. It began to dissipate, and the twins saw how it was being dragged into the void. No doubt it was being sent to the Underworld, just like any other soul in the Lisan Universe.
Rean sighed for a mont and threw Duere's head in Rifindio's direction, easily avoiding the Spatial Rifts around the area. 'I managed to read his mories. In a certain way, you could say his outco has sothing to do with you. Don't worry, though. In the end, it was all his fault. I'll explain to you later.'
Rifindio was obviously curious about that. 'Okay.'
Rean and Roan then looked at the struggling Abyssal Soul Shard in their hands. It kept trying to get free. To be more specific, it was trying to run in the direction of the crack where all the Chaos Energy ca from. That crack with a purple light inside was pretty much closed already.
"Hmph! Do you think we will let you go that easily?" Roan snorted. He wanted to try and read that Abyssal Soul's mories as well.
*Bzzz!*
Suddenly, that crack with a purple light inside acted again. Another burst of Chaos Energy ca out, reaching the Abyssal Soul Shard in a split second. Even Rean, Roan, and Kentucky failed to react in ti before that concentration of Chaos Energy entered the Abyssal Soul Shard.
"Shit! It will try to escape!" Roan complained, and the twins used their rged bodies and remaining energy to try to hold the shard back.
Yet, things didn't play as the twins' group expected. 'Hmph! Who said I'd escape?' A ssage reached the twins' minds, and the Abyssal Soul Shard used that last amount of Chaos Energy to free itself from the twins' grasp. Then, it shot into Rean and Roan's forehead! 'Since that body was useless, I might as well use this body of yours instead. You don't have the proper bloodline, but I will make it work.'
Rean and Roan were indeed late to avoid that attack. However, there wasn't the least bit of worry on their rged body face. Instead, nothing but mockery could be seen there. 'What an idiot...'
*Pin!*
[Soul Invasion Detected.]
Sure enough, the ultimate soul protection device imdiately sprung to life. The Celestial Soul System would never allow any being in the Great Void to cause any trouble in the twins' souls.
'WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!'
[Isolating threat... completed.]
'NOOOO! Let go! I demand you let go!' The Abyssal Soul Shard struggled with all its might, using every bit of its reserves of Chaos Energy. Yet, in the Celestial Soul System's field, not even a thousand tis that amount would be enough to succeed.
[Abyssal Soul Shard has been restrained. Eliminate threat?]
The system ended with a question. It could imdiately destroy the Abyssal Soul Shard, but the decision would be ultimately up to Rean and Roan.
'No.' Naturally, the twins refused the idea. They still wanted to get more information from it.
[Order received.]
*Bzzz!*
The twins' then felt a jolt in their souls, and the Abyssal Soul Shard imdiately went quiet. The system had made it go unconscious! In the next second, the system sent it into the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm. With it unconscious, it couldn't fight back against the pull. Finally, it was left floating in the Dinsional Realm, just waiting for the twins to do whatever they wanted with it.
*Zuuup...*
As for the Purple Crack in Space, it imdiately closed right after. With that last burst of Chaos Energy, which was much smaller than when it helped Duere, seed to lose all its power. Whatever was keeping it open was now gone.
*Clack... Plin!*
In the next mont, a crack of Light and Dark Light appeared on Rean and Roan's fused body. A burst of Spiritual Energy and Elents followed, and the twins returned to their original separated forms. Naturally, so did their cultivations, stabilizing back in the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm.
"I truly hate this shit!" Roan comnted with a dark expression.
"So do I," Rean agreed with him.
Rean then opened his hand, and there, a blue crystal with countless micro Circuitry Formation Runes could be seen. "So this is the ultimate item that controls everything, uh?"
*Smash!*
Without thinking twice, Rean crushed the device.
